Boundless Tera

It looks like they are but there's no tera accessories listed on their site as yet. Worth dropping them an email if you're interested. I might but I just had to pay a bit out due to an emergency. Sucks. Might be my christmas treat to myself. Thanks for that.

Ok so I either have the worst luck or am doing something really stupid

Go to fire up the Tera today and forgot about it so came back a few minutes later and it was off as to be expected. Fired it up again and now it won't heat up! Slowly heats a bit to - but at the 1 minute mark it's only at 60 degrees. Shuts itself off after 5 minutes with a max temp of 96. This happens in both concentrate and dry herb modes

Before I fire off a tersely worded email, is this user error? Do I do some magical sequence of key presses to put it in "turtle" mode?

You have very bad luck, I cannot see how it could be your fault, did you try the 5 clicks on/off toggle, battery removal and wait a couple of minutes etc.

yep - turned off, fresh batteries, 5 clicks to turn on, one click for 3 seconds to start heating - the roasting dish blinks a few time and the time start rising....slowly.

Sigh - Eric is helping out again but it's a bit frustrating to say the least...

@LesPlenty which portable did U say to get?
It sure is, PIU had 35% off so only US$140 or so, get in touch with Randy he might still give you the good price as the sale has probably just ended.

I thought you would have tried all, just checking.
It sure is bad luck, it is worth persevering though as it is a great unit!:myday:

What's up guys and gals, another Tera mod this time using the Crossing Tech Poseidon bubbler. I used the stock gasket and an old school bong downstem grommet to make connection. I then used PTFE tape to make the diameter bigger for a better seal with the glass. I use a silicone jar lid to complete the suction and to be able to clear the bubbler. Through a water pipe wit the WPA is still the best way but I honestly like this method better then using a hydrotube for on the go or just more discreet occasions.

*You have to press down lightly to make the seal with the silicone jar lid.

Been loving mine un the FC Rattlecan bong, even more since I ditched the native wpa filter and just screw on a Vapexhale ELB top hat (after a bit of stretching) or any 16/12nn top hat screen like the Arizer towers use in it's place for much better airflow. The old CF/x mod gave me that idea.:myday:

MacGyver strikes again. Fully magnetic this time! The Tera Solo

has anyone done this with one of the arizer micro bubblers? also how do you take out the glass/metal ring? and if anyone uses any arizer stem like this throught the magenetic frame, this pic doesn't seem to use the silicone ring? is anyone able to use these kinda stems like this ? and without the silicone grommet part?

thinking of getting some arizer stems to try this with this way by passing it through the magnetic lid, thnk I would prefer this rather than just jamming it into the silicone grommet and wedging it in there.

edit: ah woops... back to back

This is awesome. I was thinking about something like this but has anyone tried using any of the healthyrips fury2 stems? I don't have an HR or any arizer portables, but does anyone know how those stems compare size wise?

the fury2 has a bubbler that looks like this one you used, but I'm not sure about adapting the stem size and I'm not sure if it has enough clearance between the body and the water chamber.

man if someone had a tera and the HR fury2 bubbler thing and wanted to give it a go that would be awesome.

this is the stem i'm talking about.

You made me buy a Tera :brow:

I am thinking about buying this Bubbler:

Do you think it will fit?
& how did you apply the PTFE Tube to make the diameter bigger, can i have a closer look? The bong downstem grommet is made of silicone?

Hello everyone, I made this account just to comment on this thread after a long time lurking here haha. I'm impressed with my Tera, always give me monster hits through the bong every time, it's been heavily used since I purchased it 5 months ago.

However, mine's battery seems abnormal lately, it'll shows on the screen that it has 50% left, and when I hold the heating button it'll flash the low battery icon then turn off. Is it normal for 18650s to behave like this after 5 months? I always use an outside charger to charge them by the way.

Thank you for spending your time reading this, Merry Christmas everyone!

I'd say they pretty normal if it's had heavy use for 5 months. Battery capacities degrade with charging and use. I guess you could try charging them through the tera. Some chargers/circuits will have different tolerances so it's probably worth seeing what they're like with a full in tera charge.

Is it just the battery indicator that flashes? I've had the oven symbol flash 5 or 6 times, the unit didn't even try to heat up though.

Merry Christmas
