Glad you got it up and running , even with the dodgy batteries .

Hey thanks man. I figured since I now know its capabilities I can hold off another 18hrs or so before using it again with a proper set-up and in the meantime put a thin layer of Sticky butter on the wood since it's Solid Pine.

Those A-Maze-Coolers are crazy effective! I threw one into a SBJ and it feels like a runt MP and then them in a runt MP is even better. They do slightly throw the taste but I think the DDave stems seem to be the solution as it actually has a better feel to the air flow if that makes sense and no alteration of flavor. I'm so nervous about handling it though but im sure that I'll be used to it though. Also this thing feels great for left handed people, something I was worried about.

Hey guys, checking back in.
I ended up buying Efests version of the 30Q, a little better according to Mooch's chart and it blew the guys mind and asked where to buy one. I told him if he let me put up the Sticker I would tell him but he found it on his phone anyway lol, plus he couldn't let me put the sticker on anything ='(. Needless to say that the preformance is as stated in the previous 138 pages, Freaking Amazing! A few minor things but thats just the "Artisan" aspects of the device like the fitting but those DDave wax beads seem to be a viable option to the problem. The Med sized Stem is the perfect length with the protruding glass insert (Which, unfortunately I forgot to buy a Reg. glass insert compatible with the A-Maze-Coolers but they'll find their ďuses in other glass MP's until I get the Reg. insert. The Acacia Stem is more than I could ask for, after treating it with some wood butter it turned this suttle shade of Gold, the only thing is that on one portion right by the capsule insert there's a rough patch that im scared will chip over time; my best way to deal with this is either wait until the Custom Stems are released and scramble for one of those or just treat and watched for a little whilr to see if its degrading (which im almost positive it's not and could use a little bit of sanding but im wondering what grain sandpaper to use to smooth ot out and match the texture of the wood around the area @funkyjunky)

I don't know what the vapor is supposed to feel like but at 180c I almost lost a lung yesterday cause I underestimated the vapor, it really didn't look like much was going thru the bent MP until you get that tickle and the "Oh Snap im about to cough back into the MP and/or spray spit" (btw does anyone look back at the things posted when they were totally medicated and feel like someone else was typing cause it's not the way you usually talk? I felt that wasly about my "This is a Killa post" yesterday.)

Ok so I did my best to tinker with the settings to almost the way I want them, the few things left that im having trouble finding are:
1- How to drop the Peak wattage from 70 to 50 (maybe 55 idk, do you guys have any input on this other than it seems to save some batt. life and help its longevity.

2- Setting up TStep. I can probably set this up myself im more or less looking for advice like how many steps & what temp. is good to start at and good to end.
Its a bit early and my coffee hasn't kickes in but when I can think of the other, not problems but rather preferences that I couldn't find myself (while mainly only exploring Menu>Vaping & Menu>coils. I swear I feel the very similar to when I held a baby for the first time, the pressure I put on myself to not drop, mishandle, scratch, or otherwise harm the device adds to the nervousness.

Sorry for the long post but there is just so much to say about the TUBO, even without talking about its unrivaled capabilities & versatility.
Thank everyone from FC to Vaporents to the E-cigaretteforum, Thank you for taking the time and effort to help me choose the right batteries to the preparations inbetween the time it took for the unit to reach me.

Have a good day guys and the advice you guys have given has made a world of a difference.

Azn2101.

Awesome @Azn2101 . I'm jealous as . Anyways , does anyone have any decent recommended bags that they use for storing when not in use . I kinda need to have it hid safely out the way at times .

I started looking at camera bags as they have some protection. Any other ideas ?

Cheers

Not sure if you need it smell proof or such- but I got a nice wooden box (a craft box blank) that fits a tray- I want to get some softer foam or such to rest a couple vapes at a time in it, still puzzling on storage of stems and storage for the quiver of portables that may not be in daily rotation at any time, and desktops.

Yeah that's my concern too , storing stems etc . I think I've found a little second hand camera case that might just do the trick .
I also didn't notice that you could order spare screens and spare basket screens . I'm sure I've got a few crafty screens that are the same size , but I'm not quite sure about the basket screens . Does anyone have a size or type they recommend , I'd never heard of them until now plus I'm for sure going to lose it at some point.
Cheers

For *On a table/desk* stem and stuff storage, Delta 3 has some fantastic options...but a) I have 4 cats, at least one of whom loves clearing horizontal surfaces- b) I don't want to stress over stuff left out if I need to be discreet ( like when my folks visit) https://delta3dstudios.com and though geared more towards smokers, there is this https://www.blazysusan.com

I have no experience of a vape like this , with glass stems etc , so it's going to be a learning curve for me.
Hopefully I'll be giving it a try this weekend if it arrives . That would be a week of shipping to the UK . Fingers crossed

Have you already received any updates on shipping?
We ordered at the same time...

Om im ready to reach out on this one.

Can someone help me find out how to drop max wattage from 70 to 50 (or to whatever number but you get what i mean)

I'd really appreciate it, Thanks guys.

P.S. This is the 2nd time ive tried to sit down to use to TUBO to not get blown away (even with a significant tolerance.) I think this is the first vape I can cometely notice the effects of both strains; I've never medicated with a sativa and actually had it keep me up and active to this level...after I took my sleep meds. So here I am 3:42am on a pharma-hippie (kinda-ish?) speedball. Idk all I know is I can't sleep and am pretty medicated.

It never hurts to check the manual :D .
http://shop.lamart.ch/index.php?route=product/category&path=70

Change peak power
Enter main screen edit mode by clicking the fire button three times (or according to clicks menu) until the top line flashes. Navigate to the ‘PWR’ line by clicking ‘-‘ and press ‘+’ to start changing the value and save with the fire button. Recommended value is 70watts.

I ordered a pre built tubo , so it's being delivered soon. I was lucky as I assumed all of them had a 6 week wait . Bonus ✌️

The firmware has updated a bit since that manual, "Edit" is no longer in the 3 clicks slot. "Warm up" is 3 clicks, "temp step" is in 4 clicks. You can temporally change one of those to "edit", then you can change the watts on the main screen, then change it back. Or, I never use warm up, so I put Temp Step in the 3 clicks slot, and edit in the 4 clicks slot and did not replace warm up.
@Azn2101 hard to tell if your last sentence is a good thing, or bad. :D Let us know when you get your temp changed, in case it fucks with you. The editing, that is.
Fire button & + to enter deep edit menu, go to Interface, then to Clicks, there you can edit your clicks. Then follow @Abysmal Vapor watt change on the main screen tip.

@SloJimFizz Well to me edit mod is whatver you set it to. I dont use tempstep i use only regular cruise mod :).
(or according to clicks menu)
Change click combinations
Change in ‘menu>interface>clicks’. One has to be set to Edit, otherwise it will get reset after a battery change. 5-click always powers on/off.

Right, clicks are what you set it. But the default "Edit" is no longer 3 clicks. Which is what you were making it seem, in your, "read the manual" comment. I was just showing how to make it an option in clicks again.
I don't use temp step either, yet, but it's there.

@SloJimFizz . It is a amazing thing just totally unexpected! I just had no REAL experience with that much a a difference in strain feeling other than one if super powerful knocked me out ptetty much like I got kicked by a horse or slow and painfully with weights on my eye lids slowly failing to resist gravity. Im normally a "Hey man, whats the best 3 strains in here for this much and no super this or that just something that will do the job at a price that wont take me beating you with the limb you're tryin' to charge me." and they usually come back with strains that look good & weren't bad for by any means just nothing id swrite home to Uncle about lol.

@Abysmal Vapor MB man I thought I checked everywhere on the website and saw an outdated manual but it might have been the old firmware versions, thank you though and I can be pretty stupid, Dead Brain/No-Coffee Brain/Ect. BUT i'm not sure im im the first yo find this but fast quick warning that im not an experienced TUBO'er so this might just be my unit that this technique works on but its worth a try.

Ok im not sure cause @funkyjunky haven't gotten back to me but I figure, What can It hurt to share the info but please, don't blame me if this test/trick is only applicable to my TUBO eVic. So I was tinkering with what grain of sandpaper/smoothing device was used on the Stem and it kept rolling off the table. I put a Large O-ring from an SBL HydroBrick Maxx, right below the widest part of the stem's width that way the seal meets the heater block's glass lip first and as you push it in (I added just a bit of SB Butter to make sure it would slide in the intake Fully & Correctly so I could mark where the O-Ring would naturally rest at its tighest point while still being the first to grip and roll over itself into that perfectly sealed position) right above the widest part of the Cap Stem.

Could someone make a short post after this so I can post the pics of the O-ring on the stem & how it Perfectly Fits (starting point and finishing point of where the O-rings positions, not that it matters cause everyone will have a slightly different size) without Double posting please?

Thanks for the info on dropping the power @SloJimFizz & @Abysmal Vapor.

Here are the pics of the SBL HydroBrick Maxx's Large O-Ring around the Med Cap Stem & inserted into the TUBO to show how perfect the fit is. It also works with the Bent Glass MP but that seems to have a great seal as is but I keep one on voth the stem and MP now. If they don't show up they're on my Imgur under the same username: Azn2101

@SloJimFizz and @Abysmal Vapor. Dtopping the Peak Power to 50 as reccommend by a few people makes very few differences except it seems to help battery life (idk im not too acquainted with the batt bar yet. Is it normal to stay at a certian batt life % until you exit cruise mode and it reads out a different batt life then after it goes into sleep mode sometimes goes back up a little?) but it does take a draw more to get those sneaky huge clouds, which by the way is very hard not to do yet somehow seems to have the "Dynavap Effect" where the load seems to keep going and going until its a dark brown, like a Dynavap.

I might have to shelf the Acacia Stem until I can figure out how to keep it from cracking at the edge where the S&B cap settles in. I did some reading in the archives of this thread and know that if you force it in there every time its going to cause these cracks (I am guilty of doing this once with it and and thats when I noticed 3 seperate cracks [lets say #1 is at the 12 O'clock, the 2nd would be at about the 5 and the 3rd about the 7-8 area] but haven't done it since but it makes it kinda hard to make sure its tight in there b/c I really dont want this to chip you know?)

I mean I absolutely love the look of the Acacia w/the Pine but I won't risk a LE piece when I can buy a reg cap stem that serves the same purpose and not worry about the wear & tear to a LE item, especially one that I might have permanently damaged from the DDave cooler not sliding too great the first few times while pushing it in/pulling it out (instead of twisting as I pushed/pulled.) I used my off-hand palm as a stopper and thats when I heard the cap squeak and I noticed, but since then has been fine except the 5 O'clock crack grew a smidgen. Any ideas on how to handle this? If it were Beachwood I wouldn't be as concerned but again, being Acacia makes it a bit different, to me anyways. Im also thinking of the new exotics that were mentioned but i'd be hard pressed to find another type of Wood to go with the Pine eVic as well as the Acacia (besides Pine lol)

So again, 50w = almost no difference / seems like more batt life?
&
LE Capsule Stem might be degrading, thoughts on what I should do or any ideas on how to maybe stop the cracks from growing more. (I get that wood of all parts in this artisan device is the most uncontrollable part to work thats why it didn't bother me to see a rough spot from about the max diameter of the stem to the capsule insert edge)

Thanks again guys,
Azn2101.

Thanks
