@Hogni You are talking about the monster 30mm flat coil that curves up a bit on the sides?

I had to hold off on ordering a few things as funds were not as plentiful as needed =P

Shoot me a pic and I will make sure to add it to my next order of coils. I also have a grip of new sizes coming in. Including the flowerpot coil. With proper specs =)

Let me know about the above so I can make sure it does not fall off my radar

The fastening nut for the coil is for a 9mm socket.

My Coojo cap with the extra long nipple is way too long for the Air. No complaints on that; looking forward to getting a second Coojo.

6mm beads are too large for the Hurricane in my Obsidian dish.

My new Obsidian dish has a better polish than my first.

Please update us on the new Coojo - my nipple contacts the 6mm beads in my Air but I actually don’t mind the mechanical stirring. Be interested to see if a slightly shorter nipple is even better performing.

Air finally got here, feels super cheap/janky/Chinese, especially the joint, I foresee this being an issue, regardless of how well they work on paper.

Oh and fuck you CCA and your $60, yes SIXTY DOLLAR AH shroud that used to be $50, that used to be $40, that used to be $30, that used to be $25 (when I bought mine)....its ok though, now they are "made in house" (notice my air quotes) they are certainly gonna be worth 2x as much (50% of the actual banger price now)

I asked Josh why they're so pricey and he said it's due to very low stock and that they won't be making any more of them for a few months.

Holy ballz! 60 for just for the silver, 80 gold, and 100 for the blue! Guess I should have bought an extra back when they really were on sale.

My gold AH shield has been a blue ever since my Hex-Nail randomly went wild one day and had my coil glowing.

That's unbelievable. He sees the demand go up and then marks it up.

Unreal. $100 for a blue shield. Wow.. least I bought two back then..

WOW.....good call out, totally didn't check the other colors, thats unreal.

Not only raising price due to "demand", but doing so and then flat out planning not to make more of the "highly in demand" item (arguably 1 of the simplest pieces of metal on the site).....for "months"?

I didn't goto college for business or anything but that doesn't make any sense to me (other then if they are out of money again, or they are just trying to be dicks at this point as a joke)

Things like this.....after everything else, really shows what CCA is all about, if anyone doubts it, you might wanna take a T-break.

Just got my Liger. Any advice/tips on how to clean the liger air itself? Not the inserts

I drop mine into iso while warm, the tube between the bucket and the joint will require a little extra elbow grease. reaming it out is best if you let it gets too dirty, I use a dab tool for it.
I have also been known to torch the shit out of mine also, but that is not recommended and it gets discolored.

If an insert gets stuck I heat up to 900 until it's not stuck. And I clean the inserts at 250 degrees with water and iso.

Anything worth doing, is worth overdoing.
In addition to the shrouds, the price of the Ligers just jumped since the last time I looked. A basic silver is now $20 more ($120) compared to $99 only a week ago. A rainbow one is now $175. Who knows what tomorrow will bring?

I believe the price went up on the Liger Air once the pre-orders were fulfilled. I think i read of heard that somewhere. The lower price was the benefit of pre-ordering.

But the shield/shroud is just price gouging. He was selling them for $19.99 Silver for the longest. No one was buying it but now AH is blowing up, people want it now and hes just getting the folks that support him. Bad business practice again. But why are we surprised? This is the normal CCA operating business model.

I also clean the Ti parts of the Liger in ISO. Here's what I do and it's super fast and easy: Get a sandwich bag, put the liger, disassembled, in, and fill with as strong of ISO as you can get (I use 99%). Then, I drop that into an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner (this one to be exact) filled with hot water. The hot water warms up the ISO. The ultrasonic cleaner just speeds things up and gets the baked on gunk off faster. Clean as a whistle in 5-10 minutes and you can keep and re-use the ISO over and over.

Also, it will probably take you a few months, but you may start to notice some krusty areas like where the carb cap sits on the rim that won't come off with ISO. For those, I use a Scour Stick like Magic Stone before I chuck it in the ISO bath.

Thanks to everyone for the steer to CooJo Glass! I loved his caps so much I had him hook up a matching donut rig. Mine is the purple amber one on his Insta. Matching carb cap with a sick marble on top at a great price. He also fixed an empire Glass rig I thought was toast and straightened out my Chad Bro cap trunk for me. And he finished it all in one week while moving his shop from Michigan to Colorado! All of his custom stuff works great with the Air and seems an ideal pairing.

Highly recommend going with his stuff if you have an Air and need glass or a carb cap.

Dunno if this is normal or if anyone else is experiencing something similar but it seems like my liger is not fitting correctly with the adapter and can rock up and down while on my rig. I think the adapter striped somehow but wanted to see if this was normal before I hit up josh at cca for a fix
