never wanted to beat that one ;)
@Semicolon drawbacks of lowering wattage would be slightly longer heat up time as mentioned and also it can get hard for the tubo to keep up on high temps with strong draws.
This is pretty logical but also empirical ;)
I set mine to 60 which already helped, some use less and are still happy.

Hello People. Can anyone let me know if the D020-D bubbler works with the tubo evic?

Can anyone confirm if the D020-D bubbler work with the (base 00 - plain beech round) base on site lamart.ch ,(cork adapter) aroma accessory on site lamart.ch

If someone can let me know if the tubo evic, cork adapter, base 00-plain beech round, is compatible with the D020-D I would appreciate it. Waiting to buy the D020-D or the D020 if the D020-D is not compatible.

Yessir =) and same with the D020-X if you want that style.

Edit: Opps not the cork lol but the size of the D020 is a bit of an illusion from the pictures on DH if you ask me. I thought the 18mm D020 would be a MUCH bigger unit (its nothing small but you get the point) than it is

@Rollingstoned Well i guess sometimes life present it unexpected hurdles to everyone.. As we all know TUBO manufacturing is a one man show(NOT a company,IMO it is the companies with numerous employees and big budgets that have spoiled many of the users with their top quality service) ,who also has to run the online shop, manufacturing process (which involves a lot of activities) ,e-mail/forum communication. Also my memory might be playing me tricks but FJ has an eductation to tend to and also another job ?
I cannot really say if his business has reached the level at which he can afford to hire someone for customer support around the clock.. ,but i would at least cut him some slack having in mind the pleada of things he has on his head.IMO many people around the world are spoiled by the excelent customer service offered by the bigger com
If anyone has any tubo related issues ,feel free to PM me, i am no expert but i have experience with both TUBO and TUBOx, so i will be glad if i can be of help.

It really isn't that bad man but don't get me wrong im not contradicting you, just that between adveetising, importing materials, building, ordering more parts, dealing with social media, and all that is a lot for someone.

I ordered an Apollo and even when he does get back to you Finnish is absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to translate into most other languages even fluently. It came down to caveman talk between he and I at the end; I had to sit down and think of the most simple terms to get my point across in as few, yet common, words. On my Imgur account under the same username I have my Solid Pine with an Acacia Stem. Looks amazing.

Hey quick question for all my fellow OCD'ers in the thread: How do you do light cleaning your TUBO? Theres no dark spots from ABV or anything noticable, inside or out, but I just like to clean it off before going over it with beeswax and I usually do so whenever I feel that slight smoothness go away.

I did order Pine, looks very clean!
Yes indeed Ralph is a very busy man, amazing product thats why we are all here. Im sure he will touch up on the customer service aspect, i was just comparing a small artisan company to a multibillion dollar company (Storz) without understanding the truth behind.
Excited to get my second unit :science:

Does it the d020-D work with the base? I just checked the site says cork works with d020-D.

So my last question would be is the D020-D compatible with base 00 plain beech round base on lamart.ch site

Were there any other "Solid" Wood units? I love the look of a lot of the wood choices but I really want them to but entirely made from one material (as far as the wood goes)

You can select poplar + plain from the drop down options - I think that will result in a poplar + poplar box. But I would just PM @funkyjunky here about your requirements for your aesthetic, and discuss. I am opposite- I got teak, but prefer the contrasting edges, so am discussing options relating to that and some other custom work for my box with him. When you make the order there are 2 places for custom notes to seller- you could also mention your preferences there and he will get back to you regarding things.

It’s has officially been an entire month since my Tubo was marked shipped and still no package. Located on the East Coast USA. Ralph will you let me know if you get my package returned shipped back to you? Thank you

Maybe @funkyjunky could tell how much you can safely adjust that 510 center pin? As I really think you are on the right track. And it doesn't necessarily take much (and as I said earlier, too much can also be detrimental, even if it sounds counter-intuitive at first, when you dig deeper into the contact resistance topic it makes more sense)
One cable is soldered to the center pin and the other cable is soldered to the outer part. I can definitely notice the curve of the cables changing as I turn the center pin. I could probably adjust it more but I'm holding off for when the adapters I ordered get here.

I think that just means that you want the plain colored wood as in no added color, The box is a completely separate order, or at least there's no way to add one from the eVic page itself (I totally should have picked up one during the 2YTUBO sale!!) I think once the trauma of the holidays pass I might try for TUBOx or another eVic so thanks for the heads up on the customization process.

Hey can anyone let me know what bubbler this is in the video?

is it the D020-D or another product?

Yes this is the D020-D. In some of his other videos he has the D020 regular which I really enjoy but im sure they both work great.

Ah- did you mean the little storage box? Apologies- I got confused. I do not know if those can be customized, but could not hurt to inquire. I still need to get one of those with some stems soon. Right now I'm in communications with @funkyjunky regarding the design we are discussing. I hear you on the trauma from the holidays! I'm considering getting a FLAM at some point myself, but feel the need to learn about glass options prior, if I am to do so.

Just so Dab HAppy!
Can anyone help lead a horsr to water here? I am trying to figure out cruise control. Is ther an instruction on how to add this feature and use it? I already downloaded the myevic.bin firmware update and its on the device, but I cannot figure out how to use cruise control.

Cruise is usually a double click on the fire button to start, and single click to stop again. So set temp and you're away.
There are some eco cruise* settings that you can select from the menu, but I don't remember exactly the button combo to get to that. I'll double check later.

* eco settings will drop the temp between draws in cruise by a set amount of degs in the hope of saving a bit of battery, rather than running the set temp throughout the cruise session...

Pretty sure you can adjust the length of the cruise session too, but I'd have to check, as I've never changed it from default.

Yes try the most recent version.
Also to configure the way to start cruise (I.e. The number of clicks) you go into options (+ & power) > interface > clicks.
There you can set which click starts what.
Under options > vaping you can set the time and ecolevel (amount of reduced heating).

You notice that it works when a progress bar appears after double click (or whatever you set it to).

Option paths may be slightly different, can't check right now.

Good luck!

Just received my dual battery evic! What a beauty :love:The pick holder at the side has fallen of  is there any way i can attach it back on safely? Was thinking of buying gorilla wood glue

Edit: all done!

Awesome man, super jealous =D.
Did FJ make a duel batch recently? Only reason I ask other than this comment is I recieved my order in a eVic Duel box but it could be coincidence.

@funkyjunky has not made a batch, at least not since Aug/Sept '18?
From what little I understand, since they surfaced during my hiatus from collecting vapes, (as have many of the vapes I have been urgently catching up on- both educating myself in general, and pouncing on to enjoy personally.) the Tubo Evic Dual was a short/small run, possibly experimental (and my guess - Disclaimer: totally personal opinion here! Is that the Dual might have been in response to the RBT Zion) Version of the Evic. There was a Tubo Evic Dual up in the classifieds within the last few weeks.

Hi, need a little help..
I recently started to notice that even when i’m at 50% battery,
I get little notices of “weak battery”,
Throughout the eco cruise use.
It’s probably a hardware bug eh?

Oh thats not too long ago at all. Interesting that i've never had the urge to buy a milaana or a Zion, something about a depression switch turned me off about the Milaana and the Zion was like $400 wasn't it? Yeah I saw that but that got pounced on like cats in heat and It was only like 8 hours old before I saw it and it was long gone haha. I will need AT LEAST one more TUBO; God Forbid anything happen to Lamart or Ralph that stopped production would cause me to take the TUBO, my home daily driver, out of the lineup and it's just too good of a unit to know that I won't have a usable one come 20yrs later or something like that lol.

First party foul for the eVic: stepped on a top hat and flattened it. It worked fine after I straightened it out but the crimps...THE CRIMPS!! Im just OCD is all lol.

How old are your cells? The older they get the higher their internal resistance, which in turns makes the voltage sag more and more under load. The weak battery message appears when the sag is too important.

Technically speaking, the increase in IR is like having the CDR rating of your cell going down. So a brand new 20A cell will age and become eventually 18A, then 15A etc... There's a similar drop in capacity over time too. These cells are only rated for 300-500 cycles depending on what criteria the manufacturer selects for his specs. At one charge per day an average cell will not last much more than a year before getting seriously worn.

Note that they still work past the 300 cycles mark, but capacity is low and they sag a lot. Better to refurbish them for lower power applications at that point, like small LED flash-lights etc. (provided they have protection circuits of course, as our flat top cells have none)

@Azn2101 The Sole reason I quote that date, is due to that being when I started tracking the drops in earnest preparing to purchase my Evic. I truly have no idea when his run of duals happened. (I bought my initial vapes around 2013-2014- the "recent" of those being The Firewood 2 and until Aug 2018 only lurked here and there, until Aug '18)

I got my Milaana 2 just as RBT was changing gears, but I recall when the Zion was released.
I was very curious about it- but having to designate a pair/pairing batteries is a turn off for me- (so the Tubo Evic Dual and 7th Floor Sidekick I will also likely have to pass on) My Milaana is on its way this week. I recall RBTs beginnings- but for both some personal reasons, along with my finding site navigation problematic, held off. -Also, at the time, I was still very biased in favor of my butane experience- Which I still love, but due to other health problems in my household, my butane vapes are shelved until I can find a silent torch. I truly hear you about the fear of breakage- One of the reasons I tried for the longest time to stick to my Vapman + Lotus...was practically in tears when my FW2 bricked!

My current organizational obsession is trying to find ways to code storage for parts (stems and screens especially) that will help me remember what goes with what model. in 4 months- I have expanded my quiver from 2-3 (FW2 Bricked out a few years ago)to 17, with more on my list, and 2 currently incoming.
