So, I guess regardless of if you prefer conduction or convection, the first at-temperature hit is always the tastiest and dankest. So why not optimize a vape for that first hit?

I'm imagining a tray with many dimples or cells, maybe just a few mm in diameter, just big enough for a microdose size. The vape can heat each cell individually. If you make the cells small, you can basically toast one cell at a time. Cook each little bit of herb one bit at a time, so you always get a fresh hit.

No need to worry about stirring any more, and completely on demand. You can control your dose perfectly -- just heat more cells -- and you could load up much more ahead of time.

Does this make sense to anyone else? :D

Like a revolver type? I can see some benefits for that. Or just keep six stems loaded for my UD.

Just off the back of Hackerman's compressed weed idea, what about weed compressed into little balls loaded into a hopper like a miniature paintball gun? You just hold it upright and work the bolt to let a VapeBall™ drop into the chamber, then press the trigger to flash-vaporize it.
You could have different calibre VapeBalls™ for different tolerances and DabBalls™ for when you want to get really mashed.

Have you checked out the Arizer AirGo? I really like mine and I've got a Ghost and a Mighty to compare it with.

@jake18a I have the Air II and like it, both for a session at home and as a joint replacement when I'm out. :) But I'm thinking more on-demand now. Here's a diagram of what I mean. Love the cat btw :)
