Discontinued Healthy Rips FIERCE

Thoughts on buying a Fierce and a Fury? I've got to wait for the Fierce to be available anyway so I might as well wait and see what happens on Black Friday.

You know I like this idea. They're different enough and satisfying enough to see regular use and even at home the Fury 2 glass is nice for fully vaping small amounts.

If you were just gonna get one, I recommend the Fierce. I prefer the flavor plus the bigger glass and removable battery make it better for frequent use and sharing.

How are people making out with the robot fart flavor? Just got my replacement today and the same flavor is still there pretty strongly, but I'm hoping it fades soon this time.

My first unit had the odor, this one had nothing and I was looking/expecting it.

This was bought for the incoming MV, but showed up in two days, PIU rocks, had to try it. Love it! It might be a little small for the MV, we'll see, but it's great with the Fierce

Adds just the perfect little drag, it's a vertical Orbiter.

Same for me. Although I wasn't upset about the 'new tennis shoe' smell of the OG, this one had none. I assume because it didn't have the pretty and smelly rubber parts in the box. It came carefully wrapped in bubble wrap layers in the box. They seem to have 'fixed' that issue.

Still big and heavy compared to Fury 2. Somehow I ended up with two battery doors and 3 screws, meaning of course I'll never lose one......or if I do I won't be able to find the spares. I can see that happening, dropping one or the other in some dark/inaccessible place in a rapid and stealthy if not completely successful battery exchange. For now I'll be avoiding that risk having only one battery.........

I couldn’t find that glass in PIU. It’s called vertical orbiter?

That's the one @Mikey , try it, you'll like it! How many remember that commercial, it seemed to run for years!

I got it in 14mm, I'll be ordering the 18 before long also!

Sorry, I should have been more clear, it works like a vertical version of the Orbiter!
Life cereal commercial. It was rumored many times over several years the child actor died due to eating Pop Rocks candy. How’s that for pre-internet conspiracy theories. Not sure whatever happened to him...:peace:

Mikeys alive...lol

Yeah, but I hear he's Michelle these days. And despondent that he's been rejected and can't live his livelong dream of dancing with the Rockettes. Rumors have it he's taking lesser gigs to pay the bills while waiting for that big break. I also hear he has a custom license plate frame that says 'Try everything' but that might be just a rumor.

So grasshopper battery endcaps from @Ratchett fit the fierce glass wpa, bent and straight stem chamber ends enabling preloading. Fury 2 capsules fit inside the glass fierce pieces for micro dosing and so do focus or flowermate capsules too. This vape ties things together for me in a way other vapes have tried and failed. Being able to use the fierce for all usage scenarios apart from stealth/ease of carrying. Being able to use through water, being a clean flavour (now the robot fart taste has mostly gone). Having a decent sized capsule system being able to preload stems, long battery life. Seems I've become a fanboy despite the cool running nature of the vape. :D

@priestsmiler nice tip about those caps. I too embrace the coolness. Heck, Mighty fans are devoted as fuck and that thing only does 410°.

@MonkeyTime How does that sipper bubbler compare to a D020 or D020-d? I don't care for the tiny scope bubbler mouthpiece PIU has in their deals this week. The sipper seems a fine size though and unlike the scope it looks like you can get the water totally out of it, yeah?

But the Mighty also adds some conduction and at 410F, it extracts.

But right now, I'm enamored with my Fierce.

It's a little fiddly, but yes, you can get all the water out. It holds 7-10ml of water, and the disk has a lot of slits, there's an initial pull, but very little drag. It really does pair well with the Fierce. Compared to a D020, less drag, similar feel, less convenient IMO.

Can't say I've seen anything like it on dhgate. I thought the price was fair, and with the current sale, even better, I ordered the larger version earlier today.

Forgive me if this was asked/discussed: will the Fierce glass accessories work with the Fierce dosing capsules or are they too big and hence the F2 capsules (and similar from other products)?

Yes, they do. The stem adapter seals to the oven top (like with the standard MP) and the stem seals to that seal from the top and rests on the capsule below (stem sticks up half an inch or so higher in use.

Thanks!

Completely unrelated question: I see the Edit link on some threads and not on others though I’m logged in in all browsers. Anyone else notice this or know the reason?

The edit link times out (you can’t access the edit function after a certain time passes). That’s my guess as to why sometimes you see it and sometimes you don’t.

Can I get some testimonials from Fierce owners who currently own a Mighty on how they compare?

I don't need to be directed to online reviews; I'm very familiar with the pros and cons of the Mighty and the consensus view of how great it is. The closest I've come to being tempted by these bf deals is the Mighty. I tend to doubt that my vaping habits would lend themselves to a desktop and I don't see the other portables taking over a top spot. I'm curious what all the eternal fuss is about with the Mighty though, and while I still don't like the price even after the 15-20% discounts and bundles I'd buy it during a sale like this if I was gonna, ya know?

We don't like discussions about other vapes in vape threads, so if anyone wants to give @bossman their opinion, please do it via PM to keep this thread on topic.

@bossman you are more than welcome to create a thread in Ask FC if you like, or ask your questions in the Mighty thread.

Thanks.

When you use the fury 2 chambers to reduce the load, how much do you think still fits in the glass? I dose at .1 g every time
