Boundless Tera

Thanks! Let us see what @vapen00b is thinking about this "issue" and what he intends to do. I'm glad it's not mine. But I have no good feeling to use it anymore despite the taste and smell. It's a pitty bc it works quite good.

I got my Tera 6 days ago and I am thoroughly impressed with it.

The unboxing of it was pretty worrisome as it reeked of silicone. Even after washing with soap and water and even after giving a couple iso wipe downs of all the silicone it still smelt pretty bad. I decided to try it out anyway and charged the batteries did a burn-off while blowing through the bottom and had no visible off gassing. I loaded a bowl and heated to 428. The 1st hit of the 1st bowl tasted awful but I finished that first bowl and each hit tasted less like silicone. The second was much better but I could still taste a slight silicone taste. After that bowl I no longer taste any silicone at all.

If you can get through the first couple of bowls the Tera is an absolute beast. I only use the glass MP or the WPA. I haven't bothered with the plastic MP as I love the glass one. I have to wrap my lips around it or it does get hot but I can use it at 428 np. I like that it looks like an ecig mod with it. I get vapor the 1st hit and it gives massive hits the whole bowl. It can milk a bong np and really shines through water. A true covenction portable vape for $200 is awesome!!!

I have been using my Tera as a daily driver for about a month and it really outperforms all the other vapes i have tried
Its on par with my Mighty if not better
I get absolutely massive hits with the arizer bent stem and its very smooth
Exactly my experience as well. The arizer bent stem makes a great difference in temp and smoothness on my Tera, so much so that I cannot imagine using the stock mouthpieces again.
Also, the screen mods in this thread are golden (using stainless, fine mesh screens beneath the herb and another cut to fit in the black silicone part of the WPA in place of the Boundless stock screen). Good stuff here...

after watching Bndless rip thru a couple bowls with Sneaky Pete's Sceptre on their Tera, I had to get it. I ordered on Saturday and got it Monday  and the thing rips. I'm using it with planet vape ca Solo 18mm gong - simply fantastic. You can pull hard and get great airflow, so next up on this setup is a double stack of herb...

btw these orings fit perfectly directly on the arizer compatible stem with no other components required for use. Rated up to 450F.

Been experimenting the past few weeks . What temps is everyone using ? I have had sessions with big clouds and some with small so I am trying to figure out why. sometimes I use no screen in the oven , or i'll put it in the bottom or even sometimes just put it on top of the herb. Always a fine to medium grind.

I have been using max temp mostly. In regards to little clouds I think if the screen is in the bottom it can come loose and tilt sideways allowing for the air to bypass some of the weed. I think I had this happened to me a couple of day ago actually. I was laying in bed taking a few puffs and all of a sudden I got like what seemed to a sudden stream of hot air but no vapor. I hit it a couple more times and still nothing. When I stirred the bowl I felt the screen go back down in the bowl. After that I was getting clouds again. I don’t use the screen in the bottom any more and haven’t experienced anything like that again I get clouds every hit until the herb is spent.

I used to use no screen on the bottom for a couple months (mine came without the boundless screen inserted, so I assumed it was optional), but switched to using a mesh stainless screen. Improved airflow and burn consistency throughout. Before, I'd notice that some of the herb that made contact with the bottom of the chamber was getting some contact 'burn' (conduction).
After slight trimming of a 3/4" screen, I forced it down near (but not touching) the bottom of the Tera's chamber. Friction locks it into place if trimmed right and so it won't fall out after emptying a spent sessions' herb.

I use two temps, depending on the situation. For the CDB-rich herb, I vape at 370 (CBD releases at 366). This is my standby temp. For sleeptime herb, I vape at 390 (Linalool, which helps sleep, releases at 388).

Got mine yesterday, also, and it works great!!! Loaded it in the bowl and in the stem and both work very well. Nice that Ed incorporated a 14mm end!!! I think Ed has hit one out of the park here. The Blackwood matches the Tera nicely and thats a plus too!

Thats what I am so happy to hear, thanks so much @BigJr48 & @ohmygodimsohigh I really appreciate you all letting me know here how you like them and for the kind words. I have really enjoyed mine and found out that I dont have to put that filter disc on the top of the load I can pack the unit even more so and then place the stem in the unit giving me more of a good time. The SS screen seated within the bottom of the stem works well. Guys I have been in touch with Eric @Boundless Vape Technology as well, he is a solid and a great guy. Am looking forward to working with him more soon. This piece has been a lot of fun and am excited to do more. Thanks again and by all means let me know if I can anything else.
