He responded once (and offered zero help or guidance) I have 2 unanswered mails at this point.

Pretty poor start for me.

I'm just curious, why ship another round of defective products? I now have 6 quartz cups which don't work.

It would be hard to be optimistic about that when the current coil-less solution works so poorly. I'm pretty much over this one, I feel like a true coil-less solution would be better explored on a newer, slightly larger platform. Purpose built for coil less vaporization.

Brent a good guy & he was just trying to do the right thing to fix a mistake.
I agree it's costing money out of his pocket, but he has not charge me a dime.
Unlike others who give you a 1 day warranty on coils, lol.
So it seems as if he errs on the side of the customer.

I used my mole on tennis court today with the 10 second auto puff
yocan torch battery, cool, small, & simple.

I think they did beat AVS by a few days. Unfortunately for HVT r/waxpen, their biggest supporters, seems to have moved on to the Molecule.

I still think the Sai is a solid option for people who don't want to deal with installing raw coils though. But $13 or so gets you 4 Mole quartz buckets.

Yeah that's why the Molecule is exciting. The new ceramic plate is an improvement over the donuts of old. But I can't see them outperforming the raw power of flattened stainless steel coils.

On the exposed coil front, I still haven't done an ISO wash on my Mole coils. Just doing a little q-tipping here and there. Still getting tasty, potent hits. Very little reclaim.

So Cute , lol The Molecule I'm talking about ...

Please stop chumming the Divine Tribe thread with your views on your favorite atomizer. This thread is about the Mole. Anyone who has read through this thread can see where YOUR preferences lie. I came here to read about more Mole information, and once again its you railing on about someone else's gear.......I did say please....thank you

How this for you, ok?

Very interesting @tennisguru1, I apologize for my rudeness. I think I got my tampon in the wrong hole that day. Thanks for your contribution! I will try and assure my attitude is proper before poo-flinging......

Now that people have told me including , advanced Vape Supply, that some oil is supposed to go down through the cup holes to make a good seal.

I've put my original coil back on very tight all cleaned up ,except for the bottom I left some oil there. My first few hits through it we're great.

I'll see how excessive the pooling up gets, 'll try to do small loads.

Advanced Vape Supply did contact me regarding my customer service questions, just took a few emails but I guess that's understandable.

Yes , They are good peeps.
Glad everything is getting resolved.
Once you get those lil holes sealed with oil,
turning it upside and taking a hit at the end of your hits
will vape all the oil that goes on bottom of coil before it
turns to any reclaim at all. Gently, let gravity do it.

Just stumbled across the Molecule while shopping AVS for pre-built e-cig wire. Searched for a review and found this thread. Glad to see these ideas being pursued commercially and looking forward to innovations.

Gotta plug FC's own one-hitter thread. You'll find dozens of DIY designs for vaping concentrate with e-cig gear going back five years. Tried flattened coils among many others. Worked fine. It's not that difficult to get good results. Any thirsty wire seems to work. It looks like AVS is using quad-core fused and alien claptons for this application.

Also tried a "banger build" which heated a quartz cup from the bottom and sides. That didn't work so well. One problem was the wire - which is still in the air-path - had to get red-hot to heat the cup sufficiently. Another was the need to hold it vertically to prevent pooling. It was only a couple of half-baked attempts. Believe @2clicker had more success. Wish AVS well with it.

Built first coils with AVS pre-built wire. Vaping it right now for e-juice. (Their spooled framed staples wire is a steal.) They have some excellent YouTube introductory tutorials on wrapping and mounting coils for vapers. Might have to pick up a Molecule to play with.

hey hey, hows it goin around here? i saw this the other day and thought it was interesting. it did remind me of the cup design on the DT donuts though. i am actually still using DT donuts, but have ditched the cup and the V3 atty. the cups just hold reclaim against the heater from what ive experienced. now i run the donut only. so any oil that drips off the donut, drops away from the donut. this keeps it from getting so gunked up so quick. specifically the underside of the donut.

this atty looks like it too would suffer from reclaim being reheated and oil running out the bottom of the cup through the holes. im sure it works really well if youre good with reg maintenance and replacement. i do not see how this could be better than the quartz quest other than being maybe a more “finished” product though.

i suppose its just really hard to manufacture a cup, whether ceramic or quartz, that has the wire traced inside the bottom and sides. just like a DT donut, but no hole and heated walls. even better in quartz. certainly this isn’t impossible and would work perfectly i would think.

i havent messed with the quartz quest, but i have found that no special airflow is needed to get great performance out of DT donuts. i do want to test the QQ, but have been insanely busy since logging onto FC last, ive just been using what is working for me.

Good to hear from you, @2clicker! Been thinking about this, since finding this thread. What about a round, rather than flat bottom? Imagine a prototype starting with a stove-top coil.

iu

(For non-builders.)

Press the cut-off bottom of a 10mm test tube into the center of the stove-top so that the coil spirals up the sides of the tube. Then, thread a larger diameter test tube (maybe 13mm) with holes drilled into it over the leads. It might be possible to torch the edge of the cup to encapsulate the wire. The round bottom should reduce pooling.

ive just been using what is working for me.

Same here. Discovered 24mm to 18mm GonG adapters fit over precious Tendou atomizer. Load a bucket-shaped coil and invert over over a water piece.

Got the new mouthpiece available for the Molecule
This should be the standard that comes with it in the first place
Definetly fixed the tight fitting mouthpiece
Much more comfortable to use.

Also ordered replacement coils and 2 cups
Whoever did the coils not good at all
All were twisted hard to get flat again
May have to order the needle nose from them

The coils that came with my Molecule are flat and nice leg bends.
Still being able to replace coil and cup may not be for everyone but not that hard if you follow the video.

I use a towel so if you drop cup or screw won’t break or bounce away
Have a good pair of wire cutters also I cut end at angle to thread it through cup
Then straight across to mount to base
Still say this thing tastes great and nice hits for a coil
Better than the Sai triple coil IMO

I bought one of these a week ago. Someone recommended it to me. Good unit from what little but Ive used it. Hits hard, tastes okay.

Might have to take a look at the Flightdeck. That looks really interesting.
