Time to pick another vape … Is This VAS??

Whips used to be my main way to vape SSV and the like. I ditched the use of the whip when I realized it was one of the most unsanitary methods to vape. It is nearly impossible to sanitize even a slightly used whip. No disrespect intended.

Soaking in alcohol will not work? What do you use instead?

I agree. Whips get super dirty. The one on my Vapir Rise 2.0 is so gross and can’t clean it. Gotta replace the silicone tubing which bothers me. One of the reasons that vape doesn’t get used as much as it use to.

If the vape uses silicone or flexible type tubing I avoid them. I try to keep my vapor/air path glass, stainless steel, and titanium and try to use as little silicone as possible. It is nearly impossible to avoid silicone completely and it is pretty much non toxic but as whip/tube it does not clean well.

I put my whip silicon tubing in vegetable steamer for 20-30 minutes.
reuse the whips for a dozen or so cleaning

Do we question ourselves if we have more than one glass from which to drink? Or more than one mode of transportation? Come over. Come over to the Dark Side of VAS. It is surmised that the number of vapes you own is directly correlated with the amount of discretionary income you have. Pay no attention to that bromide in this Age of Revolving Credit. You still have time to order before Christmas!

I think I needed to hear this! Today I had almost convinced myself to just get some new lighters for my vapcap. Regardless of need I want a new vape to try. It might turn out I prefer my vapcap, but I wont know until I try.

I appreciate everyone's opinions, the discussion has helped me think about some issues I hadn't considered. I'm not sure which vape I will try next, but I do appreciate the handmade wooden vapes as blending function and aesthetics. This is something I have always liked about glass smoke ware. Finding similar qualities in a vape to a pipe gives me a sense of comfort.

Please forgive me if this is a dopey comment I literally don't know what day it is at the moment ( well alright it's Tuesday but half an hour ago I had to think hard I thought it might be Sunday! True story and an indication of my messy level of stonesnes in life).

So I am rather prone to forgetting myself in the threads and posting out of place or too little too late. What can I say except this year's harvest is fucking me up!
But have a look at the Splinter. I forget if it has been mentioned already but it does genuinely look like a really good option and comes with very high praise and is growing more popular it seems and standing up against other devices.

Also quite cheap for what you get and people are saying it can practically rival a plug-in device similar to the tubo. They also have a new model just out which is even more powerful called the Splinter Z. It looks very good. So def consider these. George from Vapefiend seems to love them big time. Here are a few vids he has done. He did one of them yesterday comparing the Splinger to a very similar device which has also just come out call the Stempod.

The Splinter Z will be more powerful than the stempod so keep this in mind if this is what you are looking for but from the video and George's comparison he gives the nudge to the Splinter, based on his overall personal preferences of course. Personally I also prefer the look and sound of the Splinter all things considered.

Anyway I hope you can manage to get another vaporizer which you enjoy I think it will unquestionably enrich your overall experience of things. Good luck keep us posted whatever happens.

Right, MORE vapcaps then back to bed for me! :leaf::zzz:

Honestly I don't know how people use these convection portables, even through water tools the vapor is harsh to me.

I use them because they allow me to medicate better and faster. I use what I need for pain and takes forever to get medicated using a session conduction vape. I need a higher heat than most and conduction lets me get into the higher temperature vaping that brings me the most pain relief.

If harsh I would look at the vaporizer. A lot older ones where harsh.

I been on the convection wagon for years. With the 510 vaporizer on a good mod like DNA has been a major upgrade for me. Don't even miss the elevape (maybe a little) I don't find these 510 device very harsh in TC mode.

Maybe you're an iron lung type, convection vapor in that short of an air path is very harsh to me. Convection vapor even through my 2 foot bong is still pretty harsh over time.

My suggestion was to squish the flowers on a rosin press, which could then be used in various portable wax vaporizers; not to use a session flower vape.

I'd recommend the Lil Bud over the Fury 2 for your checklist. I love my Fury 2 and it's my first non-cart choice for vaping out. The flavor can't compare to the Lil Bud and I prefer the experience and the effects of the LB as well. It's just too big for my pocket personally and like many convection devices it prefers occasional stirring.

Healthy Rips has the Fierce coming out in a week with a preorder discount still available I think. That'll have a bigger bowl, epic battery with USB C charging, and better designed glass accessories. Bigger and more expensive too though. And nobody knows how good it is either since it's new.
