Is it still in TC mode ? @newjack88 or is it switched to power ?
Have you messed with the cold resitance ? (the number written on your battery door) Go check if it muches the number set in the tubo.
Then if problem still persists,check this faq on updating the firmware, it is the same as reseting the current one,but even after an update you still might need to dial in the resitance number written on your door.

I accidentally hit zero all on the coil that caused the issue. Set it to the normal number. All good now.

I only vape oil & all forms shatter mixed in ti or quartz cup at low temps.
I have a Volcano for when I used to vape weed & haven't used it in 5 yrs
Got a buddy who only wants to vape weed as conduction as my Volcano.
He got too high on a few hits of "QQ" & 92% thc oil & live resin mix and
wants to stick to weed vaping.
I am going to give him my Evic Dual to go along with the Volcano he has
for a portable option, as he sessions 2 or 3 times out at work for bad pain.
So what would be best in the current state of art as he will have the Evic Dual
with My Evic or AF installed as a start.(have two duals, testing what was better
in my Sai bucket myevic or AF. I was told either a Turb evic or DT v.2 ??
My buddy needs simple it works like volcano or else he's lost.

My wood Tubo stems (short and med) are at the post office near me. I hope to get them tomorrow or Friday.
I don't remember too many comment and reviews of the stems, the stems + glass and the stems + and Stems+glass + cooler.

Yeah with your tone Reddit seems more your style. And to be clear nobody owes you anything here. Too many times people come here and ask 50 questions that have been answered over and over. I sometimes answer them and other times I don't. But your assumptions there is some sort of conspiracy going on is a bit comical. You also might try the search function to help yourself but to come off like everyone is here to serve you may be the very reason you are not getting answered.
Now all that said I'll take the time.
As for the atty. If you already have mod box you should consider a purchase of the Tubo X. This doesn't include the battery and is a stand alone atty only. Information should be available on the manufacturer site.
The Tubo design (as well as Splinter and Mod Pod) compare very favorable to the DT v2. They heat up quicker and provide better vapor quality as they are convection instead of conduction.
That said they are larger and more expensive. Larger means less stealthy while and not able to blend in as well with the e juice world.
Splinter coil replacement should never be an issue but it has breakable glass.
Mod Pod requires coil replacement and glowing coils to work effectively but it's base is unbreakable.
Tubo x is closer to the Splinter with glass and it also has a cord that attaches from the 510 base. Best used through water where you can seperate the weight of the battery from the glass connection.
Don't get me wrong. DT V2 is great for what it is, especially for the price but there is a pretty good gap Gap in performance vs the others in my opinion.
Just understand that FC and Reddit have two different cultures. FC is typically a more mature crowd who are not afraid to do some homework on their own before shooting off questions. Reddit is typically a younger crowd that asks the same questions over and over and the answers provided are often inaccurate or suffer from group think.
Search function works well on both platforms.

I just NEVER answer any question as do the back reading yourself, lol.

I do like firing up the old Volcano with a nice new bag every now & then
to break up the routines of shatter, batter, badder, live resin & hash oil.
Never could get a satisfying hit off the concentrate pads though.

I polished the pin of the 510 connection of my TUBOx and now it performs better than ever. If it not pre-heated and i set cruise it pulls up to 175w at peak(which is the beggining of the hit) and then it maintains around 60-70w but it delivers thick clouds from the first hit...Tubo heater is space age, if suplied enough wattage it can deliver hits from cold equal to those when preheated,it virtually felt like braking the world record in quickness of vapor production,of course there is some toll on the battery life but it aint an issue with the Rx300 ! 
..
And just to clarify for those unfamiliar with the TUBO tech. Unlike in wattage mod it doesnt shoot constact wattage to the heater,so you never get red hot coils if adjusted properly,even at this high drain. Wattage consumption increases drasticly with the speed of inhalation,because the software detects the cooling from inhalation(drop in TCR) and balances it out with more power.,my personal record is 212watts...

i will swiss quality check them all and list them on the store shortly.
also we are nearing 2 years tubo. thank you very much for the long term reports, happy to hear the units work well! finally ill get out of warranty for the first few units, phew they seem to hold up quite well, had a few back with broken heater glass (not warranty) and some with coil connection problems (warranty). the latter less than 3%. former if i recall 5 total, so they seem also not to break that often which is great.
for the anniversary we will have a party i think, online of course. will announce more details soon.

hey @disGRUNTled, love seeing your posts on the forums, always sets a good vibe for me. but ive been wondering about the stem you have for your tubo; it seems really familiar but i cant quite find something like it, where'd you get it? and hows it perform?

HA, thanks mang ........The stem is the short one that came with the tubo. I like it I think I have read in this forum that it produces hot vapor , but I am a low temp guy highest I go on the Tubo is 355 very nice flavor and efficient as hell ..........

I've been using my X more recently and I'm impressed more and more. It's still kinda airy with my D020 but still fun. I'm getting great performance in cruise mode with the bent stem.
Is there a setting to adjust the temp by single degree rather than increments of ten? I have the fj evic firmware on a VTC Dual.
