180 hits per gram (with Purple Days)
$17.14 a gram x3.5 = $60.00
180 hits > $17.14 = $0.11 per hit = 84% less than Da Buddha (using Pappy's numbers) ;)

but........I get more per hit with the Buddha, so it throws that shit all off, kinda.

lol man thats smart:p I never thought about doing that! im gunna try and c how long a g last me n check out my costs! I gotta buddha too... seems like the purple days is may more efficient? ill have to get my buddy to try it with his v tower too!!

lol I thought about something! does your first few hoots potentially cost more:p cause it is a stronger vapor... it gets kinda "poochy" at the end! and thats some expensive buds u guys got! the most I pay is 280 300 for absolute killers! Us canadians know how to grow :)

how many hits to a session?

session=number of hits taken to get high, on average

a session with my SSV is a different number of hits than my MZ, which is different than my LB.

cost per session will be a more even comparison, i think. or maybe im ripped :/

yeah its stupid... our dispensary prices here in canada are a little high... well for the quality... its not the greatest... can kind better on the street! but dispensary eerrl is where its at!

OK, I admit to always being jealous of the nice (and expensive!) stuff you guys talk about getting, but I just figured up what my ordinary BTN (Better Than Nothing) costs me, in my part of "flyover country", using Pappy's measure of 18 hits to a gram -- $140/oz. -- $5 a gram -- 27 cents per vapor hit in my DBV. :D

Ive tried to keep count but for me its like licking a tootsie pop to get to the center but forgetting and messing up the count. hehe.

It would be very cool if we could make a "generalized/estimated" cost per session/hit for different vaporizers with mid and high grade material for people to see when considering vapes. An awesome tool that could be if.

For me......2 to 4, depending on if I'm hitting my PD through a bong or hitting it directly from the tube.

The Skywalker I'm smoking now if like 3-4 hits and I takes a rest. And I have extremely high tolerance! A more commercial grade may take 5 or 6 hits.
My Da Buddha wand delivers about 6 tokes a fill (.3g). The Cyclone Bowl on my EQV delivers about 18 hits for .6g fill.

Yeah, I LOVE Skywalker. Currently have about 1 and half grams left of it. Just mixed a bit of it with a bit of Jack Herer. Very nice combo. While it's nice to smoke a strain straight, making a salad is a super nice change and at times, the sum can be better than the parts.

man, i get a lot more out of .3g than 6 hits on my ssv. they might not be as big as the ones youre getting though i guess. i like to start low and work my way up in temp, getting visible but easily-held hits. I get over 10 at least, and I'm pretty sure usually on less than .3.

And 5-6 hits of what i'd call medium-high grade has been doin me in lately. I look at it more like, .3g can get me vaked for about 4 hours. So thats under a buck an hour, and thats pretty nice. Comparatively, i would have to smoke 1-2g of the same stuff to get the same duration of stonediness (yes, thats right).

At least it all cheaper than trying to maintain an alcohol buzz. Went out for the 4th for a few hours and ended up spending about $60 on rum. When i left i was like "fuck, that could have been a quarter and lasted me a couple weeks...". Totally irrelevant really, but fresh on my mind.

I may use a little less than.3g. But you hit the nail on the head as to why you get a few more tokes. I start vaking at 12 o'clock on my DBV and the first 4-5 hit are thick milky blue vapor clouds that produce unbelievable streams of mist. Not unusual to burp a cloud five minutes after I put down my wand. :lol:
I take DBV from 12 to to 3 o'clock progressively. If I started at say 10 o'clock I'd probably get a few faint mini hits but that ain't what I'm after. ;)

There is nothing of which I'm more fond than a freshly cleaned vaporizer wand.

Holy cows lwein, you gotta be the tightest person on this forum, bud wise anyway. Your daily doses would barely get the coffee perkin around here. Would be neat if we all had some kind of a cumulative meter going telling us how many TONS of MJ we have gone through over the years.
The heat is a comin finally to the Pacific Northwest.

I am? Is getting ripped on 3 to 4 hits really all that unusual? And I vape every single night, but only about 3 hours before I go to sleep. Is it the 3 to 4 hits to get ripped uncommon, or is it the vaping once a night uncommon?
