So I got some Octopus pendants made by https://www.instagram.com/johnnylandiniglassblowing/

Will be posting pics and putting them live on my site tomorrow. They are pretty sweet and I figured it would be a nice addition that is not dab specific. But still fit the mascot Octopus =)

The newest inserts will be in tomorrow and I will also be posting some pics of them. They were made to better fit my newer version bangers and I will also finally have some 30mm opaque in the newer format.

I will make sure to post some pics tomorrow

The slime colored universe octopus also has glow in the dark suction cups (Mind has been blown)

Hope these give you all a good idea of the octopus heat I am bringing =P

Really cool designs @710Coils are those going online for sale then soon? 2nd and third ones are my personal favorite, idea Christmas present for the other half :)

Thanks! The 10mm coojoglass donut is great with this coil/banger, small but mighty. Color is experimental green 5 and he got some really awesome blues out of it especially around the perc. This whole weekend it was a champ...30mm destroys dabs!

Great pendants @710Coils maybe a functional octopus pendant in the future? And are any more band colors for the coil clips planned?

@grobbo The colored clips are something I have to work towards as I need to order a minimum order of 25k of each color. It is on my list of items I want to achieve and am hoping as momentum builds for the clips i will be able to pony up the chunk of cash needed =)

Working octopus pendants sound awesome and I will add that idea to my list to see who can possibly make me something to offer.

Inserts came in today and the slit inserts are a bit too tall and so I will need to order more and should have them in a week (Slaps forehead with palm of hand)

The good news ins the non slit version look good and I will post them later today

I know all controllers vary, but IMO a good PID gets to temp in around a minute or so give or take.

Since it will still be a week or so before my axial coil and 30mm opaque arrives, i'm just curious how long it might take for the banger to get to "temp equilibrium"? I think i've heard that it takes longer than a SiC halo/ti base, which is super quick ( approximately a minute), but i'm just wondering how much longer...

I'm also wondering how many of you prefer torching over the enail/coil, and why..?

After waiting 2-3 weeks for my apricot terp tuner to ship I finally cancelled the order. Turns out they didn't have it in stock and were ordering more and I'm a little skeptical about them getting it in the time they said. I was really looking forward to it, I'm sad I can't seem to find one anywhere else either.

Anyone know a reliable retailed that has the apricot terp tuner in stock? So far I've only seen 1 and like I found out they don't actually have it in stock.

Might be for the best, I'm still planning on buying an octopus one and I probably don't need 4 bubble caps.

While I love my Auber, I still think the Omron E5CC based Chinese controller you helped me make right is the best performer in terms of temp stability, overshoot, etc.

I really like both of them and are very happy with both....but wow, that Omron PID is really the tits.

@Baron23 The Omron has a bit more under the hood you could say. But is hard to find a reliable build under 200.00. Thats why I push most towards the Auber. Its super easy to find and only costs 100.00. But I totally agree with you that when compared the Omron is a better controller. I am still thinking of possibly releasing a DIY kit at some point and if I did. It would be based off the Omron controller =)

Just added 14 to 10mm male reducers and the Octopus pendants. I have also begun my update of all pictures to better represent what I am now carrying (Version and such) and should have it all done by tomorrow evening. Pearls and clips got some refreshing already so you can see them as examples =)

Hoping to have something within the next few weeks and I am working on setting up some bundles for people that want to get the whole enchilada in one click =)

I am finishing updating all product pictures on my site and then will roll into creating the bundles

Non slit inserts are up on the site and I should have more slit inserts in a week

Pendants have also been added to the site and more Quartz Pi caps will be here in the next day or so

I am almost sold out of the 25mm axial coils and am getting low on the 30mm version. so if you were thinking about scooping one. Now is the time as I wont have them back in stock for about 10 days.

BTW could anyone explain me the differences in function and performance of the various inserts (slit/un-slit straight tip/ curved tip)? ATM I tend to buy a 30mm with inserts.

@Hogni Shopify only goes so far with what I can do with it. But am working on getting an actual website created and then features like that would be possible =)
I also agree with @invertedisdead that you should try one of each to see what you think. Also the Quartz Pi caps are meant to stand on their head. They are very functional friendly caps and so far I have had a hard time keeping them in stock for more than a week. Dab tools are hopefully a week out and I am working on getting what I can while they work out the specs for my custom dab tool

When your ready to pull the trigger hit me up and I will make sure to take good care of you :tup:

Arg, damn your new axial coils! I couldn't resist and ordered a blue 30mm, then I was all "well while I'm here I might as well..." and ordered the 30mm non-slit opaque inserts, a 2nd 30mm opaque banger, a mood mad, stickers, and clip kit.

Quartz monster indeed.

You're not alone bro! And i'll answer your question from a bit back in the D-nail thread here since I have zero interest in anything related to D-nail anymore.

Quartz banger > D-nail sic halo slim series any day of the week.

For me it's always about taste, vapour production/quality/smoothness, and effects. And I honestly feel that maintaining a quartz banger (clear) is far easier than the sic halo slim series.

I never ever use simple green, only a torch and a small mason jar of ISO. Doesn't take too long to torch it clean, and then while still warm (not too hot!) I drop it in the ISO for a minute (if there is any reclaim in the neck), then hot water rinse paper towel dry and it's like brand new sparkling clean condition.

For those torchers out there that have opaque, does it come out just as sparkling clean?
