Fenix 2.0

Good point, I didn't think about that. I like the size of the oven in the sutra/Fenix mini I've got better then the original Fenix. But I sometimes just fill the old Fenix half or 3/4 full and it still works good but don't know if this new Fenix 2.0 would be the same. IMO the Fenix and Fenix mini were hybrids and this Fenix says it's got new Air heated technology so I don't know if it's basically another hybrid or if it's really convection? I know originally the Fenix and Fenix mini said they were all convection, but like I said I see them as hybrids which isn't a bad thing since they worked well and I liked using them

after a few days of testing I can not say I'm completely satisfied with this product.

First of all I discovered that the mouthpiece spout can be detached and therefore completely disassembled for deep cleaning.

This vaporizer is almost perfect but has two big problems .

1 the mouthpiece will condense too much vapor and already after 2-3 blow you will have drops of resin that you can recover with a bit of wadding and then re-vaporize it in the chamber. The fenix mini in comparison produces much more steam with a smaller blow to equal temperature, and I've never found so much resin even after a week of use.

2 the heater does not keep the temperature, if I try to pull for example to 221c and also pulling not necessarily strong the display continues to mark 221c but as soon as you try to change the temperature with the keys updates the reading and find the temperature at 208-210, this is really a problem I do not know if the temperature I read is real but yes I take care of the fenix mini does not happen.

To finish excellent assembly, infinite battery, mouthpiece that cools the steam (too much), good taste, but it is not a real cloud machine like the fenix mini in terms of the amount of steam they took a step back :(

My Fenix mini does this with the temperature too. But the screen doesn't show it unless the change the temperature while taking a pull on it. Say I'm at 370 degrees and up it to 380 while I'm pulling on it when I stop I'll see the temperature has dropped below 370 and is quickly climbing back up. Don't know if you have ever tried that on a Fenix mini or not? I've got a sutra mini that's basically exactly the same as the Fenix mini with just a name change

In the fenix mini temperature drop for me is less noticeable than fenix 2.0...
however, I sent him back and I took a mighty....

Fenix 2.0 has great battery ,taste ,airflow ,heat up time... But the vapor condesate too mutch in the mouthpiece and compare to mighty produces less vapor

Oops. My bad. I somehow missed the "2" in the OP's headline. My apologies.

Modnote: Threads merged

Yeah the original Fenix was what healthy rips calls their force. It's also rebranded under a bunch of different names too. I think the 1st Fenix was being sold before any rebrands and they claim to own the patent? The Fenix 2.0 looks like the upgraded version of the original Fenix. The Fenix mini is basically the fury 1, sutra mini, quaint, hippie rebel, grindhouse shift, etc....

I wanna buy the Fenix 2.0 to try it out but I'd rather buy it from somewhere with those glass mouth pieces too but I can't find any places in the USA that sell them with it

When I saw those images last page of the darker shaded/black vape with bent stem and glass WPA like that,
I instantly formed the opinion that it could be a HealthyRips Force 2, as the Force 1 was the same shape as a Fenix 1, and it even had an added glass MP too.
I could be wrong, but it may help you eventually!

Yeah I was thinking that too and the stems gave me that ideai too. I'd love if that was the case and I'd buy 1 from healthy rips too if it happens soon. I read the fury thread alot and occasionally the fierce thread and haven't seen them mention it but may soon?

there's a guy selling those things under a "seshgear" brand on ebay for about $70.

I'd tell you what I think but I got no street cred here but if I did, I'd say it's about untouchable at that price, a fierce competitor with anything under $200 and a massive life sucking PITA to keep clean unless, you make the commitment to just wipe the mirrored surface EVERY TIME. Do That and it's great. Don't do it and it's a guaranteed bad time

I will send it back tomorrow, and have it replaced with the Fenix 2.0.

Great, since it looks like you will be the first to post about a true experience with this vape I will hear your feedback with a lot of interest. I don't plan to buy it but I always appreciate final user opinions about a new vape, personnaly I don't like the shape&design although this is not the more interesting part of a vape.

other than the cleaning PITA. that seshgear is a beast. HUGE performance envelope, big load, small load, hit it hard , light, there is zero learning curve. Turn it up to warp ten and you will think you are smoking a pipe. You damnsure won't be standing up against a black wall squinting for clouds.

I have the same drawer full of once loved, now boxed vapes as everyone else does, this ain't one of them

does anyone know what type of battery does this vape use ?
is it a single 26650 or 2x 18650 ? or some other type maybe ?

I know that. I was asking what type, not if it is removable or not. If it is a single 18650 or 2x 18650
It is a Lithium-ion LG 4400 mAh battery.
It is not a 18650 (which is basically a size, not necessarily a type of battery). Typically, if it uses an 18650 battery, it is removable (typically, not always!)

Edit: source for where I got battery info here: https://fenixvaporizer.eu/fenix-2-0/

I'ts the first vape Ive owned that will pass my personal need test of being able to run 6 cycles on warp 10 rerbefore the battery croaks. The last time I took that thing out of the house, it got used HARD with a bunch of show and tell around some people that were vape curious and I still came home with half a battery. I would have bet the ranch against that happening.

It was worth the $70 I paid for the first one. it was worth the $98 I spent on the back up I bought 3 weeks later. That price ain't staying anywhere near that. If they get stolen and the next one is $250, Imma be utterly PO'd but Imma buy it.

Just sayin" I've got a lot of good stuff from this board, This seems to be the first thing of value I've been able to give back.

Withold judgement on that thing. Sooner or later someone you trust will back me up. If you have some coin to play vape games with, this would be a good gamble for you.

...and if you are looking for a vape with low draw resistance, your hunt is over

Hi @HAL9000 , I'm waiting for a unit too and you can expect a review from myself after a deep testing!

About the fact some vapes condensate more resin in the vaporpath... I noticed that and I agree my Fury (similar to Fenix mini) produce a lot less reclaim in the mp than somes others. In a rig, while dabbing, you get more reclaim from high temp dabs than from low temp dabs... before I switched from a torch to an enail my concentrate rig was full of grams of build up resin, this is never happened again since I use lower temp.... maybe it might be the same for flowers.

Mine just arived today.
My first impression is that its well built and a well tought design.
The air path is completely separeted from pcb solder, and it feeds trough the bottom of the vape.
After 3 x 7 minute runs @ max temp (221C) it still has 4/4 battery lines after it cooled down.
The vapour production is good. better than the flowermate v5s pro but more similar to the Linx Gaia.

The only slight inconvenient is that you should clean the mouthpiece after every use, but i find it easy to do right after the session, just by wiping it with a dry paper napkin, when its still warm.

overall, i am very happy with it and i believe it will be a long lasting one

Got mine yesterday too... first impressions are not good cause the device stinks, after a few burnoffs and a 3 bowls it's still very present at the point I'm not feeling safe to puff on it. This is remenber me the Titan's factory taste.
But the bad doesn't stop here cause I didn't got a good vapor production although I haven't tested all the tricks, it's strange cause the abv looks pretty dark after a 6mn session. It looks like it's working like a true convection device though... but not consistently. Under the bottom screen you can see the red glow heating element (pancake style coil I bet) even using a 380° heating setting.

I agree with the previous comment about the not reliable t° gauge, when I change settings too I can see a drop of 8-10°F under my setting.

I was a lot more positive about the previous Fenix device but this one looks like a fail although it might be prematured to assume that sort of opinion so I will say: More to come....
