Got the unit in the mail. Batteries too. Charging.. report back later... looks like a cool little unit! Different, but I like the feel.

Be good or be good at it.
Mines "out for delivery" so I'm curious how mine will compare..
I may have given you the wrong idea earlier now that I've sat down with this thing for the past couple of hours I figured it out it's dialed in and an OH BOY does it work great I haven't had any more combustion .at first I was finding myself running out of lung capacity before I could even start to feel the vapor then figured out to press the button wait for the buzz then wait about 5 to 6 more seconds before hitting it and presto perfection. And the high from it is as close to a smoking high as I've ever gotten from a vape.

The smallest one from Delta still needed some silicone to mate if you're connecting with the glass mouthpiece.
Mine came with an extra piece of silicone tubing for the glass stem would that work ?

Yes. It may not be perfect but its about the best solution we can get right now. I actually use the WPA where tubular tube is and just dont use the battery cover when I'm hitting through water.

I'm just inhaling. Never combusted. Not sure whats up with the people that can manage more than a few hits.

Maybe inhale faster?

yeah idk. i cant manage to get more than 2 hits out of a bowl and its beat. im really dumbfounded right now. idk why we wouldnt be able to do what you are doing. im inhaling pretty fast. slow or fast i get the same result.
edit: i draw faster and get nothing. so idk what the hell you are doing that i am not. i just ran three more clips....every bowl 2 hits... no matter what level i use. i dont get it and kind of upset that i cant get the performance that you are getting in the video

Same here my dude. I'm getting maybe 2 or 3 hits no matter the temp setting and then can't seem to get anything. I'm also charring in the middle and finishing with some green/light yellow on the sides. I'm charring on temp 3, So I've been lowering level 3 to level 2 1/2 which has kind of helped with the charring but still not getting very even avb.
Idk might be the draw technique or how I'm packing it but I'm a bit confused on where I'm messing up tbh.

Same here. Hmmm something isn't right for sure. I'm glad I'm not the only one with this issue. It has become less enjoyable throughout the experience. Idk what happened. No matter what level I get the same issues.im getting a lot of hot air with little vapor, when I first got he unit I had smooth rips. Now it's just hot air and not that much vapor unles i hold the battery lid down real tight. So I was thinking a seal issue with the connections tubular to the battery door. Idk just a thought after I tested for an air leak in the mp and ceramic. Unit is clean as well so idk

You're describing the issues I'm having exactly to the T I too think it has to be some type of issue with an air leak and the lid I'm going to take the tubular tube out and replace it with a 14mm stem from my mistvape touch and see if I notice a difference.

I couldn't get good hits with third party stems. I have tried mvt. It will need a cushion or seal which is hard.

I've been testing the FW5 for several weeks (on and off) and have been reluctant to chime in. So far, I am underwhelmed. I don't believe that the flavor matches the FW3 or FW4 and I cannot get my ABV brown (admittedly, I have not played with boosting the temp yet). It was much more effortless with the FW3 and FW4. I'm sure it's a technique thing but I have not had time to do the homework; I just want it to work.

What heat levels are you guys using?
I just messed around with it a little and I'm getting better results @ heat level 3¾ or 8 clicks 3 clicks then 3 clicks again it's not hot spotting as bad now and but still only getting 2 hits off a Bowl sometimes just one @paytonpenn what strain are you using if you don't mind me asking and what heat settings are you using ?

Can't imagine why you're Abv isn't Browning I'm having the exact opposite happen. Maybe slow your draw speed down a little?

Heat settings were displayed upper right hand corner of each bowl. 1¼/3/5. Strain is called Hippie Crippler, it was pretty cheap. Hot spotting is expected but not a concern if you are going to keep taking hits.
