I asked about those when I first joined here (because I’m a nerd and have been looking for a reason to get one, plus WINDPROOF) and someone told me it was a bad idea, but I don’t know why. Maybe screw up the metal, hotspots, or electrocution?

Someone with a plasma lighter and no fear of electrocution, please attempt and report your findings?
Plazma lighters aren't particularly dangerous, but they simply wont work with VCs due to the cap being conductive, sorry
.
Tha Plazma lighters create an 'arc' that is essentially a sustained spark, between two points.
Introducing any conductive material between the points will simply prevent the formation of the arc which produces the heat used to light cigarettes, by conducting the current instead of allowing it to form an arc.

Apologies if you were talking about something else

Pouches? I have one from @Ratchett (Delta3D) I like a lot but if someone should search for alternatives I highly recommend products from "Sonnenleder"

Finest natural leather, best - Made in Germany - processed. Sizes for your small equipment for on the go up to transport solutions for your whole collection (even that of @Squiby ;))

Some examples?

Funny, i own the smallest "Sonnenleder" pouch with a zipper :-) most of the time i just use it as intended but sometimes my Omnivap or when it still worked my GH found a way in it.

I always think it would be a really nice dedicated Vape kit.

On another note - are there more infos or even pics of the dynavap induction heater? I hope this will perhaps be easily available in europe...

and last but not least: i ended a quite long T-Break (never thought that would be possible and never did this before) and my vapcap had the honor to be the first Vape after the Break - i guess this says something...

Have a great day!

I am hallucinating. Right?
Seconds on garlic, please.

The toll from 9/11 is, sadly, still mounting.....

It seems like a sandblasted tip would make the hot cap harder to remove with a magnet by adding friction to the mix....

mrb did say he polished the surface back to original, Ma’am Theorista.

After countless hundreds of sessions, I am finding my cap is feeling a bit looser. Is the actual cap a wear and tear item that should be replaced with regularity?
Ive also logged several hundred sessions on my one and only VC, and my cap still fits on the titanium tip exactly like it did on day 1. The plan is to never separate this cap and tip from each other, I feel like getting a brand new cap is what could get me into trouble. Try the squeeze trick first.

I'm sure this has been asked plenty of times, but how many bowls / caps do you go through in about a day. The reason I ask is because I go through about 4-7 sessions a day with 2-3 caps per session . 3 hits per cap.

I feel like this might have lead to sinus pressure / problems as well as dry mouth . I wake up in the morning with super chap / dry lips as well as (depending on how many caps I took) constant cotton mouth.
Thanks

Vapcaps pack a punch. If my math is correct, you're doing between 24-63 heating cycles. And that would wear my throat out too. Hydrate, drink lots of water and make sure you have water with you for your sessions. And you might consider using a water piece.

I've gotten to the point with my vapcaps that I pretty much only use them through water using my DDave Water Wands through a 14mm water piece. Good luck.

They do pack a punch. I drink about 2 cups of water per session, maybe 1 cup at minimum. I also use it through a water piece (mobius rep).

I guess I am using the dyna alot, if you put it at 24-63 heating cycles. But 3 hits per session * 2-3 caps per session * 4-7 sessions a day, you are correct. The reason I am sticking with the dyna over combustion is because it saves me about 2 grams a day compared to when I smoked. But the vapor is for sure getting to me.

I currently do not have a DDave water wand but I heard great things about it. I might look into it but I am already getting fat rips through a glass piece already. Thanks for the advice.

I wonder if some of the sinus pressure issues are more related to the restricted draw, rather than the vapor.

Well I found the cure for Dry Mouth at night... Orahealth XyliMelts Discs at Amazon... you just stick one of these things to a rear tooth and your dry mouth problem is solved. One works well. They sell them in various size packs so you can save a little if you buy more. I tried them out before I bought a bunch. I think most Cannabis users suffer a little dry mouth. I don’t except at night, maybe because I’m always hydrating during the day. Hope this helps. :)
