I have an original Box Fan Willy. This is the person who created the Helix. Willy had a production line of helix made by an American company but broke away from them when they started producing in China. He still continued to do customs and collaborations. I have Signature Series spoon that i bought before I retired and knew about FC. I have never used it but I broke it out and now have a solution to getting it into the rotation with vc. I will post some pics later.

@Vapor4me ,I have pretty severs tinnitus, and I have been finding things to combat this. I have found that if I use an Altoids can with a couple of Dynamags,(two cap parking), on it, and I have found the Induction Heater,(Pipes), helps immensely. The Altoids tin works for the "cool-click", by placing fingers on the top of the tin for the vibration. Hope this helps you and your friend. I have an idea that might not help your friend, but if I could get a mouthpiece that was magnetic, I think I can make it ring a cow bell on click. Good luck. Doc

I have received my @DDave water wands in the meantime! Great stuff.
Careful, I literally haven’t touched my other vapcaps since I got that thing. I feel bad for them, and miss them. I might make a point to use something other than my waterwand next time on principle, but it most likely won’t be because I actually want to...

And you thought you got too high just a few hours ago right? Strap on the big boy pants-those Water Wands are frigging magical, and extract like a beast.
THIS!

I also have some elephant ivory that’s over 100 years old that was gifted to me by one of the top pool cue makers here in the US, I bet that would look phenomenal with Ebony! Accept, pricey, very pricey. If anybody needs anything, doesn’t hesitate to ask!

Hello. I need an Ivory body and mouthpiece for my omni.

You sure you not in Germany?

@Hogni Thanks for the tip! Have looked again and im found the newest 6gen TI Tip on thehedonistclub.

I do not know if anyone has this mentioned in this huge thread, i have mayby found a solution for the folks they have problems with the omni condenser when they restrict the airflow and not knowledge when they have to stop before the condenser come off from the mouthpiece part.

In the picture at the carb hole on the mouthpiece site you can see a piece of the screw part of the condenser this is the maximum depth before the condenser come off. For me this is a nice indicator for that, i have no idea if this is only with my omnixl. :hmm:

I hope you all have a nice day/evening i enjoy my end of working day with some nice beer and my vapcap setup. I read in this thread here since end of sebtember 2017 and its a wonderful friendly community here.

Cheers

Hello. I need an Ivory body and mouthpiece for my omni.

Elephant ivory is not legal internationally, but if you decide you can settle for horn of a
Less endangered species, you may want to look up our resident epicure.

PP’s lidded Buffalo VapCap Stem. No bull. :bang:

( don’t ask how both tip and lid are supposed to be placed )

@Dunphy For me the best option is the trick with the reshaped concentrate pad and i have no worries about the flavour of the hemp fiber. I dont would use cotton from a Q-tip, also because of the glue with they are attached to the rod.
You can use also the sandwitch methode take your concentrate between two layers of bud works very nice too.

I heard hemp fiber may be best for concentrate, but does anyone know if Q-tip (the brand) cotton, pulled from the q-tip, works? Is it safe to vape that cotton?

I tried to find some info and got mixed opinions.

If you want to use cotton batten, choose an organic brand. Alternatively, you could use degummed hemp fiber.

Personally, I like to use an S&B concentrate pad which I've squished into a cylinder shape, cut in half and stuffed into the herb chamber. Perfect for shatter, rosin and wax.

I have pliers to squish the concentrate pads, is there a trick to cutting the stuff? Do I need a special tool?

@Papi @Squiby @Prophecy thank you all for the replies.

I will get some organic cotton or degummed hemp fiber. That concentrate pad look dope. What I pulled with the cotton was reclaim, so I thought it would just be convenient to pull it off after wiping. It should be just as easy for me to use organic cotton or the hemp fiber.
As far as I understand it the problem (among others) with regular cotton is that it is bleached.

Hello. I need an Ivory body and mouthpiece for my omni.
I sent you a message!

Ok guys! I’m super excited! The “cloak” was a success. This Ebony Cloak with axial magnet works great! And is sleek! I’m still working on the interstates condenser and mouth piece stems, which will make these even cooler! I’m almost there, a few more bugs to work out. What do you guys think!??

Today the weather was gloomy, periods of thunder and lightning showers. A slow day to stay inside...

But the gloom lifted after my trip to the Post Office. I was rewarded with a package from Greece! It had been in transit for almost exactly a month!!! It arrived in Canada and sat in the Customs office for weeks. Boy, they must be backed up.

I opened the package and there it was; a stunning @stardustsailor creation that he calls an RCCS (Resin composite coated stem), a titanium stem that has a bonded resin and mica coating. Mine has a combination of Bewitched and Bejeweled mica pigments.

The stem and matching mp is much more stunning than pictures can convey. The mica gleams and reveals hidden colors as you twirl it. It's hypnotic.

The resin is very hard but has a soft silky feel to it. It is grippy and has the perfect degree of traction for twirling and the slightly wider stem profille fits perfectly in my hand. The stem is warm to the touch, like wood, belying the titanium core beneath it.

I fitted the stem with a 5th generation tip and heated the cap. The vapor was cool and the stem stays cool too, the resin seems to have an insulating effect.

The mouthpiece has a matching inlay, milled into a convex band. The mp also does double duty in that it can be used to set a screen into the tip or tamp a load. Very handy and super functional. I love that mp!

I'm really loving this stem. The resin coated titanium stem is a winner.

It reminds me of this guy...

I call it my Poison Dart Cap.

So that's what I did today; tested a new stem while watching the storm clouds gather. It was a perfect day.

That would be unreal. Have you made anything like that before? Pics?

And what's the axial magnet all about? Aside from it's obvious usefulness
Yes I have, as I’ve been an avid woodworker for the past 7 years. This would be the first body and matching stash for a Vapcap that I’ve done tho. Wouldn’t be a problem at all, would just finally give me a reason to do it for the Vapcap!

The magnet is simply for the removal of the cap.

unbearably light in the being....
Really, DONT do that!! JyArz, CVaults or DabPress canna container only
I use the CVaults, and like them. I’ve had them for well over a year...and the FIRST round of Bovedas have only just today been thrown out... does a very nice job, though I imagine nothing’s perfect.

Once I can have my own crop, I may just vacuum-seal it in Zeus with a boveda to finish curing...probably a stupid idea, but I’ll find out soon enough, I hope :myday: :science: :leaf:

IMO, the vacuum seal for curing is not a good idea as curing needs some oxygen.
But, vacuum seal could be used after curing has reached a proper state, for the long term storage
phase-- a vacuum might be good. I don't vacuum pack as my JyARZ plus 62 rh Bovedas has worked
so well.
I loosely call the phases: harvest/dry, curing, long term storage.

A good thing about VapCaps is that they can easily handle 62% RH buds. Some vapes struggle with
that moisture level and require some drying action to lower RH before vaping properly.
