It looked like it is sealed with that orange tape. I will keep making the black cloth test. Sofar even the vacuum cleaner didnt manage to pull any dust off it.
Just did a session with it ,taste is ok. Especially for a first session..
What really dissapointed me is that the top metal plate paint is potential chipping hazard. It washed away really easily with alcohol. The paint littery dissolved in seconds while i was cleaning it with a soaked gauze.. I removed all the paint now it is bright and shiny,but the hell if i was going to have that around my bowl. I tested the paint at various points of the device,nowhere is else it dissolves like it does with the top plate. I will throw some pictures lately sadly quality isnt good cause all i had is an old phone :).
I plan on giving this unit to someone in need,after i break it in ofcourse. He plans to use it as daily driver. I can take photos of dissasembly once it has seen some operation if you like.
I am really paranoid by nature ,and if there was any dust present i would have never inhaled trough this device. At the condition it is now,i can say it is ok,minus the paint thing..

Damn this device can deliver some serious clouds.. and battery life seems pretty decent for a 18650.
I am using it only with water filtration sofar,i am paranoid to use it dry sofar,also the MP seems to get unreasonably hot. The shape is PIA to clean.. material looks awesome though... They really need to make it rounder and a bit longer.

Saw it a super low price (65 Euros, newsletter rebate deducted) and couldn't resist. Regular price here is 90ish and I was looking for something small and fast for on the road that wouldn't need to be recharged every 3-4 sessions, so it really came down to the Fog. Frankly, I guess even after all the debate on safety and whatnot, I would have used my old one if I hadn't bricked it. The price/performance ratio alone would have been great, but it's quite unique in the sum of great characteristics: small, stylish, sturdy, fast, great for microdosing, widely available and cheap replacement battery.

@Hammahead Good catch ! I am still gathering my thoughts about this one but soon i plan to post a detailed review. I just opened it after 50 days of use and there is no dust. Mine should be from their laterst batch ,idk if this makes any difference.
Sofar the only negative i can say about the performance is the restrictive airflow.. ,still a lot better than the vapcap ,but can be a pain in the ass with big WTs. Other than that i can say that this one is clearly a winner for the price .. The quality of build is far better than the weecke vapes ,also it has replaceable battery but also provides a nice number of sessions per charge.
Fog production is up there with the desktops. It doesnt char even at highest heat setting. Level 3 brings enough clouds but still has decent taste,it also is enough for complete extraction cause if i rip it till vapor stops at level 3 and then bump it up to 5 ,i get zero visible vapor and that unpleasant popcorn taste.
I wish there the heating chamber was designed to be dissasembled for deep cleaning cause.herb dusts falls done on the heater and it produces unpleasant popcorn smell when turned on.

I would be interested to hear how you guys clean your Fog.
I usually clean my Fog after 1 to 3 sessions by pulling out the plastic and metal screen inside the top rubber gasket. I place these screens (not the gasket) into Isoprop alc for a few min and then clean them with a cloth. The mouthpiece is a bit more tricky though. About every 5 sessions i take it off and also place in Isprop. Then i use a small pipe cleaner to clean to mouthpiece opening, but can't get the pipe cleaner all the way through, so the "bent" part is difficult to reach/clean.

Love this vape ! Actually sold my Crafty last week as i got a new one from S&B after my case cracked. Now hoping S&B will bring out a new Crafty in the next 6 to 12 months with a replaceable battery. In the mean time, my Fog is my goto vape. (plus my Ghost, Flowermate Nano V5, Ariser Solo and the king.. Volcano)

There isnt plastic screen it is Zirconia. I use a pipe screen on top of my load pressing down to the bottom of the heating chamber.That way i dont get herb particles in the big holes. I dissasemble the whole top lid and dip all in ethanol. Then i use pincers and hair dryer to purge the alcohol.
I wish the mechanism for the moutpiece removal wasnt that finnicky,it is very easy to scratch the anodizadion and create shavings ,i actually bent mine a bit inwards so it comes off easily.

Happy to see there is finally some love around this vape. I started to think my judgement is not good cause some bad feedbacks although I still think it's a very nice vape, mostly convection with enough conduction to shortened enough the sessions. Taste is nice until level 3 and fade quickly at levels 4&5 but give you combustion like clouds.

Where I love it is the microdosing ability, true microdoses (look at a pic posted by another member a fezw pages before) with great cloud sizing and efficiency. After this Fog I can say I'm anticipating at hell the!ir next convection based device!
The restricted airflow is annoying but it's needed in order to don't overwhelmed the heater (it's still possible with a long and intense draw).

About cleaning, I put a screen on the top of my load slightly tamped on the bottom of the heating chamber to avoid to get herb species on the zirconia screen, like that I only have to wipe it just after a session with some coton I can vape later (after a few wipes) and, sometimes, I have to remove excess reclaim from the zirconia mp with the provided noodle tool (this reclaim looks very nice!). Every few weeks I disassemble the whole mp just after a session while still hot and wipe quickly most of the parts with coton and after that I throw the silicone part and zirconia screen in a iso bath and wipe again the rest with a iso soaked coton ball. After that you are good to go!

i find it very air flow restricted , but i was too used to the project ( @Pipes ) but i do like it , i do the same trick of the screen over the load do avoid the ceramic screen of the mouthpiece get block by the herb faster , i do brush it after every reaload

I just found out that 14mm male fits the herb chamber perfectly. What i do is load the fog's chamber ,put a screen on top of the load and instead of closing the lid , i place the opening of the herb chamber on top of the gong and rip it. That way you get better airflow and no silicone in the airpath. Please try it if you have one on hand.. This vape just feels better with every use. Great value for the price also very pure taste with the gong adapter,heatup time is between 10-15 seconds with a VTC6 :o . I am getting zero cough milky rips at 2nd heat level.. I agree with PPN that it is great for microdosing and also will add that it is one of the most efficient vapes out there.It manages to extract everything without popcorn taste is easyily avoidable if you dont go higher than 3 :).

I will try to take some but just insert the male glass 14mm into the chamber hole while the lid is open. I put screen on top of the herb to contain the particles.This is all needed for better WP rips.
There is a tiny silicon ring which is meant to make seal with the MP screen but it also works great with the 14mm.

No stealing here, I wouldn't have done this without your discovery, so let's agree on open source ;)

Don't you think there's a certain kind of specific stoner ingenuity? Like you _know_ this part will fit here and you never throw away any adapter, o-ring, screen, basket of any vaporizer you ever owned, because so often you have used some random thing out of your pool of things to make the perfect kludge...

I can't really suggest a good place to buy batteries,because i buy mine locally. But if you are in the market for new batteries... dont get those .. Get Sony VTC5/6 series (I have VTC5A and can say it blows the stock battery out of the window.. )A Here below is a list of batteries that probably will have better performance than the 26J
My top choices would be
1 Sony VTC 5/6 series
2 HG2 LG
3.Samsung 30q
I only speak from experience.I havent tried them all.

Yesterday I noticed while unloading a bowl that something was wrong... the mp top lid magnet slipped out of its place and was magnetised on the bowl's edge and when I tried to put it back in place I inserted it in the wrong way with enough force to get it stuck here :doh: since it's the wrong way it doesn't fits totally (ton of air leaks) AND the magnet repulse from the bowl area (and doesn't attract), my bad! I wasn'rt able to get it out using pliers, big magnets, I even tried to heat this part to get enough room to take it out but nothing work...
So I'll have to follow the @Abysmal Vapor 14mm male joint trick for now, it's a shame cause the Fog was my favourite for some on the go thick hits but with the glass it will be an at home vape now.
Is somebody have an idea how to remove the top lid without to break things (i.e is it possible to remove the tiny thing) or how to take the magnet out...? TIA

I went back from @Hammahead tech back to just putting a screen on top of the herb,because otherwise it falls of when i remove the vape from the stem. My WT doesnt have a carbhole ,so it is adds comfortability when i can remove the fog at any time.
Btw i discovered that the concetrate mesh pad, fits into arizer screen cup and it works really good with some of my vaporizers,that use gong bowls. :).
