Haha I just started using one of my S&B brushes on my FP screens after an iso bath last week. Good to hear others have had success with them as well.

The ultrasonic cleaners sound super appealing. I've heard someone rave about them once before for vape parts/glass cleaning. Maybe I'll get a small one for the small FP and volcano valve parts as a proof of concept before going for a big enough one for glass. Honestly vape resin cleans off soooo much easier than smoking resin...a little warm iso and some swirling/shaking and it's good as new! (Maybe a brush on the FP screen as said)

This is probably a stupid question, but are the panhead/shovelhead bowls considered the adjustabowls because you can just change out the posts instead of entire bowls depending on GonG configuration? Or is there a way to change the actual internal bowl size somehow?

Recently lowered the temps back down on my SH to 620. I find with a 30 second+ carb cap heat soak on the SH before taking the hit, and then pulling at the speed the cap will let me + a tiny bit, I'm getting light coffee brown bowls, consistent all the way through, and still able to kill like .25g in a one hitter. This thing is so enjoyable to use my consumption has gone way up haha.

To be a little more specific, not only may you swap out the stem 18mm/14mm but when you place the stem on a WP it may go deeper on some pieces versus others. To have the bowl itself sit on the rim of the WP rather than above it you may adjust the bowl up and down on the stem, thus adjustabowl refers to being able to adjust not only stem size, but adjust the bowl to each WP individually.

So if SS brushes leave deposits in Ti and cause problems, wouldn’t the same be true for SS screens that scrape the sides of the bowl?

I guess we’d better recommend sticking with Ti screens and avoiding the local head shop’s offerings in the future.

I almost tried SS screens when I got the FP, but I guess fortunately they were the wrong size!

Just a little to add to that; there was actually talk of a bowl with multiple screen settings, and they even made some prototypes, but I think in testing the extra grooves were more annoying than beneficial. As it is you can already put anything from crumbs to like 0.3g in the bowl and have it work without adjusting the screen position.

I believe that was the origin of the adjust-a-bowl terminology though, and it was just maintained with the released versions of the PanHead and ShovelHead since the name still makes some sense as you laid out. :)

Can anyone who was actually involved at the time verify that? I know I could go back and read through that part of the thread, but...not right now. Also, probably no one cares.

I'm using my stainless steel brush with my glass bowl which has a stainless steel screen so I think I'm safe there, interesting here that stainless steel may be able to "corrupt" titanium.
@NewVape710 it would be nice to get some titanium screens that fit perfectly in the glass bowls. Or some titanium dosing capsules for the glass bowl would be even better :)

It most likely would, so you would have to think about if the risk of harm is significant enough to give a shit. I am going to use only Ti with Ti since my education from Edwyn's post.

I am not too worried about this lead issue very much because I am already retarded and have sired offspring.

Here is a tip for cleaning your vape parts. Use bamboo skewers instead of anything metal.

Hi every body.another thumbs up for SH as it's still doing the business (if you haven't got one then get one) so what I'm want to know isn't about the FP specifically,i want to know about the abv that comes from it.I e always had some success using abv,I never got stoned as such but it always knocked me out but when I use abv from the FP/SH it doesn't do anything and im not fully vaping the weed either.anyone else get this problem or jot problem?depends how you view it I suppose ha

I would like to take it as a desktop vaporizer because I own only portable vaporizer. And it easy to get it for Europe?

Yes bamboo brushes will be my next purchase. Im not worried (until now :) about a ss brush scratching my glass bowl.

I received my Flowerpot SH less than a month and a half ago (Flowerpot Twax Starter Kit), and yesterday, the handle of the Titanium bowl broke in two.I just took the handle from the glass and it broke.

Is this covered by the warranty?

I’ve only collected my FP AVB so far so I can’t give you a point of comparison right now, but I had to ask how you know you’re “not fully vaping” it?

If it’s just that the color is light, I think you can get pretty full extraction in the FP without getting dark AVB under the right circumstances. If that’s what’s happening, I’d say it’s a win.

I can’t speak for them, but my guess is they’ll at least take care of you on the Ti bowl handle, but I’m not sure about the glass...that’s such a common thing to happen to glass bowls with handles that they’d probably have to charge double and expect to send out at least one replacement to most customers.

I’m only speculating though, so it’s worth at least asking them about both. :)

Dude that’s a chicken. @Zangano Cruel loves waterfowl and would never use one for a stopper.

I read it as just the handle that’s broken, eh @TheFatBastard ? I’m always reading about NewVape taking care of their customers for a long time here. But reaching out to them directly on Monday, rather than through here will be the quickest best way for resolution. Take care!

No, is the Ti handle that broke, not the glass one.

Vapefiend just replied and said it is not covered by the warranty, since the handle is designed to broke, do this intentionally if the bowl is stuck (which wasn't on mine, not stuck, just a little resistance when I pilled and broke). They say this is deliberate and intended to protect glass joints from taking excess torque and shattering should this happen.

I don't really understand this.....the handle/bowl shouldn't be designed to broke.....we all know how to be careful if the bowl is stock in the glass so you don't break the glass....

Not very happy about this, since buying a new handle is 8.95€ (not that expensive) but the shipping is like 18€ approx. .... they offered me special shipping for like 10€ through Royal Mail, but still....not a money problem, but I don't think I should expend almost 20€ to replace a piece of a expensive kit because it is "designed to broke".

@TheFatBastard if you would like to pm me your address, I'll send you my old handle on Monday when I'm back @ work.
I bought a solid handle as a replacement so have the old as a spare.
Well used and slightly discoloured, but free
