Appreciate that friend :) was aware of that one,thought I'd check with you all here to see if there were any higher percent codes. About to pull that trigger !! So many setups and parts they certainly have expanded so my friend got his og setup

I actually talked to Edwyn this morning at NewVape on the phone (in regards to my VROD being stuck issue), and I gotta' say, their customer service is absolutely great :) ... they are taking care of me 100% on this!

On another note though, we discussed the adapter cable/coil issue, and they will supply me with parts in order to be able to produce adapter cables/coils for the community. I am not inclined to actually do the coils, as I feel everyone would be better off w/ an adapter cable as I wouldn't be able to provide any warranty (beyond not DOA) on the coils; that being said, there are some coils available already, so I am undecided on those (as they will likely have to be rewired anyways)

At any rate, I think the price for the adapter cables will be $35 (maybe $30 ... we'll see how it goes, how much time is involved, and what it works out to after shipping, packaging, paypal fees, etc.)

If anyone is interested, send me a PM to work out the details :)

I’m wondering the same thing, specifically if the Labor Day sale will be more than 10% off, because if it’s the same discount during most all of their years sales I’ll just use that one and pull the trigger tonight on a reverse thread Vrod! I’m more than happy that they made one that should work perfect with the 710life enail, which is what I currently use for concentrates. Thank you New Vape!

Since I got mine last year their holiday sales have been 15 or 20% when they have them. Those sales can be a little extra incentive to buy something when I would have put it off, but if I didn’t have a FlowerPot personally I wouldn’t wait around too long for a sale just to save another 5-10% unless I was already stretching my budget. :)

I combusted for the first time through the FP. Got the glass bowls from stevenlmz in and turned it up to 765 to accommodate. Left it there and fluttered the carb cap on a flower hit in the ti bowl and extracted a full bowl in like 2/3 of a pull. Got ballsy and tried again, didn't flutter the carb cap and tugged a little too long after the vapor became wispy and then boom. Disgusting. Soaked the drop downs and bowl and washed out the piece to start a new. Also did a burn off on the head at 1020F. Probably overkill

Turned it back down to 710 and leaving it there for a bit. Testing out the higher temps. The speed of extraction blows me away up here.

Yeah, the only times I've combusted have been up at those temps and playing with the carb cap. My lungs dont like it tho so I usually stay in the 600s at the most. That burn off you did was definitely overkill ;)

Agreed, it is fucking disgusting when it happens and everything gets an instant clean out. Its amazing how much I used to combust and love it, and now its just completely vile :)

Another benefit of being mostly dabs only is never any chance of combustion :D

Haha well bonus to the burn off is now my head is bluing. Before it was just like tanning

It is funny how much smoking disgusts me now. As soon as it happened I was just immediately so bummed. :rofl: One of the best upsides of vaping is everything cleans so much quicker and easier, even than dabbing IMO.

That is for sure a benefit to dabbing, I just can't do it often anymore and it rips up my lungs. Some of these higher temp, capped whole bowl extractions in one hit are basically a dab though.:rockon: But so far my most enjoyable temp is 600-620 capped as well, just playing around with temps since I'm still fairly new to it.

its not the same though. I still smoke joints occasionally and it doesn't taste bad like combusting with the FP.

Thanks. I just found a 3" round plate. If it accepts a 1/4" hex nut like my 1st stand did I think I may have found a base for my "version 2 stand". Reasonably priced too. I'll buy one tomorrow to see if it will work.

If you go to the Glass threads you'll find a lot of info about them.
I have a couple friends that own them.
Very expensive and not that worthy in my opinion.
They stack lots of bubbles, but takes flavor and they are kind of hard to clean too...
The guy that makes them is an old school grumpy glassblower, that's still trying or did patent the use of fritted discs on water tools...
Fritted discs exist way before someone used them for smoking, they are used for several chemical, food and different factories, as filtration of all kinds....

Fuck, Fuck, Fuuuuuuuuuuuck!!!!!! First I get screwed by the post office now I can't order anything on NV? Fuck my life!!!! Waited all day for my flowerpot, "out for delivery" it says!!! Finally, I saw the truck pull up. It's pouring rain heavily, thunderstorm type rainfall. So she sits in the truck. I can see the fucker just sitting there (my regular lady's on vacation). It's raining hard so I understand. 10 minutes go by, she's still sitting there. Ok it's pouring, she's waiting for rain to slow down..... I understand. 20 minutes passed, the rain slows, she gets out with a box..... she goes next door!! Fuck she is killing me!!! While delivering next door the rain begins to pour down again, she runs back to the truck and goes inside the back. She comes to the front of the truck with a box and sits down again!!! Ok, that has to be my package and she must be waiting the the rain to slow up again. She sits there 10 more minutes. I turn my back to get my robe so that I'm ready when she rings the bell. I turn back to look out the window and the truck is gone. Wait,...what???? Da Fuck did she go?!?!?!!!!! I'm pissed but maybe it's on another truck. That happens sometimes. I wait an hour and check tracking again. It says "Attempted Delivery" no one available to sign, notice left. The fucking bitch never approached my house!!!! And my cameras will prove she never got back out of the truck. Notice left??? What Notice? Where? Boy is her supervisor going to get an ear full of bullshit in the morning. And to top it all off, now I can't make an order on NV. Went to grab glass bowls, screens, a stubby bowl etc., go to pay, DECLINED!!! Address doesn't match bank info. Huh? I just bought the flowerpot the other day with same card. So I check my NV account and see that my address is wrong. Dunno how that happened but ok, I will fix it. Changed everything and try to pay again.....same problem. Check my NV account and my address is changed again. So I fix it again, billing address and shipping address are different, always has been for 20 years and was that way when i ordered the flowerpot. But for some reason now, everytime I change my billing address, the system automatically changes my shipping address to match and vice versa no matter how many times i correct it, save it or update it. My billing is my business address and i obviously don't want the package to go there @NewVape710 is there something wrong with the site? Anyway apologies to the holy rollers and anyone else I may have offended with my language, it's been one of those days. Fresh delivery of chocolate hashberry, Lizzy Borden and Gorilla glue #4 was fuckin ready!!!!

Edit: Sidebar: I scored a barely used NewVape fine grinder in the classifieds and holy balls this is some fine craftsmanship. If the flowerpot build quality is anything like this grinder I think I will be a very happy man.

2 Questions;

1st one:
For those who use both the Wrap-Around for concentrates and the ShowerHead for Flowers, what are your favorite temperatures for both?

Also, I don't know about you but I quite dislike the WA as far as Flowers only and even Twaxing, I find the WA to give rather un-uniform Flower vaporization, with the edges of the inside bowl a much lighter color than the rest of the Bowl. Which, when compared to the ShowerHead, is rather a nuisance.

For this reason alone, I much prefer doing capped Twax hits from my ShowerHead than my Wrap-Around...
Am I alone who feels this way?

Second Question:
I was wondering if there are other FP users who are Lefties?
(I grab the FP withe my left and leave the bong on the table. For Flower I use my Left for the FP and right to Hold the Bowl to "Unstick" them.
For Concentrates, Left for FP, then dab with Left and Cap with the Right hand.)

I'd also be interested in seeing how you've arranged your FP "Station". (I'll try and borrow a Camera to get one of mine, I apologize for not providing one of my own to get the ball rolling, but I'm missing a piece for my older digital camera and my phone one was broken (even more than it was before...).
I'll try to get a picture in ASAP...

@SunnyHours I have both the WA and showerhead, and I have to agree that I think in comparison to the showerhead the WA head is not very good for flower, and even twaxing is not as great as I imagine a VRod is. For just doing dabs, it is great I love the SiC and quartz. I usually seem to hover around 680-690 with the WA but have been still figuring the showerhead out, currently I have it at 615 but will likely go down lower. I am having a hard time with the showerhead, and my breath speed but am starting to figure it out. I combusted a few times, and will probably do it again while I figure it out haha.

As for set up Im always changing it up so cant really comment on a set style of usage

Hi everyone, I'm new to the forum and have a bunch of questions about NewVape stuff! Don't usually hear about them much on reddit but the quality looks great.

I'm mostly a dabber, if I use the flowerpot vrod twax just with oils is it equal to a good e-nail or is flower recommended to make the experience worth it?

Also, can anyone comment as to the quality of their 20mm wrap around hybrid nail with sic dish? https://www.newvape.com/wrap-around-enail-male-14-18mm

im currently just using a quartz banger but looking for the best experience in terms of dab flavor!

I would go this one instead and pair it with the 28.5 NewVape sic dish. Not sure what would be best for carb caps here ...

I just used one of these to make my own stand as well a couple weeks ago. Floor flange is what it was called IIRC. Theres a bunch of different sizes, I think I got the 3/4 inch and it worked pretty well. Would have worked better if I had a better pipe screwed into it but still worked well.

I recommend washing with dish soap and water and then iso, I got mine from home depot and it was covered in oils and shit.

No answer about the coil so I’m pretty nervous I won’t be able to use my new toy right away lol. On the site the vrod is advertised as being compatible with a sapphire dish. Is that the dnail halo dish? And has anybody tried it? I’m tempted to try my sapphire dish with it once I get the coil situation figured out, but I do have a SiC halo as well.
