You saw that the black ones are currently the new style, right? I'm guessing they'll run some sort of promo when they officially introduce the new style.

I ordered some colored ones. Email says they're on the way!

Hello Everyone.

The New JYARZ Classic is on JYARZ.com. The improvements boil down to:

1. Child proof cap option (Screw Cap available in Black as well) - NOTE: This child proof cap is not for the faint of grip strength. If you have arthritis or any such thing probably better to stick with the screw cap!!!
2. Tougher design - this thing is pretty bomb proof - I like to say that if Yeti designed a cannabis container this would be it!
3. Bottle and cap come in Black and White and soon Grey. You can add color via silicone sleeves - not only does it add color - they feel great in hand and they make them even more bomb proof!
4. We printed sleeves with strain labels as well: Blue Dream, OG Kush, Girl Scout Cookie, Sour Diesel and Green Crack to start. I imagine this group will be asking for other strains as well ;-)
5. For any brands out there, we envision printing custom branded sleeves as well. We have a few partners for whom we've already started that process.

If you have any interest in this new offering please take a look at the links on the homepage @ JYARZ.com.

Thanks for your support along the way...as always.

I ordered a few Jyarz on the black friday sale. I thought I was going to get one of the new classics when I ordered black. But the black classic I got only had a new cap and not the new bottom with the o-ring design. I also got a couple chico's too.

You actually got the new Classic in black. if you compare the old and new bottles you'll see that the new bottle is thicker with a stronger "shoulder." Only the new Child Proof Cap comes with the red o-ring. The o-ring forms the initial seal (second seal is inside - where gasket meets glass) between the cap and bottle. This change was required because of the nature of the child proof cap locking action.

And the black Classic we sent you can accept the new silicone sleeves:

I'm very proud of the work on the New Classic with Child Proof cap along with the silicone sleeves. The previous version was pretty tough but these little babies are truly tough and the action on the child proof cap took a long time perfect. This child proof cap is unique (as far as I know) because of the use of an o-ring to form a seal at the bottom edge of the cap...makes it far more odor and water proof than traditional child proof mechanism. And the action of opening and closing it just feels good in the hand ...in my humble opinion.

Then when you add the silicone sleeve ... it just completes the package. Once people start buying these out in the world I think they are going to covet this little container. Stylish, tough, functional....they are a little more expensive but I'm 100% confident the price is worth every penny!

And, when you purchase a new Classic on JYARZ.com you'll automatically get a 50% offer on the sleeves. Trust me (actually you have to trust me there's a 100% satisfaction guarantee - which I've had to fill less than 5 times in over 4 years) you'll love this product! ;-)

Happy Holidays Everybody!

Thanks JyARz for explaining your new Classic setup. Now I understand the concept and design.

For the labeled skins.....It would be nice to have Indica, Hybrid, Sativa for choices too...that way you don't have to make 500 different ones and one label could be generating much higher sales and usage over strain specific ones. Just a thought....

Thanks again for making the best containers for my flowers!

Aloha Aldo,

Great to see the new products.

You mentioned the silicon sleeves might be personalized. Can you tell us more about that?

Like, do we need to order a certain number, or can you personalize just one? What would the cost be?

And please, make a 'Fuckcombustion' sleeve, please?

Love how the jyarz have been 'updated'. Only one little thingy, I really do not like the newer logo... When showing the new and old logo's to my friends here they almost al prefered the old logo ... Any posibility to still get the old design? Or are all new jyarz branded with the new logo?

At this point it wouldn't be cost effective to print just one sleeve. An FC sleeve is a cool idea, I presume someone has the trademark or copyright. Would anyone here know whom to contact to explore the idea a little? How many members on FC?

We are definitely transitioning to the new logo and over time all containers will carry it. I'm sorry you and friends don't like it. Candidly the name (and how to pronounce it) is mystifying to most people so I'm trying to simplify the issue by at least using a simple font. I know that it probably feels more commercial and mainstream so we give up some of the funky vibe of the old logo but I would love for JYARZ to be in more people's hands and I think a simple and more approachable brand and overall look and feel might help at least a little.

And I hope when we "grow up" we become recognized as being like the Yeti of pot. So the new logo is inspired by that company.

Thx for explanation.

So what would be the minimum ammount of jyarz one should order to be able to ask for custom sleeves?

And... thanks to jyarz I have NOT used about 200 little plastic baggies for every year I have been using them. They are still one of my favorite things to introduce fellow admirers of the plant too.

@Moses Baca - you got the VAS (and related products) BIG TIME!!
Good choice on Jyarz!
Personally, I use them for my grinded herbs. I pre-grind a week or so worth of each strain and keep each strain in a separate Chico Jyarz. I write the strain on scotch tape, on lid. I always have some ready to go.
Enjoy them!
