How do YOU pour your beer?

I always pour straight down the middle, knock out all that foam, take a bite of that nice head, never feel bloated or full all night!

I get my buddies tho saying like "awwweh dude you f'cked up your beer bro" they just don't understand I guess lol I can drink way more with less carbonation.

Also the Volcano easily the best group party vape ever always takes care of us here.

Exactly the way I do it.

If I am home, I use a 'pilsner' style glass. The beer hits that 'V' at the bottom of the glass and causes the beer to 'splash' and foam. However, the 'widening' taper of the pilsner style glass, disperses the foam very quickly so the head dissipates almost immediately as you pour.

I often pour from a height of 1 foot above the glass and bring it toward the glass as I finish. This really helps eliminate all those bubbles that I DON'T want in my belly. :)

However, for what it's worth, the only poster who agrees with you (being me) drinks Corona Light. That might even disqualify me as a 'beer drinker'. LOL

Corona has a new label called "Premier". OMG, this stuff tastes like Club Soda. LOL

Anything worth doing, is worth overdoing.
It's what you like. You wouldn't do that if you didn't want to lose some of the carbonation. I pour most beer down the side of a slightly tilted glass because I don't like waiting for all the foam to settle, but I do like a lower carbed beer like many British ales such as browns and milds.

Nitro beers, canned with a widget, are meant to pour straight down the center which leads to the proper head to form after waiting for the cascading to settle. This would be like a Guinness or a Boddingtons.

Taste being what it is, I guess there's no right or wrong in these things. But I'm with gino: tilt the glass and pour slowly. Some head but not too much. You don't go to a brewery and find a two inch head on your expensive craft beer. If you do you should complain. I believe that in Ireland there's an unwritten rule about how much head a bartender can leave on a Guinness. Of course this has something to do with how much beer is in the glass. But it's a taste matter, too. A good, well drawn ipa leaves a trail of the foam down the inside of the glass as one sips from it. If there's too much head at the beginning, it dissipates before you've drank a third of the glass. Not to mention the foulness of having to stick your nose into a thick blanket of foam before getting to what really matters. In a restaurant when I order a beer from a bottle (which I do only if I have no viable options), I won't let a waitress or waiter pour my beer 'cause they ruin it by pouring too fast. If they pour it without asking me I tell them to take it back and get me a new one that I can pour myself.

Tilt your glass under the bottle/tap at a 45 degree angle. Hold the glass just a few mm below so to give a nice slope as you pour. Nice and slow now... pour, and raise your glass upright as you fill.

Perfect, every time.
