I've had my new stem, case and stash set from @primitiveorganic for almost two months now and have been using it daily since it arrived. It got me through days of heavy Fall chores and a nasty bout with the flu. I just have to say this set is very convenient and has been a pleasure to use.

My set is a beautiful combination of Purple Heart and Ebony that has a wonderful rich depth. Pictures really can't adequately represent it, or my pictures anyway. It's a stunning set and I'm very pleased that I have it in my collection.

The case and stash have significant heft from the brass lining which I like and it fits very nicely in my hand. It feels robust and substantial. The case is 5" long, the stash measures up at 2 1/4" long and they are almost 3/4" wide. Both the stash and the case sport a lovely flush abalone inlay at the ends with inlaid magnets on the other end that connect them together and also double as a cap cooler and holder. You won't lose your cap with this set.

I love the design of the lids. They are turned tips that pressure fit into the brass inserts with the help of orings, creating a smell proof design. The oring lids also make accessing the case and stash easy and quick with just a simple twist and pull motion. Quick and easy. Easy peasy. I think that this element is my favorite innovation of these stashes. They are just so easy to use. The oring lid is brilliant.

The stem itself is simple elegance. It is slightly shorter than a stock Dynavap stem and has an integrated condenser. The condenser is easily cleaned with a quick pass through with a pipe cleaner.

The whole set is well thought out and beautifully designed. It is a piece of art that begs to be displayed. I absolutely love it!!!

@primitiveorganic offers a super quick turnaround, swift shipping and great customer service.

This is in my opinion a high quality after market option for Vapcaps. What a wonderful Xmas gift this could be for a loved one!

I know that I cherish mine.

I'm a noob in the dynaverse but I'm just about to make my first vapcap purchase, most likely thru austyn cuz his work is outstanding. Couple questions tho.

What would the function of this piece be? https://www.instagram.com/p/BqJFfnah0U7/

How does a non carb vapcap compare to a carb vapcap anyways?

That is a beautiful piece! That piece is the body and integrated mouthpiece.
You would need a tip (stainless steel or titanium) and I believe that is an XL, so you would need an XL condenser (check with him on size to be sure) plus a cap.

The difference between carb/no carb: Basically the carb will give you more airflow and less resistance. If you are planning to only use your VC with water, you do not need a carb.
However, if you are new to the world and will be experimenting to see what you like best, you are better off starting out with a carb. You can always cover the hole with orings, tape, finger, etc if you end up preferring it without.

Welcome to the VC world!

The pictured stem is described as having an exposed condenser. I believe that this means that the holes you see drilled into the stem are a decorative element only and that the condenser operates without an air port or carb.

A Vapcap with an air port operates differently than one without.

Vapcap midsections with air ports allow air to enter the air port, travel down the stem between the condenser and the stem until it reaches the tip and creates a negative pressure where the cool air from the air port mixes with vapor pulled from the tip. The vapor and cooler air combine and travel up the condenser to the mouth piece. The volume of air and the amount of air restriction can be adjusted by the degree you cover the air port with your finger. People who prefer little air restriction tend to pull vapor directly into their lungs.

Vapcaps midsections without an air port bring vapor directly through the condenser from the tip to the mouth piece. This causes a greater air restriction and allows the vapor to be pulled into the mouth (mouthpull), before inhaling the vapor along with fresh cool air into the lungs. For me, I prefer no air port as I find the mouthpull technique creates smoother, less irritating vapor compared to toking directly into the lungs

it's definitely a sick piece. i just put in an order for PSM so i've gotta decide on a VC sooon.

this is great info thanks! an airport would be located where the midsection and the tip meet allowing for air to travel thru if you were to use a carb then eh?
