Where did you find the covers? I’m looking for a cover for my therion, these accessories seemed discontinued everywhere I’ve searched.

Well I'm back now and I see the mod world for vaps has brown quite a bit. I was doing a lot of diy post on the Bulli thread. My main concern was with having to replace the coils more often than I wanted to. It seems that the splinter may be the key.

Quick question (trying to decide or the splinter or splinter z).
I still have my reuleaux DNA200. Is this mod still relevant? Will the splinter work well with the DNA200? With preheat options and a good Mod can the splinter perform close to the Z? If there Z if good enough than I'll just purchase that now.

A good mod is a must for optimal performance.

Really bummed been trying to get my splinter repaired and have had little luck with customer service even when i expressed i would pay for fix. I got 1 email back then when i asked what the next step was i got ghosted sent out a few emails. just want to be able to use it again. My splinter fell out of my work shirt pocket and the glass inside the wood broke. I like my milliana and my zion but the splinter was perfect for on the go. What should i do?

Now that Stephanie is working for Ryan even Ryan will admit that CS is vastly improved.

Send an email to info@Rastabuddatao.com to reach Stephanie.

Just got the Splinter a couple of days ago.

Is it normal for the AVB to be dark in the middle of the bowl? My AVB is always uneven.

I'm vaping on a DNA 250c device in TC mode.

Maybe reduce your draw speed and/or temperature? Bowl packing (how hard or loose) also have a large impact.

You can also vary the distance from load to heater if you use a screen inside the stem as opposed to a top hat. A few millimeters can make a world of difference.

But usually center hot-spotting happens when you try to extract too hard and too fast. Be more gentle and less demanding and usually it goes away.

I'll try reducing draw speed and/or temperature.

I would try to use a screen but the mouthpiece tapers so it won't stay in place.

How hard/soft should I pack the basket? What type of grind?

Just so you guys know, the green email alert to notify when back in stock may not be accurate as I was able to add the following Splinters to my cart & apply the FBF discount code. Naturally, I didn't check out. :p

2-hole Purple Heart, Wenge, Leopard Wood, BE Maple & Jatoba
&
4-hole Jatoba & Cumaru

*I just let Ryan know in his stream & he said that he had recently just found out. Apparently 2 other items in stock (not Splinter Zs), i.e. bubinga Splinter & something else, are not even showing up on the website. He said that after BF he will run a similar post-BF sale & these items will be listed on the website.

Please guys, I need your help, this is very frustrating. I just got the Reuleaux RX Gen3 Dual, and I tried using the Updater from the FunkyJunky guide, but it wouldn't recognize the device, then I tried using the dedicated updater from the official Wismec website, wouldn't take the software as it says it's incompatible, then I found out I might be able to use NFE Tools (as recommended by you guys) to load it, but it still says incompatible.

Please, I would really heavily appreciate it if you guys can help me out here, or instead of saying "look somewhere else". Please. I've read through so many comments on here and reddit, at the very least, just link me to where this has been talked about would be so freaking helpful, you would not believe

Dab Scientist here seeking knowledge
Looking to purchase a Splinter, hopefully during the sale. Looking at the Splinter (US Birdseye Maple 2 Hole).

I have questions regarding connecting the Splinter to my current glasswares (14mm and 18mm).

I read in the fine print for the glass adapter from 420edc (https://www.420edc.com/accessories/glassware/19-22-us-joint-gong-glass-adapter/) :
" RastaBuddhaTao Compatibility: Milaana 2.0 and Splinter's produced from July 2018 forward use 19/19 glassware. None of the glass we currently sell is compatible with these newer RBT specifications. "

Is there a glass adapter anywhere out there that will work for this version of the Splinter?

Hi all just received my Splinter and have just finished my first bowl . Definitely hits the spot but there wasn’t much vapour really , maybe some wispy clouds a couple of times . Love the taste but must say I would prefer a bit more vapour I know it’s not important really but find a nice bit of vapour satisfying . Maybe I’m hitting it wrong any tips or advice please ?
