Thanks for the answers!i am getting better results. I dont have the wpa but i have the glass bubler and i am playing a lot with it.
Butane powered vaporizers are a different thing(there is s lot of power in a torch) and some of them are very underrated, but i am learning how to enjoy my fury.
i like my fury now more than the first day and i think that is only the beginning.
thanks again for your advices and for the warm welcome!

I do not think this is the issue
At 221c the avb should be rather brown

Exactly so. This seems to leave only two possibilities, either it's not really our favorite herb in there or the load really isn't at 221C. Since the OP gets good results with the same stash in his other vapes we can eliminate that? That leaves a defective unit or poor technique. Such a defective unit (incorrectly displaying too high a temperature) would be the first such report that seems unlikely.

The fact that the OP now reports better results (more in line with what all the rest of us enjoy) with a change of technique it seems to indicate @Vitolo was right.......again.

We had a similar thing happen on the ArGo thread a few weeks back. A new owner complained his unit failed to make reasonable vapor despite his best efforts. He'd had it replace a couple of times and it still didn't work. The chances of 3 such defective units in a row, all to the same guy, are not realistic in a proven device......it had to be something else. It was, the fellow wasn't inserting the stem fully......... I forget which of 'the usual suspects' got straight to the heart of the issue, but such diverse experience and 'fresh eyes' to bear on problems is a true strength of this Forum. Collectively we help a lot of good people get on board. Time for a collective bow.......

Regards to all.

You mean a bong right?

I got a sake bottle bong, works great with my fury but it won't stand up with the vape attached which is slightly dodgy for me since the sake bottle feels basically like a beer bottle and I instinctively try to put it on a coaster after a 'swig'. Also the risk that I'll swig from it.

Mobius sidecar has a vertical joint in the middle of the bong so looks stable, I only ordered mine this weekend though so can't give a first-hand review.

I have a new handful of Low income patients that are "Rockin' The F2".
They all love it. They're already pros at using the dosing capsules too!
Most are senior citizens... all chronically or terminally ill.
4 are over 70....
1 is 88!!!!!
She loads and goes like she was a youngster like me. (I am 67).
She is not the oldest vaporist I have worked with, but she uses the hell out of her F2 and she knows about @HealthyRips.com and FC and wanted me to send her love to everyone.

Any recommendation for small sturdy percolators/recyclers/vortexes/whatever to go with the WPA?
Sidecar is Ok (t is a bit restrictive so I only use it with my Plenty) for the F2, but the following shits on it in everyway except glass thckness, I have recommended it to a few people and all were very happy;

Knock off of a D-020d knock off, great value. The only one better in my collection is the FC-MOD with a Vapexhale Hydratube Mouthpiece and that is only used more than the one above because I can take it apart and clean it in my dishwasher each night.

WOW,
this black pebble is smaller than I thought.
Nice feel in my "furry hands"

havent used the herb of choice in it yet.
Only sage.

the chamber is quite big I must say.
I am a microdosing guy (Vacap Ti chamber in the smallest setting).

You folks think I could use the included steel-wool pad as a chamber reducer ?
Whats the smallest load the fury can operate with ?

I suppose you could, but IMO SS is a poor material choice for this job. It has a higher 'specific heat' than say cotton or ABV and therefore will 'soak up more heat' in the cycle. Heat that could otherwise make vapor. It's also a poor conductor of heat so it will be slowing up the show for a longer time than necessary.

There is nothing magic about this or any other vape WRT efficiency I think. The smallest load useful depends on how much THC you need to deliver? F2 can be depended on to do a good job with extraction and delivery, but you have to put it in to get it out......

Your call, but I suggest you follow SP's advice and try loading the capsules first? You can partially load them easier than the main chamber I think.

I know about the capsules.
they are 15EUR plus 7EUR shipping for me.
thats 22EUR = 25$
quite expensive

I'll have to wait until I can justify this investment.

The Fury can work with tiny amounts. I have put in a few crumbs and felt the effects.
However, it won’t give you major clouds or flavor with a small amount.
Microdosing with the WPA gives me the best results.

You can also use the WPA as an all glass mouthpiece that also reduces chamber size.

I like the glass bent stem for micro dosing. I think it's the best option for taste as well.

Ah okay
I see what you meant

BTW did you really, and who are these people that are putting mixed herbs in their vapes?

Am I the only one who cooks with my other herbs and vapes only one herb in my vape?

If I want a room diffuser or humidifier/vaporiser I will get a separate one for the purpose....

No dig at those that do, but yer.....I buy my vapes for weed....

Glass bent stem goes good as a secondary wpa too....just use a grommit on end

My cat vapes catnip in my fury 2, lol. Joking, but I have vaped lavender flowers before. I've demonstrated vapes in a public library at a local compassion club meeting using lavender flowers as well. Nice taste, and relaxing but no buzz.

Here's a nice link

In my books, this is correct on both counts.
If using a space blocking device, cotton in prior to the herb will leave the cotton clean, while at top, the cotton will collect oils (but they are being vaped anyway... together in that load, or seperately by ityself).
You could also load in an upside down small domed screen (some stem users make an edge with a press.. very much like the capsules themselves in nature) to make a tighter load.
@OF is also correct in that:
you have to put it in to get it out......
I found that I can load the chamber full... and takes two hits, and power down... then take a last hit to cool the contents and oven down, and come back later.
I have made one load last for 3 sessions.

I have a 10" long piece of 4x2 with a heap of holes bored into it (not right through) to hold these stems, VapCaps, A/A stems, q-tips, dabbers and test tubes with Iso etc. Not flash like some I have seen, but a whole lot more practical and cheap.

I really wanted to like this vape. I really did.
But somehow it seems flimsy can cumbersome to me.
Made in china from "a factory".

yes yes, uuuh HR puts all this effort in emphasizing that the air and vapor path are food grad silicone and glass and soo soo clean.
makes me wonder.

just me?
