What does dialing in a banger give over Herbie experience? Thanks

For me it's a smoothness thing - with a nail I'm using conduction which is much more gentle on my throat than the hot air from the high temperatures needed to vaporize concentrates with convection.

You really need an e-nail for an experience that is as simple and consistent as your Herbalizer! Set it and forget it!

I have smoked over 12 years that begun with cigarettes in my tennager years, later than i have found my love for herbs but still have it smoked.
On my beginning 20's i have quit with cigarettes and only smoked herbs, after a severe throat disease I knew it can not go on like this.

I had only experiences up to that point with an arizer EQ from a friend but it was only 3-4 times and when i use it ever i had smoked before so i have not found much benefits from it.

Then last year i found the Dynavap M and thought for this price i can not go wrong and have buyt one and with that, another world has opened for me,I have never smoked again since he arrived. The flavour and the efficience was very impressing for me i fell in love from the begining :)

I got my first vape (1st gen. Pax) in January of 2013. Haven’t combusted since (except for a couple of accidents while learning to use my DynaVap M and my Sticky Brick Jr.).

In Dec. of 2014, I replaced the Pax with a Crafty. The Crafty was replaced under warranty in the fall of 2016, and the replacement unit is still going strong.

I got curious about DynaVap products, due to all the hype they were getting over at r/vaporents, so I bought one of those in 2017. After getting my feet wet in the butane vape category, with the M, VAS struck again and I bought a Sticky Brick Jr. a year ago. Between the Crafty, M, and SBJ, I feel like I have all the bases covered at this point.

I've never been a tobacco smoker, and hadn't been regularly smoking cannabis long before discovering vaping a year ago. That was it, I haven't voluntarily combusted, and it tasted terrible when forced to. If I had to combust or quit, I'd quit. Madri-Gal gets headaches from mj smoke, and I wouldn't want to bother him. I don't want the smell in my clothes, hair, home or car. My asthma has improved, and I don't want it getting worse. Vaping has been life altering to the good.

I just came into this thread to see if anyone els was complaining over headaches from combustion,

Quit combustion around 3 years ago, but took a few puffs on a J last night, and it gave me insane tension headache, even continued into the next day (lasted for 2 days total)

And i do see some people in here that feel the same way, so maybe it isnt just me!

I definitely don’t feel that good after smoking, that’s for sure. LOL

I just found out that there was also tobacco mixed in that joint, That makes more sense... Cuz I do remember being able to combust a small pibe of good herb without issues, it just has that wierd burnt taste ofc,

I was wondering if we can attribute some of the increased effects i feel from vaping vs combusting to the preservation of terpenes from only exposing the plant oils to lower temps, and not flash-heating to 1000c maybe,

Yup, it helps to not torch the terps.

I hope you have recovered from your headache. :leaf:

@Abysmal Vapor thanks man! I was a smoker for about 20 years (and a grower for the last 4 )so I had to keep my interest going :D...The money I saved from smoking made it easier ,too ;) Also this forum doesn't help with VAS...For instance, you just helped me break my promise that I would wait till 420 to get a new vape  And I think there is way more temptation now than 10 years back ,right? :p

Old & In the Way
Used to smoke up to 60 filterless cigs *and* about half a dozen of fat joints per day, started vaping both e cigs and vaporizers almost two years ago, smoked my last joint about 1½ year ago. Won't go back, fuck combustion.
I had somewhat similar history though not exactly the same path to combustion fucking.
My hope for you is; 1. that the ceasing combustion of cigarettes has been or will soon be added to your list, and 2. really, when it comes down to it, fuck the nicotine too (& vape juice). I don't mean to sound condescending, but that would really top off your resume!
The most impressive (among many) & clearly noticeable benefit to me is, as I've said before, air starts to taste fucking great...

I stopped smoking entirely, including cigarettes, that joint was the last time I combusted (at least intentionally). Nicotine by itself is actually harmless (as recent studies show) and I don't plan to quit it. E cigarettes were one of two keys for me to stop destroying my lungs, I'm grateful for both.

I'll simply add that I would consider highly suspect any 'study' that declares nicotine harmless to humans.

By „harmless“ I mean „harmless the way I use it / it's most commonly used“. While nicotine has a lethal dose, it's actually not very easy to kill someone with it, it's not carcinogenic etc. There's no reason for me to stop enjoying it.

I quit smoking about 2 years ago. Although I have damaged my lungs through years of abuse, at least the chronic bronchitis has stopped. I need steroids less, and I only need about one inhaler every 6 months, which is good for a asthmatic who has smoked every substance known to man during his hay day. My lungs now are only further damaged because I overindulge and cough to hard, but other than that, I feel that vaping has little to no negative effects on my respiration. This is huge, and I aggressively advise all who use cannabis to vaporize exclusively (or only light up for ritual, special occasion, etc.). People often forget that vaping is dabbing flower, arguably a much more potent path to medication, and that the other high is due to toxic exotic polymers and asphyxiation. If you are into that, huff a bag of paint and choke yourself

Exactly. My story is similar. I was smoking about 30-40 unfiltered rolling-tobacco cigs/day for years and switched to e-cigs 6 1/2 years ago. I quickly began making my own e-liquid and building my own coils in RDAs, so the cost is mere pennies/day and I've never felt better in my life. Finally managed to switch to vaping cannabis when I got my first Dynavap on 11/8/19, and haven't combusted since.

No plans to either unless I am travelling somewhere and am uneasy taking a vape with me. Even then, if edibles are an option I'll choose those. I'm actually thinking about one last joint, though. I never really smoked joints very often, but I'm considering rolling a joint of CBD flower just to have a "finale" like I did with cigs. IDK, but fuck combustion :)
