The Mighty/Mighty+ by Storz & Bickel

Probably going to join team Mighty soon too, I also have a Solo but I don't like using it all that much. Mostly because the restricted airflow and harsh vapour if you use anything above 200°C. Size is no issue for me because I would only use it as a home device anyway. Are there any must-have addons besides the dosing capsules to buy with it or is it great out of the box?

I'd also get a base stand and either a bubbler or a second cooling unit. I tried going above 210 on some of my 200 C ABV and not too much vapour came out. It's very efficient even at the lower temps. I think my range on the Mighty is 185-200 C and 195-205 C on the Arizer II.

This is just to clean the CU less often right? :)

Yes, and what everyone else said! In addition, I've found it very useful if you find yourself in marathon sessions. When the CU starts to build up heat internally, you can simply switch to a fresh (cool) one, and it's like dropping an ice cube in your drink. Instant coolness! Then after another bowl or two, back to the first one...

I bought and have owned a Mighty vape now for a couple of months, hoping to upgrade from my arizer solo 2. It feels like a lateral upgrade than moving up, for the pros and cons kind of even themselves out

I don't know why, but it took me a little more than a couple of months to realize the potential of the Mighty, then it just seemed to get better for me year after year or I appreciated it more over time.

Another thing to bear in mind is that the Mighty was like the answer to the Solo 1. The fact that it outshines the Solo2 in some areas having preceded it by 3 years is really something. I'm really looking forward to seeing their answer to the Solo2!
And indeed I would then like to see Arizer's response to that also!

It appears we picked a good time to be into vapes!

Yeah I've heard rumblings that Storz and Bickel are making a new type of Crafty-like portable. It will be interesting to see how it competes against Arizer's stock.

Cool. And there's always the chance we'll be surprised by the other makers or even a new company.
It's exciting and I'm done waiting already!
Enjoy your vapes this weekend and thanks for the thoughts/comparisons on those two.

I have a few CUs and rotate. I have an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner and I pop the CU into a bag of ISO and then in the ultrasonic for 10 minutes and it looks like new. I do take top from bottom and remove o-rings but that's it. Screen cleans up like its new.

Cheers

So today I tried a PAX 3 from a friend of mine and I can just say I'm glad I got a Mighty :D

Don't get me wrong the PAX is a great device, great portability, etc.. but it doesn't even come close to the Mighty in terms of how satisfied it makes me.

Glad to hear the mighty still rules. I've been in a cave with this thing lol. No need to look else where. And I'm on here to say my first mighty bought two years that i put threw hell and back just got rma'd last week.
They just got a new one back to me. No money or questions. Just amazing service. Got to love it. The best shit. Worth every thing you got.

Has anyone sent theirs in for cleaning?
I've been using mine A LOT daily with concentrate, and it's extremely dirty inside. I think some of the concentrate dripped into the actual unit as there is some leaking out the air inlet holes by the screen. Wonder if they would still service it.

Could you please share model of jewelry cleaner you are using? Sounds like a very good idea and just adds to ease of use.

No, ask for an UPS shipping return or just write in your package it's a RMA and you will never pay any fees !! (talking about S&B germany).

Hi all. I'm interested in grabbing a Mighty and was wondering where I should look for the best price on a unit, stand and dosing capsules. I see that Puff It Up has a 15% discount going and includes the stand, so $296 without dosing capsules. Definitely want to make sure that I'm not getting an old unit, though.

Where to buy this beast?

EDIT: Pulled the trigger via PiU! Any initial beginner tips for this vape?

Ditto! I had a Pax 2 and sold it almost immediately and bought a Might. I’ve never looked back :)

First post to the forum!

I had a Crafty for three years but the usage was kind of random and didn’t get impressive amounts of hours to it. The battery performance was always probably below the normal. Still have it and it’s waiting the mew battery pack by @JCat to be installed. Crafty will remain in occasional use for bar nights due to it’s portability.

Roughly a month ago I pulled the trigger and go me the Mighty. Added the capsule magazine to my accessories and have been using it only with capsules.

Naturally the Mighty outperform Crafty at home and when doing longer sessions with friends. Love the mean machine!

After 15-20 capsules I’ve started to get some cracking or clicking sounds when the Mighty heats or cools down. Not worries about that at this stage. I also think that - possibly - the haptic alert got louder at some point. That’s not an issue for me but I need to keep eyes and ears on these issues. Purchased through a legit reseller.

One question though! I have the original coarse screen in the CU and usually the screen catches some smaller particles/dust escaping the capsule. Is there any reasonably easy way to install smaller screens to all capsules or would the workaround be that I just put a fine screen on top of the capsule and then put the CU in place? Would that work as well?

And yes, I read the thread starting from page 400. :)

I have used the same screens in the CU for almost three years. I recently replaced them in the theee CU’s I have. I installed the course screens I occasionally pull material through with the course screen. In hein sight I wish I would’ve used the fine screens in the CU.

This was also the first time I replaced and cleaned under the screen in the bottom of the heating unit. I would recommend going on Arby’s or Amazon and getting a few replacement screens for the CU’s and the bottom of the heating unit. You will need them at the most in incident time do place them in your bag that you store your Might in.

If you don’t have a smell proof bag for your Might I’d highly recommend one.

A finer screen may lead to more frequent cleaning. I use the coarse screen ( some users remove it completely.) I've found that when it starts to get sticky, it catches a percentage the fines.( I'm fine with that) There is still alot of surface area in the CU that fines get caught up on.
I tend to use a coarser grind overall. I load the capsule with the fine grind ( inevitably there will be fines) and top with coarse.

This works well for me but we all walk to the beat of a different drum.
