Aight, thanks for the info, as I couldn't find anything on the ID website.

So If I understand correctly, if I have an M and an Omni XL, with a Silo adapter I would be able to fit either? (Thus only need to buy a normal size Silo and an adapter, and I can my Omni XL on it?)

The Silo will fit the standard size VCs. Like the M. And anything that’s of a similar size.

The Silo XL Adapter adds extra length to The Silo to allow it to hold the longer XL VCs.

“The Silo XL” is just a combination of both a Silo, and the XL Adapter.

So, I am liking my SWII and find I like the grind. The missing teeth make it easier to place a nug for grinding.
The one problem I am having with it is after applying some significant force used to do the grind, the body of the grinder becomes quite hard to open to get at my goods. The grinding force makes the body threads extremely tight. Some knurling on the body might help for grip but as is this has been an issue more than once.
I don't want to use any lubricant for obvious reasons. Some wax may help but I can only wonder if that might make the situation worse.
Any suggestions?

I've had the same issue on multiple ocasions. I think it needs another clear gasket at the bottom of those threads, at least in the SWIII.

I just got used to holding on tighter to that middle section.

Absolutely brilliant idea. I, three, have that problem, @InterplanetaryTanner was kind enough to give me an extra o ring and I’ll see if that’s does the trick. Thanks for the suggestion!

Edit- just tried it. It worked pretty well but the problem is the o ring isn’t tight enough to stay down so when I unscrew it moves up so let’s see if the shape will conform better with use. Anyway I love my SWII, perfect grind size and stellar CS

The current solution is to grind against the threading.

It’s for sure something we will be addressing in the SWIII. (Hopefully sometime next year. But first, we have to finish selling what we do have. And we have a lot of pinks. Lol)

As I was sitting here contemplating life in general, I wondered if it might be possible to include a small ABV container or receptacle into some part of the stand? Seems like it would increase functionality. I could bring the whole stand to where I’m vaping, have my vapcaps and a place to empty them all in one spot.

Maybe in October you could run a tie in to breast cancer awareness? Even dontate a portion of proceeds or something? Should help a good cause and reduce your inventory

For the Silo? Or the ISS?

Either way, it’s entirely possibly. But I think it’s probably would be a job better suited for a different product.

It’s not a bad idea. But I don’t think it would generate many sales. And more importantly, it just doesn’t feel like the right thing to do.

This could be a fun look into the process of product design!

Basically, we have a VC Stand. And you’re suggesting adding a container/receptacle to it. - So, the first real question is, what will it look like/how will it function?

Two quick things:

One: We released a product new; jars!
https://www.interplanetarydevelopment.com/collections/jars

We have four sizes; 50ml, 100ml, 250ml, and 500ml. Everything but the 50ml is in stock on Amazon. (We’ve been waiting weeks for them to ship. But Apple bought up all the shipping lanes...)

Two: I’ll have an update on the 2 handmade products I’ve been working on very soon!

Right on! But by all means, please feel free to order from Amazon. They will only be available there for awhile. And if you leave a review, that helps us out tremendously.

However, if you’re looking for some 500ml jars, we do have a handful in stock on the website thanks to a broken box.

I also don’t know if you’ve checked the listings since noon today, but our designer just finished up 2 more fancy little graphics for us.

Those jars are definitely slick.

I noticed some errors though:

all the smaller jars descriptions say they hold 500ml or about an ounce of material.

On the 50ml jar the description says 2.3 inches tall by 3 inches in diameter but in the graphic under that, it says the reverse.

Are the diameter measurements for the outside diameter or the inside hole? What is the inside hole diameter, if you don’t mind? I can think of a way of putting these to use but with corks as lids instead.

Good catches!

I removed the incorrect graphics until they get fixed and cleaned up the error on the 50ml jar.

I believe the measurements are rough estimates for the exterior. - I only have the 500ml jars on hand, but I took the calipers to them and the exterior diameter is coming out to 3.17 inches and the interior diameter is 2.46 inches.

Interesting... I’m clueless as to how amazon works. Especially since they enrolled us in “World Wide Amazon Shipping” or something of that nature...

No problem!

@InterplanetaryTanner What Aluminum Alloy is the SWII? I know the standard high end is 6061, but 7075 seems to be the premium choice now as it's stronger. Any chance we could see the 7075 in the SW III?

Also I think quarter-turn is too little, I have accidentally opened and spilled quarter turn grinders before. Kief area shouldn't be less than one full turn, Easy to open is great as long as it only opens when I want it to.
