Not a big fan of Zeus products. Other than their cleaner and grinder is okay when you get it for free. But I also agree, their vapes always seem rebranded from the Flowermate.

The manufacturer told me the gold plated version was made cause it brings smoother vapor....idk if it's true but I already mentionned the smooth vapor as a big pro for the Arc GT I get. I asked about the peel/flaking issue it might appear but they assured me it was tested and I haven't to be afraid about that.
Imo the metal plate (gold or stainless steel) do the job to smooth the vapor, I don't feel it harsh on my throat.

The main cons I can see is the silicone mp which stinks a bit while new, manufacturer told me they are working on a fix (better cured silicone... or maybe an alternate mp). And the restricted airflow (don't bother me too much.

Battery life is amazing!

Honnestly this vape is a lot better than expected, solid building quality, solid vapor production, good taste (after the silicone taste faint). Price seems on point for me too!

The Zeus Arc GT vaporizer was sent to me for testing/review purpose, I’m not affiliated with this company. They are the makers of the T-Vape but Zeus is the new company they are running originally from Ontario but they will move to Germany very soon, although the Arc GT is made in China.

Packaging is awesome, like a luxurious chocolate box there is some nice black paper wrapped around the content with their business card on the top, in the package there is 4 boxes: the Zeus Arc GT vaporizer, a Armor carrying pouch, a 4000mah powerbank and 4 parts grinder .

P1060782.jpg

The Zeus Arc GT’s box contents a usb cord, a spacer (mine is mesh but they told my next will be glass/quartz), a cleaning kit and a very nice user manual.

The difference between the Arc and the GT version is the Arc is stainless steel airpath/bowl/vaporpath and the GT is goldplated supposed to provide smoother vapor.

So the Arc GT is a portable battery powered vaporizer ( battery isn’t user-replacable) for loose leaf. It’s small size is perfect to vaporize on the go and I like how it fits in my hands. There is a solid feeling (aluminium body) with some weight ( ).

P1060785.jpg

The Arc GT close of the Fog (XVape) and the Nano (Flowermate)

Mouthpiece is made of silicone, a metal gold plated heatsink (to smooth the vapor) and a screen (gold plated too). On the opposite side there is a square shapped small metal part stucked in the silicone wich act as the main (and only one) button (similar to the Pax3 power button).
P1060789.jpg

Mouthpiece
P1060787.jpg

Bottom side with stir tool removed to show the air inlet and the usb port

Under the bottom there is a tool for stirring and you have to remove it to find the usb port for charging. Charging time is around 2 hours. Battery life is pretty good, at least 8x10mn sessions but I bet I can get a few sessions more. To check battery level you shake the unit 2 times and it will show you the battery level displayed with red leds (1 to 3 bars). Battery is not user removable.

The bowl is gold plated and rather large since you can load 0,2g into. At the bottom of the bowl, in the airpath tube, there is a gold plated mesh screen filter you can remove for cleaning. Loading is easy.

To power the vape on you have to press the power button for 2s. The button is well placed and it doesn’t seems to be possible to power the unit on by mistake while in the pocket. To change settings a single press is enough. Settings are visible on the unit’s thin side with 3 leds, blue while heating, green when it reaches heat setting, white when in stand-by (stand-by mode appear when no movement is detected) and red to show battery level.

There is a haptic feedback feature which works when you power the unit on/off, change heat settings and reach temp. It is a bit too loud imo.

The heat settings will be user adjustable through an incoming App for PC and Mac but for now I only used the three factory presets settings (205,212 and 220°C). The manual mentionned different factory settings but they told me it was a mistake and they need to correct it

P1060816.jpg

Heating time is 40s-60s which is slower than our actual standards, I asked them if it’s possible to consider a shorter heating time but they told me this heating time is needed in order to produce consistent vapor…

P1060813.jpg

The airflow is pretty restricted considering to the concurrence (even with a loose load), not a big deal for me but I know some peoples will find that annoying.

Now the interesting part, how is the vapor ?

First the goods, the vapor is smooth & dense enough, it’s an efficient vape since the load comes out pretty spent and it tastes good enough for a conduction vape. Vapor is warm but still very, very smooth even at the high temps they set the vape. They told me gold plated heatsink helps a lot for smooth vapor.

Now the negatives, the silicone mouthpiece brings a well known bad taste while new which disappear after a few sessions and some cleaning before ( water, iso and water again). The taste is characteristic of the conduction styles vaporizers, nice on the beginning but quickly cashed although I wasn’t able to test lower t° than 205°C since the App is still not available.

P1060794.jpg

Here the mouthpiece with the goldplated heat sink removed, top of the unit and abv (finished at 212°C, 10mn session)

About the cleaning, the bowl itself will not need a lot of cleaning since the bottom mesh pad seems to stay very clean, the area around the top of the bowl can be very quickly cleaned while hot using a piece of clothes or coton (this is avoid to use iso since it’s peek around the top of the bowl, idk if it’s iso resistant). But the mouthpiece will need some cleaning, for now I only use the wipe cleaning I mentionned above but you can dismantle the mp and put everything in a iso bath for a few minutes (silicone part, gold plated screen and gold plated heatsink).

Positives : Negatives :

- very nice, stealth and handy design - silicone mp brings a bad taste

- smooth and dense vapor - heating time

- battery life - restricted airflow

- included stirring tool - no user-replaceable battery

- isolated airpath

- packagging and accessories

Zeus team is working on a better mp to avoid the silicone taste.

In conclusion the Arc GT is a pretty good vaporizer I appreciate to use in several situations. Although I don’t know if the GT version is a true improvement but I didn’t tested the stainless steel version (they told me gold plated heatsink brings smoother vapor and better taste). It’s not cheap but it’s not very much overpriced too, so for 199$ I think the Arc is a pretty good choice for stealth on the go vaping sessions and the 229$ GT version is a bit too high but it’s only 30$ more for the hype ! tThe accessories are pretty nice too, a carrying hard case, a watertool adapter (not tested), a decent grinder and an awesome 5000mah powerbank !

Don’t hesitate to ask me if I missed something, thanks for your interest.

Thank you for your balanced and fair report.

Yes, I know this is per TV and not you, but I cannot see any valid science that would support this thin gold plating doing a darn thing besides providing marketing value.

didn't know you were a scientist - better yet a chemist. You're a stud, spends all day in forums and still has time to save the world through science. Keep it up!

i noticed with a week of using mine that the heat sink plate collected residue from the vapor - which is technically wax. I put it on my wax pen and to say the least my sunday was littt

I didn’t realize the price point was up there with Pax and DaVinci. That’s some stiff competition.
He can support the comparison, a bit less cloudy than an IQ but a bit more than a Pax3 and very similar in term of taste. It's smaller than both but I think it's bigger than a Miqro (I know the Fog I pictured close of the Zeus is the same size than the IQ is, I don't own an IQ but one of my friends get one).

restricted airflow
I was able to get it wider by replacing the tight mesh in the bottom of the chamber by a bigger loose one which offer greater airflow and reduce slightly chamber capacity.

Thank you for your balanced and fair report.

Thanks, I agree the goldplated thing doesn't brings anything else than hype although I would be curious to test a stainless steel unit to see if there is any difference in taste&smoothness.

Yes it collects reclaim more the silicone do since it's colder. I agree this reclaim looks pretty clear and clean but I wouldn't use it directly in a wax pen if you don't want to gunk your atty, collect it, winterize it and filter before.

It seems new UV treated silicone mp are in plan in order to eliminate the nasty taste coming from the actual mp. Although I'm testing the Rift too and the initial silicone taste was a lot more present in the Vivant's vape but I'm bored by all this silicone in most vaporizers, when it's only a o-ring or two to secure fitting it's ok but why a silicone vaporpath and no others options?

I asked already about a glass/ceramic mp and will try again cause it will serve this vape a lot, silicone mp for stealth hits and glass mp to vape in the sofa at home.

The app (for pc&mac) is very close to be ready, I expect to unlock the true taste's potential of this vape with lower temp (actually the lower is 205°C).

Nobody take the plunge?

The Arc GT works pretty well for me, I used it at a party this weekend, lot of peoples tested it and they was impressed by the performances. Battery life is amazing. Taste is pretty good despite the silicone in the vaporpath and clouds are thick and satisfying. A winner for me, at least one of the best I tested since a few months, on pair with a friend's IQ I tested lately and even smaller.

I think the cheaper stainless steel version works the same. The App for PC and Mac doesn't seems available...

I just bought this one myself and honestly this vaporizer packs a serious punch.
I was really impressed by it given the size of the thing. I may not be the best judge here since this is my first own vape, until now I only vaped with a few friends of mine.
I only tried the first and second heat levels till now, but I think the taste on the Arc is actually really good... pretty thick clouds as well as that crazy cool vapor (considering the distance) makes inhaling these really easy I suppose. Did you have any problems with the bigger bottom mesh?
I'll be trying it more the next days, but I've got to pass a calculus midterm b4 my next session.

Welcome on FC!

As a first vape ever you took some risks buying a recently released vaporizer but I'm happy if you appreciate it like me. Did you bought the stainless steel version or the goldplated version?

Do you speak about the big square shapped mesh screen or the tiny long one stucks in the bottom? Personnaly I removed the tiny one and put the big one in the bottom of the bowl, this is reduce the bowl size but improve the airflow. Maybe this mod affect slightly clouds size and density but I found the airflow very restricted for my liking with the tiny and dense mesh screen they stuck in the air inlet.

Don't hesitate to share with the community!

It was a risk for sure, yeah. I heard a lot of bad things about Zeus vaporizers prior to buying my Arc, mostly about them being pretty much flowermate vapes.

I guess people just blame the Arc for the same reason (gotta say though, I don't really agree with TVapes marketing schemes, so theres that) they don't like other Zeus products, but I think the Arc really stands out from their other products (and other vaporizers too!).
I'm really looking forward to the App, it's one of the reasons why I bought my arc (future-proofing maybe?).

I've got myself the goldplated one as well but there can't really be a big difference between that and the stainless steel version really.
About the mesh; Yeah, I meant the one on the bottom of the chamber. Just thought that it might get messy more easily with the bigger mesh. My arc didn't come with one, instead they now ship with 2 glass raisers!

I also have one and I'm a fan of it.
My biggest complaint would be that I'd like it to be a bit easier with the air flow. I think I may have squat the small mesh in the chamber when I was cleaning it but maybe not and it's just a tight mesh. Any ideas on a replacement mesh that may be a bit looser? Perhaps the glass spacer by itself will work but then I didn't want to make the chamber smaller.

My unit didn't came with a glass spacer but with a mesh pad square shapped, I replaced the inner mesh in the air inlet with this mesh pad spacer and, yes, the airflow is better like that since the spacer is looser.

Enjoy your Arc!

Zeus Arc GT - I've had mine a week and have to say pretty disappointed. Form factor is good and is solid / easy to use. But the draw restriction is that of some cheap Chinese vape at 1/4 of the cost. It was so bad, I thought I had a faulty unit.

I found that if I removed the mesh at the bottom completely, it massively improves the air flow and does help matters. Taste wise is ok, but not as good as the reviews say - it's certainly no better the Arizer Argo - which i'd rate better as a small portable vape.

My other semi gripe - is the bowl is same size as crafty/mighty - maybe 0.3? usually I use a little less during the day, so had to use the glass spacer, which gives very little vapour and there are a lot of little vapes that do it much better and cheaper with the smaller bowls - Fury 2, Arizer Argo spring to mind. So if you want a 0.3 bowl size vape at that type cost, Crafty bigger device, but in a different league, IQ better also, but a pain to clean.

Overall i'd be mmm at €150 at €250, i'm feeling money not well spent - a case style over performance. Unlike many of the reviews - this is not a paid one ;-)

I agree with the airflow issue (but you fixed that it seems...) and I didn't say the taste was so good, if you look at the positive/negative I posted at the end of my review I didn't mention the taste in the positive, like you I think it's ok since you get ride of the initial taste, not more. Although I didn't found the IQ's taste to be better, IQ is more expensive and there is a lot of issues (cleaning and bugs mainly).

About the Argo I can't claim any experience (I never got/tested an Arizer vape!) but I read here they are famous to produce a good taste despite a low extraction rate and not so thick clouds.

I like the Zeus Arc for what it is, a durable, small, easy to use vape to share on the go, the battery life is amazing and friends appreciate clouds thickness and smoothness coming from an old conduction style heater.

About your spacer, you can use a mesh pad from another vape to fill the bottom of the chamber halfway... works very well for me. I'm feeling sorry if my review mislead you although what I like may not be what you like, I mentionned all the issue you mentionned too (except for the glass spacer) in my review. It's not a daily driver for me but I bring it with me in every party I'm going!

Just an issue I got is with the gold plated heatsink, I like to scrape the reclaim on the heatsink after a few session, for cleaning but for vaping purpose too (sometime I appreciate the taste of the reclaim if not reclaimed with iso/alcohol!), I do that with a dabber and noticed my scraping removed a tiny amount of the tiny gold layer, I can see the marks at least... so, no more scrapping or with a plastic tool only.

Seems overpriced for what is essentially another Chinese conduction vape without replaceable batteries.
Gold plating sounds like a gimmick but it would stop one from scrubbing your metal pieces incase it wears of.

Agree with your opinion about the goldplated thing although I don't find it so "overpriced" for a so compact unit. I bought the waterpipe adapter which is the same than the og mp without plate and direct airflow, this mp offer a bigger, bigger airflow... this is lead me to think the restriction is coming from the og mp and maybe not only for the mesh (although I removed the tiny tight mesh and replaced it with a cubic shaped mesh screen in order to reduce bowl size too).
Yes, replacable batteries might be a big plus but it's not the one to use sealed battery (Fury2,Crafty,AirVape,Rift,...) but it's not an excuse. The abv comes out perfectly browned, not black like the Nano by FM, yes it's conduction, but well done. It's a direct competitor to the IQ in my mind which is (I suppose) better inj some departments but more expensive, 199 (229) for the Arc and 240 for the IQ.

Edit: The App is still not available and it's a shame cause I would like to unlock full performances.

Hello there,

Little post in the wait for Zeus to maybe be activ on this thread.

First I wish to point out that I may not seen as objective because since I became a member here, I created my company that sells vaporizer (La Centrale Vapeur quoted by PPN above ^^) and I am Zeus reseller in France.

I just wanted to add a little information and my 2 scents:

The ARC is not being made in China, it's actually build for Zeus in Germany.

I have been using my unit actively for more than 2 month with some very good results.

If we decided to carry it, it's because I have been really suprised by the quality of this vape and of the vapor.
For me it's a direct competitor of the PAX and DaVinci IQ, I would say it's a buffed PAX.

The flavors stay longer with the IQ though, but that's also linked to the IQ weaker heater.

It's actually one of the few new vapes that got me excited lately.

What I really liked with the ARC GT is the short draw time for nice clouds, and really good flavors at low temps, givent the fact that I bear in mind it's condution vape, so I compare it to other conduction vapes.

On the cons side, there is the unmovable battery, and the mouthpiece that can come out when in the pocket... like the PAX.

Last but not least, the Arc is not an Upcoming and unrealeased vape as the it's now available for purchase for a few moths ;)

The App will not be an app, but a computer programm, it should be available within the next 4 months according to Zeus.

Hello,

No, not really oriented micro dosing.

It comes with a spacer though, but even with the spacer inside it's no really microdosing ;)

Hi, the App for the Arc is now available... but it's a bit disappointing cause you haven't a full access to the features since they only offer 4 differents presets. Two presets are for the best vapor production but one get some cool down feature disabled, another is for flavor and last is called "balanced" cause offer both low temp presets and high temp presets.
Honnestly I was expecting I can set custom settings cause none of their presets match my vaping style although I just downloaded the "balanced" preset to test the taste. It's 185-205-225, factory settings was 205-215-225 and the 215°C will miss to me, I would prefer something like 195-210-225 but, sadly, it's not possible for now...

For infos the heat up time is 80s whatever the setting you choose... or I misunderstood something, I will make a test starting at preset 1 and after at preset 2 to check if there is a heat up time difference. I don't know if it's possible to reduce this time through the App, for sure it's not possible at now. It looks like it's possible to disable auto shutoff or to reduce/incresae the delay time, same for the cool down feature (turn heat off when unit don't move for a specific time) but it's not yet possible by user but it's available as a preset in the App v4.1.

I hope they will improve this App with a full customized option.

Mod-note: The Arc is now fully available in severals shops, maybe it's time to move this thread to the "Portables vaporizers" section...?

Thought I'd update after owning the Zeus Arc GT a 2-3 months now. Some useful advice on this thread which can improve performance.

I removed the lower small mesh pad entirely which did improve airflow and I've kept it this way. No herb seems to fall through and airflow goes from unacceptable to pretty good.

I have quite a collection of Vapes. ARC is getting compared to Fury2, Ghost Mv1, Arizer argo and solo 2, Crafty Da Vinci Iq and Miqro. Plus the desktops.

Out of the box it looks and feels like a quality product . Solid. But it first not perform in keeping with its price point, just in my opinion, in compared to others.

The mouthpiece does get a little warm, but not too bad. It's not as nice to use as a glass or more raised mouth piece. Whatever temperature and strain flavour after a couple of tokes drops and get the slightly burnt popcorn tase a little too early in the session compared with others.

Ultimately based on my grab and go usage of the small portables - I have both the Fury 2 and the Arizer Argo I, would those both first. Fury 2, as one of the best airflows on a portable, good cloud production, taste ok, not top tier but good enough. Cheap, solid easy to use and clean. Vapor production wise nothing in it between that and the ARC GT. It also should be noted that if using the bowl spacer enclosed, so bowl size similar to argo/fury the vapor production is much worse than a full bowl. This bothered me as if wanting a single or micro session the ARC with the spacer was not up to par in comparison to some others.

Silicone mouthpiece at this price point with no spare or decent other option available, is not impressive.

The arizer argo, also seems to get used a lot. Glass mouthpiece is nice, flavour is better than fury same or better than GT. Vapor production is a little lighter than than the Fury or GT, airflow slightly worse than fury but not too bad. Good little vape.

Overall the fury2 at half the price gets used more.

I am not bashing the GT, I spent my own money on this based on reviews, but every time I go back to it once a week, I walk away a bit disappointed , it's a bit like a vacant supermodel , looks really good on the surface but underneath? A Silicone mouthpiece 3 temperatures no screen for setting temps, airflow which is only acceptable after you pull out the standard mesh, all this sounds like a budget vape , not a premium one?
