I've been working on something that I feel is really missing from the Evo. I started designing a tool holder / bamboo guard and I think it's finally gettin somewhere.

Works and loads perfectly for me.
Access box is centered and where it has always been.
I would try restarting your PC and try again!
I think you can zoom out to make the box accessible. If on a Mac, press [Command+Minus] to zoom out (and [Command+Plus] to zoom back in). On a PC, I think it's [Control +/-] for the same thing. Your browser probably also offers a Zoom In/Out option under the "View" menu (or maybe "Edit").

I leave my ELBs in alcohol for months at a time. No worries.
Absolutely. ELB's are stainless steel.
A small, jam sized, wide-mouthed Mason jar works great. I always have had a large amount of ELBs circulating through service. Shake it up every once and a while. Eventually you can have some nice reclaim if you wish.
Somehow got some insane info on the evo 2, I was on the phone and they didnt realize they picked up. It started "I know i am not very knowlegable to how all this works", speaking to an engineer i imagine. Then they went on to say how they want to get rid of the hard shell evo and make it silicone. Reason is because they no longer the need for a heat shield, but they want to find a way for it not to be opened(idk how they would do that). Also right now they have absolutley no way to tell if you water damage your info. Went on the say word for word "We want to make money off of rapairs" and want to incorporate a "iphone type of tech" to tell if you got your system wet. This is when she kinda realized i was on the phone n hung up.
Thanks for the support @lazylathe @Stu. It's great not having to worry about my bamboo breaking, thats got to be the main motivation behind this design. Having a place to put all my tools is nice too

I bought some 10mm glass straws, cut them to size and fit some 3d printed mouthpiece guards to protect from shattering like my Extreme Q mouthpiece.

This tool holder is proving to be much more functional than I anticipated. It gives my whip a place to sit and the lid/stabilizer reduces airflow restriction. Now I'm able to draw from my Evo while it rests on my bed when I couldn't before because the airflow was always blocked by my comforter.

Diameter of Hydra Honeycomb holes?
Hi,
I found a great way of cleaning a hydra tube!!
Instead of messing about with salt, use FINE! sand. Cleans it up perfectly.
I however found out that my sand had small rocks in it the hard way..
My Hydra Honeycomb has a stone jammed in one of the pinpoint holes at the top percolation bit. (honeycomb)
I'm actually looking to sell it fast so am really bummed that this happened.
Does anyone know the diameter of the pinholes/honeycomb holes in the Hydra Honeycomb?
I'm going to try and buy some thin metal wire and poke this single stone through.
(I've tried a hoover, water..... everything but more sand in case there are more rocks to deal with.)

By chance have you tried pushing water thru in both directions?
I use a dehumidifier hose, it has the correct fitting on one end for a hose bib and 10'of 5/8" tubing. A double ended barb and a size 1(?) stopper makes for a great cleaner.
You may be able to push it out with water pressure?

Would you recommend a stopper plugging one end of the hydra tube whilst using a hose on the other?
I'm going to try water pressure.... and more, sand.. (without small rocks)
Then I don't know what to do, only thing i can think of is getting some extremely thin gauze metal wire and trying to poke it out, which will be arduous.
I would need to know how thin the wire would need to be, if it comes to this. So frustrating.

No plugs! We need water flow.
Which ever side you put the sand in from, the other gets the hose. I'm thinking we can push the pebble out the directing it went in.
I don't think the faucet alone will do it.... Hot water, might make the glass swell a bit, and slowly ramp up. Unless it's really wedged, I think we have a good chance here.

Sand definitely doesn’t sound like a good option at all. I’d much rather use some kosher salt than deal with pebbles in my perc. Good luck getting that pebble out.
