Coming from the pax.....could be your loading. Do not pack or tamp down the flower in the arizer stem. Fill to about 80% max. Pax and Arizers are very different in the way you need to load them. Sounds like that could be your issue....you should be getting lighter vapor after a slow 10 second pull and then good vapor after that.

Coming from the pax.....could be your lo31ading.

That's so cool. I am vaped and staring at this sentence since minutes, trying to find out about the secret message. "lo31ading". I am sure there is something hidden behind that! And I am sure that there is more about it than just a link to page 31 in this thread! ;)

what's the best WPA for the Air 2? I bought one from Puff It Up but unfortunately it's very loose and vapor escapes from the bowl, not much but enough for me to want to fix it. am i overreacting? am i not? is the one from Sneaky Pete any tighter fitting?

I got my air 2 back from my son today.
He said the solo and e nano him and his wife ordered came in and that they had quit combustion completely.
This vape started out as a fathers day gift for me from them and has come around full circle by giving me the gift of them not smoking any more.
I sure do love this particular air 2 vaporizer and will cherish it and the memory it created.

The ones with the slits cut into the bowl end are not needed. They also seem to be looser than the stock ones from arizer. The stock ones have no slits in them.....look for those. I got 2 different versions of the slit cut ones from PIU and they fit loose compared to the stock ones.

Also, the slits are not really needed with the Air2.....since the draw resistance is so much better than the first Air is.....

If anyone bought a GONg from PIU that is loose, I would contact PIU and I would be shocked if they did not send you another gong that fit.

For sure PIU will make you happy, at least they always have. But it's good remember tight stems is not a feature Arizer supports. What is tight on one vape can easily be loose on the next. It was never intended to be a really tight seal, lots of guys tried to get their Solos replace because the seals were getting loose without success.

Then some guy gets on the web and brags on how he can pick up his vape by the stem (it's not really a handle....) and lots of folks start feeling inadequate...... "Stem envy" breaks out.

So aftermarket stem makers are really up against it. Many of Ed's excellent custom stems are too tight to fit units that are 'brand new'. Tough nut.

But PIU will definitely 'work with you', there have been many report of just that in these pages.

Good luck with it.

So I just got some wax, hash oil, distillate, and crumble. I was planning on trying it in my Air2 by sandwiching them in between bud. Anyone tried this? Good idea?

Very common, not more than a few hundred guys have reported it on various Arizer threads. OK, maybe a few more.......

Most guys like it for sure.

However, I think most who've tried Vitolo's idea of using cotton instead prefer that? Wrap a bit of concentrate in cotton and vape that. No additional 'taste' like with herb, just the pure concentrate. Picky guys buy special high purity organic cotton from Japan for the job (Amazon sells it IIRC), I use the cotton batting from Vitamin bottles (after all it's 'medical grade'?), @Vitolo his own self simply pulls some off handy Q-tips. The man is wise for sure.

Faster, easier and cleaner that way.

BTW be sure to try 'bumping up' the heat a bit, most guys prefer it 10 or more degrees higher I think.

Your call.

Regards to all.

^^^ awesome, thanks! I don't like the idea of using cotton for some reason. I'll just use a bit of bud. I don't mind if I don't get the "pure concentrate" flavor.
You're welcome. Your call, but no need to worry about (pure) cotton at these temperatures. No decomposition or combustion risks. In fact many of the commercial vapes use it here, like the FlowerMate 'pods'.

Besides, @Vitolo approves.......what could go wrong?

BTW, some guys use ABV (herb 'vaped out' in a prior session). You might save some and try that, again no added flavors. Don't discount that 'confused taste' issue, even when using the same bud that made the concentrate?

Enjoy it, how ever you try.

Amazing! Did you carve that with the E-pick? Musta taken ages! ;)

Loving the air 2, just sip for hours...:mmmm:

All my stems, the old Solo ones and the ones that came with the Air 2 are a real tight fit. I can easily pick the unit up by them and fling it about (just kidding, don't ever do that), but I guess it will get looser over time.

I've been trying lower temps, 340-350°F to start and may go lower. Some Kid on reddit put me on to that, I never knew. Or tried.

I feel like I'm getting a more uneven bake than with the OG solo...anyone else? I might just be drawing to slow, since they improved the airflow (much less restrictive than the OG Solo)
