HAH! Love the 'model' they have (loosely) dressed in the cop outfit.

And a "Poker Chip Grinder"? Who in the hell vapes poker chips? :lol:


EDIT - A quick Google search doesnt turn up much, but from what I see on the few reviews - Its overpriced, and it quite often burns the herb.

Ill stick with my VG or an LB if I want portability.

#1 looks like a torch style lighter (blue blame lighter)
#3 would be the herb chamber
#4 looks like the rubber nipple from those bullet style metal pipes

#2 has to be some kind of heat defuser. (I would want to know more about that)

if this thing stays assembled as a one hand use item, it doesn't look too bad.
i'm just not sure about this and VG method of vape, pulling the combustion byproducts of the of the flame into the vapor path when vaping. If you heat up an element and then pull clean air across it you wouldn't get that, but then you're stuck with a too hot piece of glass or metal to put in your pocket.

OK! Received the Sneak-a-vape yesterday. First I must say that the Poker Chip grinder is pretty nice - 3-part stainless steel, 1-5/8" diameter with a kif screen. That said it is worth more than the sneak-a-vape itself. There are no instructions included. When I first lit the lighter (before assembling) it roared and spewed a 2-1/2" jet flame that scared me a bit. I turned it all the way down but it was still 1-1/2". No way to turn it down any more than that. So I forged ahead and put a little herb in the chamber. In the mouthpiece above the herb chamber there is a porous stone, I think it's pumice, to keep the herb from going into your mouth. I pressed the button like in the video and soon smoke (not vapor) was pouring out all over the place. I tried some but it tasted like plastic so I guess I'm done with this whole thing. One review I saw said it tasted better once it was "seasoned" but I have my doubts.

I'm pretty sure there is no way you could get vapor out of this thing as is. It is simply a Chinese export that is making some people money and taking money from others. I feel sorry for anyone who pays $40 for this thing, I should've just put my $16 in my MFLB fund.

gday cluffy, thanks for takin one for the team. Is there any chance that the pumice can fit between the flame and herb to diffuse the heat from the torch?

The chamber that the pumice is in is smaller in diameter than the spacer between the lighter and bowl plus the lighter is just way too powerful. I will admit that I loaded another bowl after the first one and enjoyed the novelty of the thing and the plastic taste faded. The thing works pretty well as a sneak-a-toke I must say. I still smoke and I'm not afraid of the plastic taste, I smoked cigarettes for 26 years. I prefer vaping now, but I'm thinking this thing would be great at concerts. it's not the stealth so much as the speed that's impressive. It's 5-1/4" long by 3/4" in diameter and you can pull it out, click, and instantly take a toke then slip it back into your pocket. It may come in useful after all. Still, the MFLB is next on the to buy list.

could you take off the lighter section and just hold up a lighter with a smaller flame?
I wonder if it might have worked had you gotten a better lighter with it.

When assembled, the screen that holds the herb is 5/8" from the top of the lighter. I've never seen a torch lighter with a flame that short. Whatever gets put in the sneak-a-vape is going to combust.

so what is part #2? is it just hollow or is it some kind of defuser?

and does it come with #5? :brow:

Yuck!

I don't like the idea of vaporizing with a lighter but if I wanted to do that I'd just get a VG bat.

For discreet smoking at concerts that's why there are those metal/glass cig bats or one hitters. ;) If you hit it right smoke doesn't pour out and you don't waste any smoke at all. I used to be big into them when I just blazed.

I've seen people take the tobacco out of a cigarette and put herb in or if they smoke cigs they just mix it all together and put some tobacco at the end of the cig so it looks like a regular cigarette. Other people just smoke pinner joints.
