I think @primitiveorganic is also making stems, some with matching enclosure/case.

Thanks! How could I forget the guy who made that great purple heart and ebony stem/case/stash set that @Squiby picked up recently?

@Winegums, to top off the growing list, for the moment!

I almost included him, but I thought he wasn’t actively making VC stuff right now...is he?

His Etsy shop seems to be all RPG related stuff at the moment, and I remember him saying before that he was shifting his focus at least for a while.

Edit: Added a word I’d missed above.

I still make vapourizer stuff but have gone to private sales and custom requests via direct contact. Etsy didn't want any vapour accessories or parts on their site and no other maker sites support our hobby. If someone really wants something from me I am happy to make it.

I have a question for everyone or anyone, is this a viable vapcap for $50 as well as a 14mmwand for a water pipe? Can it be used alone as a glass stemmed vapcap is what I am asking. Thinking of buying one with the cap and Ti tip.

https://www.ddavemods.com/store/p71/The_VapCap_CUSTOM_Glass_Water_Wand_V2.html

My thought was to grab a Ti tip and cap to try with my M and new pipes IH for $60 at Dynavap website, but, for $50 i can get a glass stem, TI tip, and cap from ddaves. That becomes a 2nd viable cap for use if I am correct. Sadly, if it looks to good to be true, it usually is not true.

Yea... That set Squiby got costs me money too. LOL. Too beautiful.

I'm currently working with him to get a segmented wood stem... Or body?.. I wanna use a DV spinning Titanium mouthpiece and XL condenser with it.... No carb. Ebony and amboyna burl with aluminum accents. Should turn out beautiful.

Cool guy, easy to work with so far and his work speaks for itself. I can't wait to see how mine turns out!

This is definitely an inexpensive way to get in the Dynaverse. I own a dd wand and LOVE it.
The one thing you will not get to experience is having a carb. Some people don’t mind, some do. Without it, the air restriction is significant (unless you are actually using through water).
If you have never tried a Vapcap before, it might be worth the extra $10 to get the M. That way you can try it out to see which works better for you. You can always then order the wand from DD.
But, it definitely will work

My wife prefers our new F2 so I'll be the primary user of our two Shadow Ms. Fine with me, I love them. I've already got parts ordered to mod 'mine', adding a darkwood spinning mp, making it an XL. And now I'm already thinking of modding 'hers', which will basically now be 'mine' also. I'm thinking Ti bits added to the Shadow might be fun. Ti mp, XL condenser and tip would be pretty cool. Hmm...

The Deluxe kits I bought with our Shadows came with Ti screens. Any reason to swap those for the stock SS screens in the Shadows? I'll be cleaning them soon so that'll be the time to do it. Thanks.

@Moses Baca
The Titanium screens give slightly more air flow (tiny difference) but the SS screens hold up better over time.
Also the SS screens are much easier to fit into the smaller bowl positions of the Ti-tips, but that last part is just my opinion.

I love the size of it though. This thing is nice.

Thank you, very much appreciated. I hear that quite often, but it is still a pleasure. :brow:

Seriously: Consider anything from the XL series for your next purchase in the Dynaverse. We all know VAS will get you there... ;) The difference in size can be a nice variation and it is easier to spin and hold in case your hands are bigger, like mine.

Yeah I would love to check out an XL. I'm happy with the size of this but definitely curious.
Just so you aren't surprised, the difference between standard and XL is only 17mm, or the length of a mouthpiece. It IS noticeably longer and easier to spin and hold due to that, but there is no difference in cooling or anything like that. Different but not very different.

Got my Omni today. This thing is tiny! I actually imagined it bigger... I guess I couldn't really judge the scale properly in any videos/pictures... now I can

Yes. I was also a bit shocked at how tiny it was when I got my first M. Then surprised again at the potent vapor output

Ok, so I like I said yesterday, if it's to good to be true then it probably isn't true.

Put my order in for a DDaves Glass custom water wand with Titanium tip and cap for $50, got an email back from DDave telling me he doesn't carry the Ti tips, so I am back to square one.

I want to upgrade to a Titanium tip, and a possible new stem that has no carb. I was hoping to grab one of DDaves glass stems wit the tip and cap, that would give me two fully functional caps and the ability to try different configs to see what (if anything) I might be missing.

So the Dynavap costs for a Ti tip and cap is $60, but I am still w/o a body/stem/condenser. So being new in the Dynaverse, I am hoping some vet 'cappers can suggest a new config with a TI tip that won't cost me more then the $180 that getting an Omnivap from Dynavap would put me out. I was hoping for glass as I would think that would be a cool thing to see the vapor moving up the stem during sessions, but I am not opposed to wood. As I said, I would like to try carbless, but that's not a deal-breaker either as I can always just use tape to cover the carb for experimenting purposes. I don't own glass, and I don't foresee getting any at this point of my life either. So any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Just order a Ti tip from Dynavap and a water wand from DDave

So, I'm not sure where you are getting confused but if you order a Ti tip and a cap from DV ($60 plus shipping) and a DDave glass wand for $12 plus shipping, you are in to about $82 delivered. That is pretty reasonable I think if that is what you are wanting. If money is a concern I think you don't really need an Omni. It only provides a little convenience over regular VCs.

Oops, I see @Mikey beat me to it.

Thanks for the responses, I am not getting confused except for the the wording on my DDaves order. It said that Ti tip ad cap were included with custom water wand. It wasn't, that where my confusion starts and ends.

I understand buying the water wand from DDave and then the tip and cap from Dynavap, is still a very cheap and viable option. Now that my purchasing momentum has been stopped, I thought I would ask what other options might be available that I might not know about. I probably wasn't clear enough in my post as to what I was asking. It seems everyday I read this thread, I find another manufacturer of stems, water pipes, whatever for the 'cap. Just thought I would check to what I didn't know that all of you know.

Again, thanks for your response.

Sorry, what do you want? Glass or no glass?
And why would you get 'two fully functional caps' if buying a DDave glass stem (water wand) with one tip and cap?

And as @DDave announced on his site:

announcements:
[December 4th, 2018]

Happy Holidaze from DDave!

New in the DynaVap section of this website, the Original Water Wands and Custom Water Wands are now available with DynaVap VapCap Caps and Stainless Steel Tips (o-rings and screen too!).

Why don't you just buy a @DDave water wand + custom water wand + water piece + 'M' + water piece for $99
+ ti tip+cap for $60 at DV?

Then you'd have

- 1x ss tip + cap
- 1x ti tip + cap
- 1x M body with with a regular condenser and a carb hole
- 2x different water wand w/o carb+condenser
- 1x (good working) water piece on top.

I guess that would be enough mix+match for the beginning.

And for additional $25 you also get an XL condenser + spinning mouthpiece to modify your M to a XL version.
Would sum up to just $184.

How about using the DynaBuilder from the DV website? Ti spinning mp (not Omni), Ti Omni body, Ti tip = $135, includes a cap.

...you forgot the condenser. And my sum of that configuration is $150. And he'd just have 1 device.
