We did a deal for 420, buy Chewy 2 get metal Chewy 1 free. Is this something people would be interested in?

Darn I guess I just missed out.... I just bought the Chewy 2 from your site and would have loved to get a Chewy 1 for comparative purposes! ;)

Still super excited about my Chewy 2 coming in next week!

I've been using the Herbagrind grinder I bought on Amazon, but it gets clogged up and doesn't dispense directly into bowls very well as I'd hoped it would...

If the Chewy 2 is a winner - that thing gets returned for a full refund :leaf:

While I still have issues with some of the things I have issues with, I am enjoying my Chewy 2 much more than I did at first.

1) I love the grind consistency.
2) I've learned the strengths and weaknesses and work with its strengths.
3) I cleaned it with coconut oil and it operates much smoother than when new.
4) I love the grind consistency, and so do my vapcaps, Vaponic, Lil' Bud, and Milaana.

Glad to see this. I ordered a tub of Coconut Oil that came in yesterday in anticipation of receiving the Chewy 2. Seems like that was a good move based on what your saying.

I can only surmise that the lubrication of the spring-loaded "sled" makes it even smoother to operate than when it's brand new.

What are the other challenges you've run into?

My issues are more with what I expected the Chewy 2 to be more than what it is. I expected the grinder to be more powerful, and to hold more. I believe the literature says an 1/8th will fit. That's not been my experience as I typically grind in 1 gram batches and 1 gram fills the chamber. I expected the sled to move into place easier, I still have to give the 2 a whack to 'unstick' the sled after I release the trigger.

I'm of the opinion that the difference between what we expect and what is true measures our pain/disappointment. So I wasn't happy at first. Once my expectations were dialed back and I accepted what is, I've enjoyed the Chewy 2 much more.

Hope this helps.

Thanks the the feedback guys! Honestly I felt the same about the Herbagrind. For $40 it's actually pretty impressive, but I had really high expectations. The problem is the grinding mechanism does not directly feed the herbs to the nozzle.... it starts off great but after a couple of grinds it kiefs up so hardcore that you can't even tap the herbs out, much less they don't dispense into any bowl easily out of the nozel.

I decided to try the Chewy since the spinning blades directly feed into the nozel and into a bowl. I just wish the Chewy had a rechargeable Li-ion battery.

What we are referencing here is expectancy theory, my friend! Satisfaction is an equation of what was expected versus what is reality. ;)

Very excited for the Chewy!

I doubt a rechargeable ion battery would be worth the extra cost. A 9v while difficult to put on the 2 has lasted me over 6 months of daily use which is mind blowing.

Wow that's awesome! @paytonpenn your YouTube video was the review that pushed me over the edge to buy the Chewy BTW! Glad I did and thanks for the great review.

1 small issue I seem to be having: sometimes if I put a larger nug in the chamber - when the trigger is depressed with the top closed the top will slightly open and the black plastic ring will pop off of the blades and it won't grind correctly. It almost seems like the blades or plastic ring are slightly caddywompus and that's what is causing it. These really weren't even big nugs causing it, nowhere near the chamber's capacity. Has anyone else run into this?

As I've gotten to know my Chewy 2 better, I've really started to enjoy it.

I used to grind 3-4 grams at a time, different strains and then filled a color coded doob tube with about a gram each.

Lately I've just been grinding a small nug of one strain, using that, and then moving on to a different strain later in the day. Whatever is left over in the 'grinding cup' goes into a CVault to contribute to my own personal super hybrid.

This process suits the Chewy's profile much better than my previous habits. And I now have about 2.5-3g of some really good super hybrid with bits and bobs from 8-10 different strains.

What is your favourite feature of Chewy 2.0?

the comfort!

As simple and comfortable as:
Load your favorite bud -> press button up to the desired amount -> vape :sherlock:

more than 3 months of daily use and for many times a day and I would define it in a three words and one image :

-> I love it :love::love::love:<-

How big is the opening where the herb falls out? Could it fit into a 14 or 18 glass joint? I'm in the market for a new grinder, and like the idea of electric

I just got a Chewy 2 a couple of days ago and love it. Using a regular grinder is painful to me and this one has the added bonus it fits directly in the Arizer vape stems to fill-up. It's easy to take apart for cleanup too. I just wish there was a spot to attach the cap during use and also some various blades to get a coarser or finer grind. Very neat gadget!
