Ditanium vaporizer

Est. 2013- Never Lookin' Back
Kinda want one of these. @DITANIUM VAPOR should think about a different knob for the bamboo model.

Just curious why just the bamboo model?
If it is just due to no marks- None of the woods seem to have marks on the nobs.

I've seen all the review's from the popular reviewers. I was more interested in what the buzz is from average civilian users.

Makes sense.

Ah- this is the site I found besides Sneekey Pete that has more woods and finishes options.
https://enailvaporizer.com

Wow, yeah those hardwood ones look much nicer and the knobs look great. I was only looking at the bamboo or black options at PIU.

All of a sudden, this unit is locked and loaded in my VAS sights.
The exotics do look amazing, but the price for those has just made the sale price at PIU for the basic Bamboo that more appealing.

Performance wise how is this unit a step up from say a supersurfer?

For flower, I think they're similar. The two biggest differences for me are the aesthetics and dabs. Aesthetics are personal so I won't go there. But all the dab solutions I've come across for the Surfer have lacked any real oomph. (There might be something just released I haven't tried, but I can't remember.) The dabs on the Ditanium are legit, and it's also good at double-deckers (dabs over herbs in the same hit).

Is there a comfortable temp for doing one or the other, or both at the same time? Say, if it were left on for an extended period for the day like a log, can I walk up and have either way at that temp. Or does each prefer a different temp?
The colored Titanium hand wands on their site look awesome and have me considering a Black unit with a dark Blue Ti wand.
@DITANIUM VAPOR any black Friday discounts happening on your site this Friday or sooner? :brow::cool:

My usage range is from noon to 3 on the dial. I asked Randy what his fave temp was for double-deckers and I think it was around 1 or 2 (can't remember), but it was where I like flowers by themselves...so, yes, you could leave it around 2 and do anything you want. This confused me at first. I thought dabs would be 3 and up and flowers around noon, based on my other box vape use. Instead, 3 was way up there for the dab. The dish sits right on top of the element, while the flowers are further from the heater down the Ti connector joint. I think you could do what you want with minor adjustments, and probably play with it enough to find your sweet spot for all three uses.

We are a custom shop and would prefer to make all hardwood units but not everyone wants to pay that increased cost. We can easily get you an upgraded knob. The bamboo is our base model without extra bells and whistles increase the cost. We have metal and hardwood knobs available.

This is a power house vape unit right here. Billowing cloud machine with flower and like @stickstones said, the dabs on this are legit. Stacked dabs through some flower and holy shit I was floored. If a FP hits harder, I don't need it. This is perfect for me cause I like using a bubbler now and then, it's just not something I like having to break out all the time.
Well done @DITANIUM VAPOR

This is the vape i want. I wanted an Herbalizer .Glad I waited. I wanted/still want an Evo. I sometimes want a Volcano but since I have the Extreme Q i i can already do bags but Im pretty sure I need this one. Yep Need it

Hi Ramahs .I see you have a Surfer too. I love mine but the temp range makes the Ditanium a step up. Do you have a Ditanium or are you like me and just checking them out? if you do have one how do you feel they compare? Thanks!

Don't have one, but I've been interested in one for a long time.

Maybe sometime next year, as there is another vape I want to add to my collection first.

One week in and the Ditanium has continued to impress. One temperature for either flower, dabbing, or Both stacked keeps it easy to use. I won't leave this on 24/7 like the nano, but for many hours at a time I do.
Have a Santa Cruz Shredder carb cap and just got one of their Cookie Cutter dab tools, which is a nice tool for the goo. I like using the carb cap when doing just flower to restrict a little of the air flow, or it seems to propel the air flow better through the flower.
The flower load stays put covering the surface area better than I thought it would. The suction from your draw keeps it covering the the screen nicely and the toasting of the load is fairly consistent. Does need a stir, but not many cause extraction is pretty fast and thorough.
Consistent, toasty brown ABV shot with a touch of unused to the left.

Thx for all the ditanium input and feedback so far. Keep it coming.

I'm strongly considering getting this model. I currently vape with a Crafty and have used the Mighty as well. Now with legal cannabis in Canada
ban-cha.gif
, I'm looking to add another vaporizer to the collection.

I want a desktop vaporizer because they will give me more durability, an easier-to-clean setup and even better vape production. I'm thinking I want a setup with an e-nail for a top quality concentrate experience (dabs) and something that vapes flower and vapes it well too. I can't find many set-ups like that out there for sale. Flowerpot and the Herborizer look like great comparable options, but they are 2-3X the cost. If there are other vapes that are similarly flexible let me know.

I do like the ditanium wood desktop setup over the Flowerpot and the Herborizer. YMMV. The ditanium has a more subdued look and I worry about the burn hazard even more with the Flowerpot and Herborizer set-ups. I did find a guy who posted about badly burning his hand with a Flowerpot
sad2.gif
. Stuff can happen when someone's really medicated. I want to avoid extreme-heat hazards and it's also why I'm not considering a blow-torch setup. I'd like to avoid being around a blow torch during those times, haha. The Flowerpots and Herborizers are beautiful, premium and effective set-ups though. Super nice.

At this point I don't mind the whip at all. It will be like using the crafty or mighty vapes, which is what I've mostly done. I haven't done water cooling since my more young days. I will probably pick up a water piece to try as well and add to the mix. Is that silicone tubing in the whip a real PITA to clean? How often would one likely want to clean that whip?

So am I missing anything? Something? Is there another vape out there that I should consider? I wouldn't want hardly anything much more expensive than the ditanium.

There's the quartz cover for the ceramic heating element in the nail of the ditanium that is a recommended item for regular replacement. Does anybody have any idea how long the interval would be? Like once a year if used daily? Or like once every 5 years if used daily? I have no idea what the interval would be.

I appreciate any feedback and advice. Cheers

@CANtalk ime, the Herborizer doesn't do dabs as well as the FP or Ditanium, by a long shot. So you can drop that one down the list for what you need. I think you'll like the Ditanium, for all the reasons you mentioned...sounds to me like you've done your research, and I can't think of something else you should consider instead.

Thx for the feedback @stickstones. I just found the VapeXhale Cloud Evo; it looks like a strong contender. I have to do more reading up on it, but so far I see it does great with concentrates and flower and is a safer design with the nail not being as exposed as on the ditanium. I like that safety aspect a lot. But it's also ~ $170 US more to get a VapeXhale with a nice water glass.

Any more feedback?

@CANtalk your post on #68 is a perfect description of my situation and why I want a Ditanium too. Although I have a cpup!e desktops already i want to safely try dabs and what I have doesn't seem powerful enough. I have looked at a few dab specific enails but they are just as expensive and I think the versatility of the Ditanium would be awesome.
@stickstones i just wanted to say thanks for spreading the knowledge in a level headed real world way. I really respect your opinions and recommendations.

I was right there with both of you @YayVap The all in one of the Ditanium really appealed to me, as did not having to rely on a water piece. Mrs Fizz would not appreciate an FP set up, but I could have displayed the Ditanium in the foyer or family room if I wanted. Just an aroma therapy diffuser here folks.
@stickstones and the video Puffitup put out reviewing the Ditanium clinched my decision. Vey glad to have this piece.
@CANtalk I believe the Evo is pure convection with no real nail to dab off. They use the elb and you load the material in that and hot air vapes the load, correct?
I tried my hardest to like dabs in convection type of heating, but always felt it was not using my goo to its fullest potential. Takes a much higher heat than the flower likes so is it's hard to get a balanced dab/flower hit combo. Imo

I’m really glad to see some FC peeps grabbed a Ditanium and are now singing its praises. I got the wrong first impression of this device, thought it was basically a herborizer in a box. It’s very reassuring to know that yet once again, I was wrong. Everything is as it should be.

It really does seem like a great home vape to leave in plain sight, nestled by the sofa perhaps? :brow:

I also didn’t know the Ditanium comes in so many finishes! And different LED colours!

Finally, if SloJim gives his seal of approval (not only herb but also on the concentrate front), that gets my attention. I clearly need to research the Ditanium website further but it is only 110V only isn’t it? Please tell me it’s 110V only! I honestly don’t need anything else for a long time, but you know: VAS!

@CANtalk - The Evo is another one that is great at both, good call - I should have thought of that. for the record, it's a conduction dab. Functionally, a big difference here would be the Ditanium and FP work with both at the same time, whereas the Evo confines you to separate hits. (I'm not including loads of herb with extract mixed in...I'm talking about a true dab over a bowl of herbs, or double-decker.)

Do you actually mean to tell me that you are will not be cured with the acquisition of the marvellous Newvape Flowerpot? :brow:
And here's me thinking that you are finally at the end of the rainbow!
