Opaque provides tons of vape and has a cleaner taste than SiC. On top of that, its much cheaper than SiC.

If I wasnt using Sapphire and Ruby inserts, i would only be using the full opaques inserts or possibly just using these opaque bangers.

For those that havent tried or dont know yet. www.710coils.com can get you an opaque flat top banger in 3 days for $45 shipped. You get GE214 quartz, 3mm thick walls, beveled top edges for bubble caps and thick opaque bottom. All you have to do is figure out what size you want! 25mm or the larger 30mm.

The issue is after my hit the floor is sticky and still has a thin layer of wax it seems. Am I too low on temp possibly or too high? What could be going on? When I would torch this would not happen.

Edit: I was going in way too ! I dropped the controller temp to 580F and I am already seeing better results. I should have been obvious but the sticky bottom was the only thing making me question if it was too low. I will have to get some new temp measuring tools but in the meantime I should be able to adjust to the best temp for my throat and flavor profiles using this as a base point of reference.

im at 515 with rosin, 530 was too high apparently.

Just got back from the delivery office :)
Everything arrived in one piece, thanks @710Coils :)

The guy at the post office was asking me if I still wanted it, lol
He was telling me he thought it was a complete rip off and the reason I was hit with extra charges was because the value of the goods were shown on the label on the box.
He also mentioned if the value had been left off or been marked as $15 it would have just gone through and would not have incurred any extra fees.
I already knew, but it kinda surprised me to hear him saying this tbh.

First impressions, I was REALLY surprised how light and flexible the coil wire is, (having only owned cheap coils before) and the sleeving is of a much higher quality.

The 30mm opaque bottom quartz banger is HUGE lol :)
I'll have to see how tippy it makes my glass piece. Hopefully I can position it so it's not too front heavy.

I wish I had some decent shatter or something to try in it, but I purchased a little q of strawberry haze a couple of nights ago, so I'll have to try squashing a bit.

Lucky boy - congrats! Yep, never saw a company here on FC with such an outstanding CS as Shane is doing. Hope he can hold the standard when wheels of business are turning faster - and they will for sure.
Who is able to resist high-quality products+reasonable prices+great CS?

Complete noob here, please excuse the lack of knowledge and feel free to edumedicate me ;)
Managed to ditch work. Squashed a gram of strawberry haze which had a pretty decent yield..

Initially I set the auber 300 controller to 510f and let it sit for a few mins with 2 terp pearls in the banger.

Tried a dab and although it tasted quite nice initially, it took me multiple pulls to still not really finish it.

Tried again at 520 and 530 but unable to finish the dab in one. Or maybe I have and the rest should just be mopped up with qtips??
I'm not sure if I'm doing large enough dabs too as I'm not really seeing thick milky clouds.

Also cleaning..
I'm using qtips after every dab and dipping in purified water but I can't seem to keep the base of the banger spotless. There's a brown ring on the side opposite the coil handle. Does this matter? If it does, does anyone have any tips to remove it between dabs?

I used 2 clips, but one band:

I'm not sure if the cap is sealing properly when swirled. I'm just waiting for the banger to cool so I can check it properly.

I will say after 3 dabs I'm pretty stoned tho lol :smug:


[Edit] yes, because the gordo bubble cap has a second side airflow inlet and because of where it's positioned, the cap isn't perfectly round.
If I lean it to the opposite side, I get a much better seal

loving my 25mm opaque very very much. Probably the best enail ive owned for dabs. Only had a mininail titanium just for dabs and a showerhead/vrod w sic dish for dabs and flower though. Shane hooked it up with terp pearls in 6mm and 8mm! Going to order a few more bangers and terp pearl sets soon just in case i break anything:) thanks 710 coils!

@Pyr0 I am really sorry about the extra fees from customs and will make sure to leave those fields blank when sending out anything international. I will shoot you a coupon for 30.00 off to make up for my mistake

@gunmetalshark 25mm Axial coils should be shipping soon!!! I am hoping to hear more later this week

Caps and stands are also being worked on and once they send me a sample, I will post so you can see what I have been getting made =)

After a few days of trying out my new @710Coils 25 and 30mm bangers, I will say with confidence that I am a lifer for Shane’s products. The 30mm axial is my first time upgrading from a barrel coil. I gotta say, I thought I had it good already, but man, THIS is luxury. :)

Dude is killing it with his top notch CS and backing it up with quality products. So refreshing in this market! I never thought I would enjoy giving my money to a company so much. Can’t wait for that 25mm axial!

Shane, better write 15 or 20something $/GBP on your package. W/o any declaration risk of controlling by customs probably is higher. For example, In Germany it's a case for customs (and taxes) if the total worth of order+shipment is more than 25€. I believe it's nearly the same as in other EU states.

Yes, please write like 15dollar on it when shipping abroad.

Here in Spain customs are a real pain in the ass, just so you know! I believe anything above 25euros is getting an extra bill. And then it is mostly not even the real import fee, but what they charge for 'inspecting' your package. Here in Spain I believe they charge 15euros for that.

Great to hear all the positive feedback. Hope those 220v axial coils appear soon, I will try to fish for one from this side of the pond:)

Shane, just noticed because I was unsure myself, it'd be better for clarification to add a note to the description of your VRod coil:

Caution: The coil only works with the regular VRod FlowerPot Head & Diffuser (3129), not with the reversed one (3169)!

....or something like that (probably then in right English but you know what I mean) ;)

Maybe that could avoid some unnecessary troubles?

Wouldn't it make sense to form the regular 20mm barrel coil just to the specifications of the NV VRod reverse? It'd fit to the reversed VRod and all other 20mm devices don't matter about.
Also it's easier to customers who hasn't to think about and cause of the multi-fitting the coil it would be more versatile for customers in use.
One coil fits it (nearly) all.

@Hogni I just need to sell all the old style 20mm coils first =P

I had over ordered the 20mm and flat coils. Thinking they would be a needed commodity

But I might just order some in a taller size just to cover both versions of the Vrod
