planning on getting the sai tomo but the top flow is out of stock. I kinda wanted to get the top flow. Is it superior over the original? I cant see how the ti bucket would be that much better as most people hate dabbing off ti. I dont want huge clouds just nice flavor. Im ok pressing the button a few times. Should i wait for the top flow or get the bottom? Are there any other pros to the top flow?

I know this haha. i just want to know whats better about it.

EDIT - I have found the top flow in stock on a canadian website. I only like ordering from the supplier or in canada so my problem has been solved. getting the top flow.

The Buckets only work with Top Airflow. Buckets offer better taste than any coil option. Even a Ti bucket will give you better flavor than any coil. And buckets are far easier to clean. Cleaning coiled atomizers is a pain in the ass.

So I got the top flow sai in the mail. I was wondering what the resistance should read on the TI skillet? does it matter? It just resets if i change it. Also can you use the TI skillet without the skillet? could you unscrew the ti piece and use the ceramic donut underneath? thanks so much

Yes you can, but why gunk up the heater for the Ti Bucket.

If you don't use AF set stock TCR 315 @40watts 320-390 temp
Make sure you read back a few pages and screw in atty in proper
order or you will crack the donut heater. There is a quartz insert
coming for what you bought, that will be an option for Ti cup.

Well I was wondering because my unit came with 2 ceramic donuts and one has the screw mount for the ti bucket and the other is im assuming the bottom airflow setup version. Can you use the bottom airflow donut without blocking the top flow? are both the ceramic donuts i have essentially the same but one can fit another bucket if i need it too? I have these three coils

  1. 1 Titanium Bucket Coil (Donut + Bucket) installed
  2. 1 Ceramic Donut Coil For Titanium Bucket (without bucket)
  3. 1 Ceramic Donut Coil (Standalone)

1 & 2 are Heater Coils Leave one as a spare in case you either screw on atty wrong and push pin thru donut heater or you follow bad instructions and use TC Ni and melt the legs on the 10 mm ceramic donut heater.

#3 Vape off this donut with Sai preset 10 mm in AF download ,
it's great with settings all done with the AF download.
Took me 8 mins to install, works perfect on 3 of my atty's.
I just use the Ti Skillet combo got it so dialed in & so easy to clean.
Load and sip for 5-6 hrs thru bubbler & bong. 330-240 Up it to 390
vape it totally clean once TCR is dialed in for mod.

Thanks so much. I think I may stick with the Ti skillet for everyday use. I think I will try NI 380f @35w to start and adjust from there. Do I have to use the top airflow blocker tho if i want to try the ceramic donut #3 the standalone one? I plan on just trying it in VW mode at 10-15w for some flavor.

It don't work like that.
Ok Good luck, have fun experimenting.
Without TCR you are going to have to pulse & guess.
I laid it out perfect for you, just follow the instructions
and you would be done already for all those atty's, lol.
My live resin & sauce is way to tasty & valuable to hack
it and burn it like that.

The Grove 4am - 7 am 15% off all

Been a while since I've been to the Grove. I can make that time on my way to work, so I'll check out their menus again. Thanks! I went to MMJ for the first time last week. They have a good selection of concentrates for about $30 a half gram (I know we're still $$$) and was the first time I saw a saucy concentrate with diamonds in it in Las Vegas (was called Bruce's Zombie Revenge from MPX, and they ran out quick).

Anyways, enough of me derailing this thread. Anyone have the quartz inserts yet!!??? Based on the way it looks, it seems like it should be able to heat up just as fast and hot as the Ti bucket - at least I hope.

Got to go check that place out.

I been checking everywhere but no one seems to have quartz inserts yet.
The ones I was experimenting with are too tall and thick.
Not enough air flow & without metal ring collar jumps around on heater.
A ss screen does a fair job of keeping it in place.

If you are getting wispy hits at TCR 315 @40 wts 320 - 380 then something not right.
Those setting are not right, will fry the legs on your donut heater.
take it apart & put it together in the proper order, as the guide says.
I did tune it in perfect with just evic software, but AF download took 2 mins to
have everything already set, awesome.
You can use it like that, but I use half the oil in TCR & can hit it
for 5-6 hits off very little at 320 - 330.
If it works right the @40 watts just gets me to temp in 3 seconds
and hits smooth for the next 12 seconds, then I press again for another
15 seconds straight. The other Ni200 setting blackens & ruins the taste.
Too hot as after temp hits TCR levels at 20 watts for the entire 25 second
cool smooth hit.
I think you 10mm donut heater is not making good contact on the bottom
of the Ti/bucket, happened to me also.

How could running something at the manufactures recommended settings be not right? I have taken it apart a few times. I have read on how to properly assemble it. 320F is just barely even hot enough to vaporize thc even if the bucket was at that temp. Lowering the tc value from around 5-600 to 315 when the ceramic donut is heated with Nickel seems silly to me. I am just going by what it says on the manufactures website and it is working? I do not see how it could be wrong. I can still get vapor at tcr 315 its just not enough.
