A new color, fixed things from a rough roll out, and donate your old unit for $169? Perhaps an extra battery, a fast charger, and crucible holder should be included? Those have to all be high mark up items. 18650's are $7 retail ($14 for two like a MV1), the charger seems not complicated, and crucible holder is small and simple.

I say this because the trade-in deal kind of reminds me this:

When I was 7 years old, or so, my favorite animal was a tiger, and my grandfather gave me an nice tackle box for a present. My older brother wanted the new tackle box. So he put a new sticker of tiger on his old crappy tackle box that didn't work great. Selling me on the new sticker, he got me to trade my nice tackle box for the crappy one with the tiger sticker.

Just saying... the fixes and updates should be a part of a warranty service given the roll out. What's being purchased is a new color.

I wont get lots of likes with this post, but I doubt I'm the only one with same reaction.

Yeah, I wish it was optional and we weren't being forced to upgrade to the Stealth...

How's the FW5 going? I'm debating that one.

How's the FW5 going? I'm debating that one.

FW5 fits in your pocket, is much lighter, five smaller bowls get a heavy user medicated, and more tasty draws (only 2-3 hits per bowl, first one or two taste great). Much easier and much quicker to load, use, and clean. Cleaning is kinda optional for a very long time if u want versus MV1 is clean the lid every load and clean parts far more often. Change settings in a second or so with no weird lights.

You might get some bigger hits with a MV1 but I dont think so.

Basically, I'm waiting for the MV2. The FW5 at $225 is just a better deal. Anyone debating the trade in wont regret getting a FW5 instead. You'll have a nice home unit (MV1) and a sweet portable FW5

Right on. I only have a Sticky Brick as far as wood vapes go so the FW5 looks like it will be my first battery wood vape

Today is the last day to enter our giveaway contest. You have until midnight to post your favorite feature of the MV1. Click here to enter!

Good luck and a great weekend! :)

It says I don't have permission on that thread :(

Wow, this past week I was reminded of just how badass the MV1 is. The past few days I’ve been bouncing around portables and decided to fire up the MV1 again and man this thing is such a beast. This thing hits harder and tastes even better out of my collection of portables and it honestly just makes me more and more excited for the future of Ghost. I think once again the MV1 is back in my go-to position.

I finally picked up the crucible dispenser and oh man is this thing a game changer. It gives you not just one, not two, but FIVE preloaded crucibles ready to whack me in the face on the go or wherever I am. The majority of my complaints revolved a lot around the loading/unloading process, especially out and about, but the crucible dispenser solves all of that. Woohoo!

Can’t wait to get my hands on a Stealth!

Nice! Found a new use for the small pocket on a pair of jeans. Glorious!

A $10 camera case from walmart with a small side pocket will fit the MV1 in the main part. The dispenser, extra heat sink and pick will all fit comfortablyin the side pocket. The side pocket does look a bit hidden which adds a bit of stealth. The dispenser you just have to put one side at a time in at a time but this setup has been my go to for the last year.

A year later the MV1 is still my absolute favorite solo vape. In a group setting the mighty takes the cake but for daily, personal use the MV1 is what Im reaching for. Hits with the all in one adapter from ratchett on a D020D are amazing and even more monsterous on max setting but not needed and purely for enjoyments sake. Heading out to LA soon and the Ghost is taking another trip.

I will say that I did get iso on my black chrome and it did eat through the clear finish. I was NOT happy that I made that mistake and took the plunge and got the rest off with a bit more iso and a cloth. This makes the vape a huge fingerprint magnet but a wipe down keeps it looking brand new. Also lost a gasket that tore for my heatsink and luckily i have a few backups. Other than that the ghost has been trouble free and a great investment!

Has anyone else that purchased a Stealth had it ship yet?

Based on the info on the site my order should have shipped yesterday since I placed my order on Wednesday, but it's still processing.

I think they said units would start going out next week. Not 100% but I think I read it somewhere.. I’m anxious too :D
That Stealth will turn into my daily outside vape with the Chrome as the home vape.

When I ordered I went straight to the bundle page and ordered. Unfortunately for me the bundle page doesn't say anything about the shipping dates. Then the customer service person I talked to the next day on the 18th told me if should ship that day.

So now I have a longer wait than expected.

If they said same day then it may have gone out, maybe not. Contact them with your order# on Monday if you don’t get an email. They usually give tracking. When I’ve placed orders through them, order response time is generally pretty quick and then shipping is usually two day once it’s been fully processed.

It has not shipped, the second rep says he doesnt know when they will ship yet.

And ordering the bundle still doesn't say anything about the shipping dates.

Hi Everyone,

I just purchased my first vape, the ghost mv1 :)

Im very excited to use it and was wondering if there is anything I should expect or tips you might have for when It comes out of the box

Also are there any wpas that will work with it?

All the best,
Lawrence

Watch the videos.

I have my upper settings 4 and 5 at 408f and 428f. I generally go up from level 2 for two pulls at each level till 4 and then either rotate the crucible 180 degrees or stir then go another pull at 4 and then kill it at 5. Everyone kinda falls into their own groove during a session with it.

Bud consistency matters, so does pack. If it’s too wet and packed too tightly, it won’t feel right at the lower levels, just won’t vape right. Require stirring. Loose and drier filled to the top with a tamp works well. On the go blasting at level 4 and 5 works extremely quickly and well. I have a small draw string glasses pouch I toss it in to keep it from getting scratched in my pocket.

Most issues occur with the heatsink not being pushed down all the way into the unit or the assembly not being assembled correctly after cleaning. Thumb test it before placing back in unit. Your going to have fun :D

Keep it clean, especially the lids, and specifically the holes in the lids, between changing crucibles. When in doubt about performance, clean everything. Also get an extra battery and switch out when clouds become whispy or just switch for a fresh battery frequently.

Sneaky Pete has a Wpa and bubble straw on his site but save your money. I bought and it collects dust as this device doesn't need a wpa.

Keep crucibles clean.
Plan on a learning curve.
Stare at device and disassemble heatsink and pay attention to the seals .
