Thanks, @HealthyRips.com! I recall seeing the Fury 2 bubbler on your site before, which is why I mentioned it along with the WPA. Definitely great options. And thanks for letting us know about the Black Friday deals. Understandably I guess, and sadly for me, none are applicable for the Fierce which I'm pining for a bit, just a bit. We shall see...:peace::\

This piece looks nice. I wish they would of encased the bottom half in plastic so I couldn't wiggle it and accidentally break the glass. 6 inches of air passage in a 3 inch package is very nice. Anyone try it yet?

I think I just had the biggest hit of my life! OMG!(Or, as some of us would say, Oy Vay!) I use my F2 mainly for outdoor stuff these days. The dosing caps make it the best small form electronic vape I've yet seen. Great traveler too, with pre-loads in their little centrifuge vials. At home its a Crafty or a VapCap, both of which are capable of amazing hits, consistently, gloriously. Honestly, I've never had a Volcano, so I may not know what I'm talking about. But tonight I was coming off a cold and so didn't want to use the VC and I intentionally ran my Crafty down and wanted to give it a decent recharge. So I pulled out my F2 , the water attachment, and my Sneaky Pete's little water bubbler. And then I mostly use my F2 at 375 and then crank it up to 400 or so for a final hit or two. This time I started it at 405. Shocking, I know. Instead of five or seven hits, all gone in two or less than three. Strange Meadowlark. GSC.

It's "oy vey" back in the old country but perhaps there's a Canadian derivation. Canadians can be funny that way :).

Is it me or am I enjoying my Fury more using it backward with the standard mouthpiece? I noticed this the other day after having it a couple of months, and it's my daily vape (and loving it BTW). In other words, I draw with the display facing away from me as I find it's easier to hold on to casually and when I don't have to be discrete, otherwise it fits very well in my large hands facing forward in a more stealth mode. I think performance is the same either way but just a general personal observation. And the fact that the Fury is amazing for its size, price, dosing capsules, etc...:peace:

Anybody receive their bubbler mouthpiece yet? That new one looks cool. I tend to not fuck with them because I get annoyed trying to get the last bit of water out. I'm curious if folks find it significantly cooler than the bent stem.

I wish HR would make a water bubbler which is integrated to the body of the Fury; one
that fits form. And function.

Would be a dandy. Fine candy.

Look good, too.

I am not blowing smoke.

While I haven't tried it yet (or even ordered one, they just came out....) based on experience with units of similar design I wouldn't worry about that. In fact, it's not even possible to 'get t he last bit out'?

There are traps built in 'on both ends' that keep the water from leaking out, even if you tip it upside down to load, or carry it in your pocket. It holds very little water, really. Just enough to fill the tube from the tiny holes you can see in the internal tube at the top when it's inverted. Half an inch or so. A similar trap at the bottom is keeping it from running out and into your vape in use.

The only way to get it dry inside is to let it evaporate. It should work just fine like the similar version for say Solo:
https://www.puffitup.com/Arizer-Air-Solo-H2O-Filtration-Stem-p/qtqc.solo-bubb.htm
https://www.puffitup.com/Arizer-ArGo-Globe-Bubbler-Mouthpiece-p/qctq.argo-bubb_glb.htm

They should make it a bit cooler, but for many the bigger advantage is adding moisture back in so the vapor isn't as harsh on your throat. MMJ types probably appreciate this more than recreational ones since an irritated throat can hamper getting to the medicine needed.

I ordered an F2 today. I recently bought a couple VapCaps to get us into vaping. I love mine but my wife's not connecting to hers. I'm hoping this works better for her. It looks simpler, especially with the dosing caps. I went for the glass, too--the bent mp, the WPA and the new bubbler. Might as well give 'em all a shot!

I'm looking forward to trying it out, too.

So I fixed that 'haven't ordered one yet' problem..........I got it today. My two word appraisal would be: "Oh, wow!". Folks inclined to such things should definitely consider it.

To the original issues, yes, based on one test, I'd say it's definitely 'cooler' than the bent stem. I intentionally loaded some potent but harsh herb. But more importantly it's not as dry thanks to even that very modest water treatment. Very nice to sip on, not for all uses/occasions, but when the opportunity comes?

But it is basically impossible to get it all out. Well designed/implemented. Fits very well. Hard to say if that's going to happen next time, but I've no reason not to think it wouldn't. Needs a dust cap. Maybe a cork would be fun?

Due to it's compact design water level is important if you want it to have enough to work well and not so much it leaks when inverted. If you don't plan to turn it over you can put more water in, of course, but the trap on top only catches the minimum to function. And even then if you don't take care to orient the two lower ports horizontally (at 3 and 9 o'clock) it will stop bubbling when 'the 12 o'clock' port goes above water level if you tip it back. No big deal, but something to keep an eye on?

The glass is quite thick, it takes longer to get to full production than the bent stem, or to the Dosing Capsules? Again, not a big deal, this is not a piece of gear a guy in a big rush is likely to be messing with?

But if occasionally you kick back and enjoy a session with your trust F2, this is a stem well worth considering if you ask me. Which the OP kinda did.......

Regards to all.

I've got 5 different VCs, including a cocobolo omni and two custom made beauties from Stardustsailor and Weingums. While I love the big hits, VCs are not for everyone, not all that convenient or subtle, and not that easy to use, unless you've got an induction heater. VC is also not that great for outdoor activities. And the butane heating reminds too many people of the bad sort of drugs and druggies. The F2 is so much easier to use when traveling or doing outdoor stuff. The F2 is just much easier to deal with. Per my comment above, with a bit of trial and error, you can get hits almost as good as from a VC. You and your wife will both enjoy.

Great post, I totally agree.

My wife doesn't use her DV, but likes her fury 2. I use both, but my DV stays with my induction heater inside, while my fury 2 travels with me. Neither is perfect, or bad, they just excell differently, and different people might like one over another according to their wants and needs.

Do you ever have any concern that you might break the Bubbler 2.0 off at the bottom if you are not careful?

Knowing my luck, that would happen to me. I don't own any glass and would like to get some (I've tried it before with friends who have). My other concern is the that you need to load material it into the base of the glass with the Fury/2 and then insert it into the chamber. I'm so used to just pouring flower into the chamber and using the standard MP. Nothing could be easier but using the bubbler-style attachments adds a bit of complexity - and it seems like one would use a bit less material this way too, which is not a huge problem but for those with large 'appetites' like me it's a bit counter-intuitive.

Of course, then there's the Fierce which I've been eyeing. We shall see... :peace:

No, not really, although I haven't had it long enough to worry much..... As I said the glass in the bowl area is thicker than the other glass stems, so I'd expect it to be stronger for that reason alone. More over the 'weld' to the body means the thickness it even more where it joins. No 'weak spot'. And, further the web of the screen plate at the bottom of the tube (just slightly below the weld above making it stronger still?

Even dropping it when on the F2, since the body fits tight to the vertical surface I think a glass stem would stand a bigger risk. For sure the 1.0 version is very frail by comparison.

I intend to enjoy it as the mood suits, and should an fatal accident happen we're talking $25 and a tablespoon of water?

After some more testing, I'm still thinking it is 'cooler', that is less harsh, than the bent stem. This using some 'known harsh but potent' herb. Not having two F2s it's not possible to do a head to head 'A/B test', but by using my solo with the short 'all glass' stem I think I've got a pretty good reference. Harshness changes through the session (of course) but the moister vapor is 'easier on the throat' I'm figuring.

During the session I just finished another factor occurs to me, I think the combination of the large bore of the MP end and the way the vapor has to twist and turn getting to it, there's no concentrated stream of vapor aimed at your throat.

Whatever is happening, it's kind of a treat if you're in a place to take advantage of it. Even if not all the time? $25 well spent IMO.

Regards to all.

Our F2 arrived and my wife already said she prefers it to the VC. We've only used the standard mp so far, playing with temps a bit. We found out right away that the battery doesn't last very long! It's fully recharged now and we'll try some of the glass pieces later tonight. I'll load the dosing caps tonight, too, and make sure it's fully charged so she can take it with her tomorrow. I'll make sure we've both got the correct usb cords in our cars so we won't get stranded if away from home.

...snip...I've gotten in the habit of one 4-minute heat cycle at 380F, and then one 4-minute heat cycle at 425F clears the bowl. If the bud id super crystally, or if I pack the bowl extra full, I do two heat cycles at 3980F before bumping up to 425F for the final heat cycle...snip...

Any consensus on temp stepping? I know it's all personal but I'll follow the crowd if that's the way to go. The simplicity of Ramahs' approach appeals to me. I like simplicity. Thanks. :)

I rarely temp set and usually keep it on the same temp for the entire load (or capsule), however I like the temp a bit higher with the capsule. Just my personal preference.

For different herb I will vary the temp depending on moistness and effect.

With my Fury I’ll fill up the chamber, take 2-3 draws, turn it off and then polish it off in second round. More recently I’ve bumped up the temp on the second round. Perhaps a bit conservative but there’s a small mid-range temp that always works for me. :peace:

The temp setting is personal like you said. I like low temp vaping so I usually stay under 380. This is with the standard mouthpiece, I'll go 10 degrees higher with glass. Depending on the herb we generally vape between 360- 370. But like I said, I'm on the low temperature end of vapor enthusiasts that post here. Some max out the temp and rip, to each there own.

I don't really temp step, but sometimes I'll start at a higher temp until I get vapor, then turn it down for tasty sipping.

I'm sure you'll quickly settle on what works for you. And don't be afraid to play with the temps.
