A heartfelt thanks to @Philreal187 for his donation of a number of items.
Glass.... metal.... power supply... cleaning tools..... a TON of screens and more.
Thank you...thank you!
Items received... and I am delighted.
Every piece can be used by someone....
NO Leftovers!
May your day feel as fruitful as mine..... and that of the patient recipients of your generosity!

Hi all.
Things have been going well here, and our health has been acceptable.
The patient population is doing well, thanks to what has been a continual flow of new tools, that show up at the right time.... one patient's unit will fail, and we have been able to replace them.
You will see in a very short time a number of Vaporizers in the classified ads.
I wish to make it known, that I am not selling my collection, nor are we in a financial bind.
The units that you will see popping up, are tools that the patient population can not use due to dexterity, complexity, or lifestyle. In some cases the units were too intimidating for the local patients to be comfortable with, in terms of what they perceive as potential mishap or size of unit.
There is still a flow of used, and new vapes coming in that do suit the patients needs, and we are getting them out on a regular basis.
We wish you all a wonderful Thanksgiving season, around the corner... May you each get your favorite Turkey part on your plate.
Thanks for reading!

Thanks for the update. Am I safe in assuming the preferred (new) donation is the F2? Fits so well with HR's continuing to 'match' such purchases made from them. 'Two for the price of one' literally.

Please confirm that, I'm thinking of a unit or two (which magically becomes two or four....) by way of Holiday presents to those who need it far more than I do.

Thanks once again for all you do. Truly inspirational.

F2 is where it is at these days.
The patients love them, and they are sturdy as can be.
At this time they are more wanted than desktop vapes! (although I will be using some of the funds from what I will sell to get a couple of Da Buddhas for a pair of specific patients)
Thanks, @OF for asking about it.
I even use the F2 much more than the new Fierce (which is a beast!!), due to size weight and comfort.
Fact is I have been using the F@ daily!

Thanks. Hey, who would know better than you?

You just made my Christmas list, or rather your 'customers' did, I'm imposing on you to make that connection of course, but you volunteered.........

You've got me thinking about Thanksgiving. The more I ponder it the more it 'fits in' in the broad sense of celebrating the everyday blessing we tend to overlook.

Thank you, Brother. I'm feeling better about myself because of what you do, strange as that is.

3 Days of visits that all went well.
5 patients that were Seniors..(all but one).
One Original Hot Box for a desktop for one of them. This lady seemed to have good dexterity, and she felt comfortable with the system (which many find complex).
The others got a variety of portables I had around.....
2 were able to master the Vapor Blunt Pinnacle Pro.
These were brand new units that others had been intimidated by, but all went well.
By the way... I got three new units in, that I will master and then pass out.
I got a pen.. the Linx Hypnos, and along with it I was sent a DaVinci MiQro and a Boundless Tera.
They were a donation from @mephisto .... THANK YOU!!
I rarely help out of state... in fact all of my regular patients are in Tucson, but I do have a few in the phoenix area that I work with, using a "go-between" that drives to Tucson and meets me and accepts the units and brings them to the patients (I meet them on Facebook, and call their Doctors from here).
This time I have met a patient in a NEW medical state.
The patient is from Ohio, where there are only 5 Doctors approved to give MMJ recommendations.
They use the letters, and will be issued cards once dispensaries are opened.
In the meanwhile they are allowed to use there letters in Michigan dispensaries, in a great act of cooperation between states.
He is a member of a pain group, that is comprised of low income folks.
A first for me to send units to another state, but I will be forwarding him a few Flowermates (all various models) and a couple of Haze V2 units.
As I said I do not help out of my area, because the need here is great, and it would be hard to provide for other areas, but the fellows story was compelling, and his Doctor checked out in credentials, and I was privy to the actual letter of recommendation.
I will leave this patient's name out here as well, as I felt it a private matter.
These units I am sending are units that require a tiny bit more dexterity than my most recent patients, so I felt this gesture would be good Karma.... and perhaps help a few patients in another area to feel that someone cares!
Also.... another donor (I guess you already know it is @OF ) has taken @HealthyRips.com up on their "double-up offer"....
They have purchased 2 Fury 2 units, and had them sent to me, and I will receive 4 units along with dosing capsules to disperse among my most recent line-up of new patients that local Doctors have referred to us.
Happy Thanksgiving to all of you.
It looks like I have a great deal to be thankful for. I am alive and kicking, and I get to wake up near my miraculous Patty each day.
Much love to you all.
Thanks for reading!

My special thanks to @His_Highness for participating in @HealthyRips.com 's special offer of matching purchases for distribution to patients.
2 Units arrived, and will go to homes in short order.
Another large thanks to @Elenafair for her donation of a Chewy2 grinder, and a NEW DBV that by chance will be going to the same patient when we can arrange transportation. The DBV was what he had been hoping and waiting for.
I wish to thank @ghostvapesofficial for their sending out refurbished units for me to share with my community. 4 are already promised, and 6 others have potential homes, once I evaluate the patient's abilities to use units efficiently.
Thank you @ghostvapesofficial team!!
Sadly, I was in an accident (a bad one)
Wednesday a lady ran a red light, and then went into oncoming traffic in the opposing lane.
She was doing 50 and I was only doing 20, .... luckily the police were there and saw it all.
The 96 Explorer is toast... done.
I hurt most bones, and bruised entire body....
Left leg has been paralyzed for 15 years, so I use a cane or walker and right foot does the work.
Right ankle was shattered...
Had surgery Thursday.. they clamped ankle bone, and placed screws to attach it back to lower leg.
My paralyzed left leg now has to shuffle me along if I attempt walker use... but I am pretty much confined to wheelchair for the upcoming months.
I will be getting help to get units to patients in short order.....
..but must rest up for a bit.
Thanks for all of your support and help.
This injury won't put me down for long.. but I must go easy!
God Bless you all at this season, and again...
Thanks for reading.

Ah damn!
Sorry to hear about your RTA and injuries Vito, that's desperately unfair :disgust:
Hopefully the presence of the police means an easy passage through the insurance obstacle course.
I hope your recovery happens quickly, but I also hope that you take the time to heal as well as you possibly can, please look after yourself.
My very best wishes to you and Patty.

We have an attorney.
Fault has already been decided in my favor, and the insurance has issued a check for the car. 96 Explorer was not worth much, but the attorney is working on it and more (pain, time, suffering, and much more.)
Thank you all for all of your well wishes.
God bless you all.
I will write more later.. more Medical stuff to contend with today.

1st batch of refurbished units from the GHOST MV1 Trade-in program has arrived, and low income terminally and Chronically ill patients will be scheduled through the next weeks for orientation, instruction, and placement.
Some of these patients are from the Phoenix area, these orientation sessions will be done via Skype.
Thank you @ghostvapesofficial and Ghost Team, for the chance to improve lives!

13 days from surgery, and I get to see surgeon today for new Xrays to mAke sure the ankle screws have not moved.
We still managed to place a pinnacle Pro with hydro tube and a Ghost MV1 this week.
Both units went to patients with severe arthritic conditions.
I was impressed at the fast success the one has had with the Ghost MV1.
Thanks to the donor of the pinnacle, and to you @ghostvapesofficial for making Christmas feel more humbling for our patient community!
Love to all at this season!

Busy times for us...
I Skyped with a V.A. group, and we got things lined up nicely....
I had the patients read all there was to read on Ghost MV1 and also on the Fury 2.
7 Vets were given a choice between these units.
We did demo on Skype as they are not in Tucson, but all are low income card holding patients.
Today we sent out 3 Fury 2 Units with dosing capsules, and 4 Refurbished Ghost MV1s..
This will be a week of contacts, as once received I will be skyping with each one after units are all charged.
Thanks to those of you that took advantage of @HealthyRips.com generous matching offer at http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/healthy-rips-fury.24408/page-133#post-1326152
and thanks to @ghostvapesofficial for the upgrade program that brings us the refurbished units at https://www.ghostvapes.com/mv1-trad...=forum&utm_campaign=trade_in&utm_content=post
We appreciate all the help!
Love to all of you... and thanks for reading!

I want to thank a member who donated a box filled to the brim with a variety of grinders. No two are the same.
Thanks from the heart @Vapeur Rogue
I am excited to give the next patients a choice and watch them select.
That is one main thing that I remember about post-coma life, and getting my life together... it was lack of choice.
Accept what you are given, and utilize it with thanks to God for allowing you to have been the recipient.
I generally get a pile together of grinders. The plastic and acrylic ones, I set off to the side, in case I run out of metal ones.
Most of mine are generic 4 piece grinders.... I instruct and point out the good points, even though I prefer personally to use 2 piece grinders.
Choice makes a person with no money feel both wealthy, and like they matter.
Same with meds... getting to choose between strains.
For a low income patient that knows they are not going to improve.......
it offers something special.
I call it the "Aint I the shit" factor.
Yeah.. I be having things... it makes a patient feel great, and it is something that can't be taken away.
The self esteem stays!
Thanks for reading.

A big thanks to all of you FC Members that have taken advantage of the MV1 upgrade program, which in turn gets your old units refurbished for donation to local chronically and terminally ill, low income patients that have valid MMJ Cards.
Giant sized thanks to @ghostvapesofficial and the Ghost team for getting another batch of these refurbished units into our hands.
I guess by now you know that a dozen of these units have already made it into the homes of Veterans, and Cancer Survivors, as well as other patients suffering from medical situations that have become their accepted life situations. This includes a couple of young Chemo Patients as well.
The MV1 has afforded the lot of them, and there are more coming, with grace, and in spite of poverty... a modern tool that makes being ill.... and broke... seem much lighter on the heart.

Thanks to the Ghost MV1 Upgrade Program ... and Members that participated, and the efforts of the folks at Ghost (& @ghostvapesofficial )
we have been able to place 5 more refurbished units into the hands of deserving low income patients from various walks of life.
Teaching the use of the Ghost has been fun, because once you've got it, it is easy as pie.
The more folks I get to show, the more medicated I get!

Another Thanks (Back to Back posts...):uhoh:
But I got out near the last few Fury 2 units today.
Things go in spurts. Last week was Ghost MV1 week, but those are stay at home patients that
simply did not like being plugged in.
I will tell you the most fun part of the Fury 2 introductions, is the demonstration
of @OF 's loader. See it at http://fuckcombustion.com/threads/healthy-rips-fury.24408/page-109#post-1281542
After all of that, I can't believe I still have a number of those left.
Thanks for hooking it up so fat, @OF !
Not one Fury 2 has had an issue or come back to me since we began working with them.
It has been a year (February last year) that I have been passing these to patients.
It has been a good year.
I have everything to be thankful for, and nothing to complain about.
The day starts well.

(Back to Back posts...):uhoh:
It can be a habit when you have things to say.
It is Sunday Morn.
Ankle is better, I can walk about like before... and even better , I can drive again.
Still a little bit shy of it though.... I still can remember the November 21st accident , and
am just not quite over it.
I have a fellow card holder that has been helpful to me.
He drives to Tucson, and drops promised (skyped about) units off on his way home.
He stopped to see one of the last patients I gave a Fury 2 to.
An arthritis patient.
He had never vaped before, and was new to his card
I realized I had not discussed the dosing capsules.
I use the fury 2 straight up, but the patients like the idea of dosing.
The guy was pulling weeds with a big smile.
He liked the way he felt, and was clearly 'affected'.
It made my helper smile ....then asked about his mom (in her 80's)
Do you think she would like this. He explained that she did not leave home...
and mostly sat in same spot in the living room.
She has Spinal Arthritis
Positive opinions were shared about her liking it....
They called me and on the phone where I expressed that he did not really need to be there introducing
meds to a non-patient, though it is clear that she would qualify.
I did recommend that she should see one of our local Doctors that help with
Certification, and if that woman gets a card, I am going to give her a desktop to put next to her chair.
You can't skype with everybody.
So many do not have Internet access.
Even when my friend that was helping was there, he carries a laptop... but.....
so we went voice via cell.
Thanks for letting me share.
