Because of his color. When he was a puppy he was really blue. And I always liked Gonzo from the Muppets since I was a kid.
And Dr. Gonzo out of F+L in LV is my alter ego :brow:

Pikes are delicious. You only have to process them a bit intenser cause of their fucking fishbones. Best is to wolf them and to make fish balls or pie out of them. The Lake at my house is full of pikes, pike-perches (=Zander, @stark1), perches and eels. Love to eat fish...

Mercury levels are above recommended safe levels in Germany, so is it safe to eat fish caught in
The local lakes, especially after heavy rainfalls?

Pikeperches are not pikes? Havel Zander in post industrial Berlin?

I am crazy as a loon vaping VapCaps, would hate to become a mad as a mad hatter.

Sorry, I am sure this is common knowledge here but saw this in a video and I have a question.
M vapcaps can be used with 10mm male waterpipe joints? How do I find a little bubbler that fits? As in any recommendations?
My M works not at all with the plastic mouthpiece in a 14mm female joint. My OG glass works pretty well with some 14mm female joints - but not all.
Do I have more options? Will 14mm female work with either? Or is it just the 10mm male that I saw in the video. Is there a 10mm female?
With the M I suspect the rubber mouthpiece is too loose and the seal leaks. But it could be the outer diameter too. Anyone having success with the M and mouthpiece.
I know I researched it once but you can't convert the M to using a nong? There was some aspect of it that was cost prohibitive or I would have done it.

I wrap a rubber band around the vape stem and jam it into a 14 ml low profile adapter that fits
My 18ml do20 bubbler. I keep saying I'll get something else, but it works so well I just never got around to it. You can block the carb on the vapcap with the band. Huge rips, kill a full bowl in one!

so you mean a regular rubber band around the bare M? yes I am trying on a 18mm with dhgate reducer to 14mm. rubber mouthpiece does nothing on my M. Does not work with my OG glass either though.

Weird. The fat rubber mouthpiece makes a great seal around every 14mm glass connection I've used it with.

Of course it's easier if you also cover the carb hole with a little piece of silicon hose or just a piece of tape, rather than having to find and hold the carb hole for each hit because you'll need to have the carb hole closed for the whole hit when running your Dynavap vaporizer through a water piece.

Got me an Aomai lighter from Dynavap, first thoughts are its nicely built but not as quiet as i would have ideally liked the switch to turn the gas off gives a little click and the flame seems alot louder than my honest torch flame i found it quite loud. Will check it out properly tommorow.

FYI uk readers LBC radio having a conversation on cannabis its an interesting listen.

Been gone months... like 10 or so... but started back slowly vaping again...

Nice to see some of the old heads around!

Dogs, fishing and alcohol? I'd fill this thread up with pictures :D

Was using the sbM when I started back vaping, really missed my old school omni ti.... ordered the new ti omni.. it's ok.... I like the look of the older design more..... but the main thing... this thing gets HOT... like after 2 caps it will burn you right above the carb hole... WTF? anyone else notice this?

Two caps in one session? Oof. Maybe I’m just getting old, but I barely make it through one full cap in a session if the stuff is decent. Often I’ll take 2 hits and come back to it in a little.

2 BIG hits. (Trying to feel better about my tolerance. Lol!)

@CalyxSmokr I took the "Fat Mouthpiece" and cut off rings 3/8" long. Used it for closing the carb, also will work in a 14mm glass joint as a quick vong on most "M"s. I also use hookah hose grommets I pick up at a local hookah shop. They are little silicone cones. Work great for sealing up around out of round wongs.

Would I hurt the tip O-Rings soaking the tip in iso? I have an SS tip that was accidentally combusted through (again) and I want to give it a very thorough clean instead of just scraping and brushing the shit away. Thank :^)

or is it a 10mm female that works with the M?
this would suggest so: https://www.sneakypetestore.com/pro...er-for-dynavap-davinci-iq?variant=42309704006
So I can grab any tiny 10mm female bubbler off dhgate?
Yes, 10mm female for the m, 14mm female for the m wearing a rubber mouthpiece.

per George, the new o-rings are iso safe.

An ISO wash from time to time doesn't really matter. The o-rings are formerly damaged by a-/dessambling.
Give PBW a try. No aroma of smoke will remain and your tip/condenser is getting clean as new. And it doesn't damage silicone in any way.

I get a big kick from the ingenuity and imagination of users in the VC threads. I greatly admire such efforts and in no way have any interest in discouraging them. I myself got some needle files early on and and notched the grooves of my M17 tip to slightly increase airflow, tho I have not done so with my M18
That being said I would like to remind folks that there is a great deal of engineering in the VC design and quite a bit of research and testing, including that which we have provided as users, and while over time the tips have continued to be developed and improved, there has been no (or little) attempt to radically increase the airflow in the tips. I think the reason for this is most likely that by increasing airflow we reduce the amount of time the air is in close proximity (and under pressure?) to the hot cap (and to what ever degree the tip) where the heat is coming from therefore reducing vapor production. The cap is less than an inch (+/- 15mm), after all, and not a very long path for air to flow and get hot.
You each can evaluate the effectiveness of your mods and how well they improve your experience, but that I think is what increasing airflow too much might result in and what you need to watch for in trying to make hitting a VC easier.

Just thinking out loud... ;)

I love my moded ss tip. It works great !

I've found that PBW cleans metal really well, but seems maybe ISO cleans glass a little better?
Might be just me.
But ISO with coarse salt added in cleans glass with just some good shaking about as good as anything else I've tried. PBW does a great job of cleaning my M18, just seems to take a bit more time to throughly rinse off.
Really like the cleaning power of both, can't do wrong with either I guess.

I still have to try PWB with my VC's but for glass, it has proven more effective than ISO (to my surprise) to remove unpleasant smells from glass pieces. Just my experience.
