I noticed; if i vape from the same pod 2-3 times in a day or the next day there is more to clean and it's sticker... Than if i where to vape in one session the same pod (then i may be able to reuse pod without cleaning 1st)
With any of my vapes usually letting the bud sit after use makes more of a mess. So I always try to use it and empty when it's still warm. Hopefully the microdose pods are an actual container and lid system. I wonder what Haze is cooking up. They wanted to make load sizes adjustable which would be really neat.

I got at least 2-3 trays prior to needing a deep clean. Been going to highest temp of 410 and starting at 390.

Just visited Haze Square's accessories web page and was surprised to see Warning: This product contains nicotine. Nicotine is an addictive chemical on at least four of their products. Surprise messaging. What's up with that @Haze Vaporizers ? This is unfounded to me, being that a vaporizer is a delivery device and not a chemical unto itself. Please investigate, explain and clear this messaging. I didn't get that memo. Anyone else? Just shopping for accessories and not fear mongering. Thanks

FDA labelling requirements since people can consume e-juice with our device.

Errr...g-damn reqs. Hate that. It's so misleading to medical consumers. E-juice is what it is, imo. I get it. Former heavy smoker, me. Nicotine lung inhaling, pack-a-day or more, me. But mmj is a different scenario altogether. Just venting. Mad as hell right now. In pain and want the best for patients and others seeking food grade, medical grade, stainless steel, etc without the labels. Not your fault, Haze. Thanks for the instant response. We all get the drift. Just had to empty my lungs.

Edit: the labeling "Nicotine" is bs...misleading and inaccurate. There is Zero nicotine in stainless steel. What's up with these regulations? They drank the koolaid for sure

My team said that it is a generic placeholder label until our legal team get some specifics on what is required.

Well the time has come to send my unit in. Phase 2. I should have got it repaired a long time ago due to battery issues but I found I could still charge my vape after resetting it as if you were going to update the firmware and then plugging it in to charge.

Even after my mouthpiece broke I rigged a tip up that wasn't too unwieldy to use and my vape pushed on.

But tonight after packing all the pods as usual and attempting to heat the coil I could not get the darn thing to fire. After further inspection, one side of my coil has actually shrunk and shriveled due to a misfire, I think.

So I'm going to let go of the Square as much as I hate to do it. This was just a bad pc board as another user had and I pushed it too far. When it worked it worked amazing but that time is no more. So it's coming to ya Haze. Keep an eye out for my partially neglected unit I cherished very much.

I heard they may ban favored e-juice as they said it's marketing toward children.

* Also sidenote the silicone cover is cool but it doesn't have numbers on it so i can never tell what pod I'm on (and permanent marker rubs off).

**Due to that had my first:
1. OUCH: touched hot pod bottom (after vaping one pod but having to open to see what number the next pod was)
2. Compete full pod spilled on floor (while doing the above)

There are a lot of units going back for similar issues. Mine had a different issue and its been there since last Friday. No update on status yet... Djsleepy has his in and just got an update yesterday he will be getting his back soon. Pretty sure someone else's flat out died like you describe and just sent theirs in.

I know these were pre-order and early production units but it still makes me a little nervous about the long-term durability of these things. I hope I am wrong, because I love the overall concept and how the thing hits.

I hope I don't have to send it in multiple times like some unlucky few. Haze will restore it to it's former glory and then some.

While it has been a less than perfect scenario to have to send in our early units for fixing, the customer service has been stellar, remaining open and honest.
I had to send mine in twice, and while that would normally make me sour on any product or brand, the quality of the vape experience with the Square when it's working is incredible. And when I factor in that Haze has fine-tuned and adjusted production quickly to account for the inconsistencies, I can honestly say I have no hesitation recommending Haze.

It makes sense to be a little nervous when reading of issues, but life has issues. It's how we deal with those issues, and improve, that builds durability. Take note of how Haze responded to all reports. Nervousness should come from the unknown, and Haze customer service is not an unknown -- they are what should make you comfortable about a purchase.

Completely agree their customer service is simply fantastic. Unlike 99.9% of any business from any other product or industry out there - I do feel comfortable that Haze has my back!

My point was more focused on early trends based on user comments who have sent theirs in for one reason or another. I have not seen one comment of anything other than stellar customer service on this whole forum - following it from day one.

I'm sure mine will come back home to me better than before as all other users who have sent theirs in have reported! Man oh man I can't wait for that day.... my Pax 1 isn't working and smoking is starting to really suck!

I feel like my mouthpiece is getting looser over time and can almost pop out...

A good tool would be a official haze measuring cup. I feel I'm filling up too much or too little.

I've been using vapir NO2 measuring tool

Hi guys,

Finally got the haze square yesterday but I’ve run into some trouble. I can’t seem to get any vapor production.

I checked all the seals on the lid and tray. I pressed down on every square inch of the silicone and the metal filters seem to be snug and in place. Heater works as I can see the glow from the vent and the unit itself gets warm. The 2 halves seem to connect together nicely. In other words, visually the unit looks ok.

I am completely baffled at how guys who made videos like AJS, paytonpenn, and vape critic get those monster clouds.

My presets are 390,405,420,435, and 450.

I’m guessing my problem is one of 3 things:

1. Draw speed - I’m using a slow but firm draw but it’s so difficult to gauge because there is virtually no draw resistance
2. Heater manipulation - I’m pressing down until it turns green and then I draw while still holding down the start button until it vibrates. Once in a while I’ll do the double press but I find I’ll end up combusting. I don’t want to double press either because I find it really drains the battery.
3. Packing - this could be my biggest problem. I pack it 75-80% full with a slight tamp. Medium grind. Herb is dry which I’ve also used in the mighty and grasshopper to produce massive clouds so I know my herb is not poor quality.

I’ve used the grasshopper so I know how on-demand devices work. Unlike the grasshopper, where I can adjust my draw based on the heat and resistance, I find myself clueless with the haze square because it feels like sucking a straw in an empty cup.

I’m not a flavour chaser so does anyone have any tips to get visible clouds? Help!

I find that using my lungs to inhale makes getting the draw speed right each time.

Some Vapes need a longer draw and I'll use my diaphragm. Not so much here.
