Anyone know a reliable source for the correct size 18mm female joint? I want to try replacing it myself since RBT wants $40 and who knows how long it could take him to get to repairs with all the other stuff he has going on.

And I know this has been discussed as nauseum, but can someone please post a link to a suitable nontoxic wood/glass glue? (or even a link to the FC posts discussing this)

All i have on hand is a tube of regular Gorilla Glue super glue ATM.

Thanks for asking this. I would like to know this information as well. I guess if the lack of responses continues you can maybe PM Braven since he was repairing them for awhile before he decided to rip off the design and go into business himself.

vapen00b

Many vapes & accessories. Always happy to help
Posted this on the Splinter thread too - but it's about RBT, so hope it's ok:

This might be your last chance to support RBT and get one of his wonderful products:

10% OFF using the code: RBTCHINA

I still hope RBT stays in business. But without a doubt, he won't make it, if we don't spread the word.
Will support him til the end- whenever that will be.

Peace

Why would he repair something if he had done what you accused him of? Check your facts.

We don't need to revisit this :worms: again. If you would like to talk about originality of design of these products, please do it via PM as we are not going to allow for another flame war to start in one of these threads.

Thank you.

I am so sorry to hear that RBT is in so bad shape. My Milaana is my daily driver and I love it so much. Ryan may not be a good businessman but his sweat has made possible a whole new generation of vaporizers and there is a lot of people who will enjoy the fruits of the trees he has planted.

Posted my original concern over on the splinter thread about a milaana that I had sent in for repair and possibly a glass size change.
Felt this followup up really is better posted here.

Just returned home to find that I had receive a package from RBT. Inside is my repaired Milaana and it now it has blue glass. Ryan even tossed in a matching blue stem.

My concern was that the repair would be 19/19 and would not work with my other stems. After checking all the wood stems i'm happy to report they all work.

Just ran my first stem thru it and on top of liking the blue glass it seems like the vapor quality has improved over the earlier version I had sent in.

Anyways here she is back home with a new look. :)

I got my Milaana! I feel good :) With customs and such it's a bit higher than I thought but still, I'm really glad I have this beauty. Need some battery cases and other glass stems. Anybody knows how you can order from DHGate glass that is compatible with the Milaana?

Because I'm in Europe I cannot really order from the man himself, but I can order from for example VapeFiend. But, because most glass is just marked up chinese glass I want to go more directly to the source, which is why I'm here.

Also I have a clear glass stem instead of a dark colored one, does that mean anything? I see the manual has green glass.

I ordered mine via someone else because Europeans cannot order directly anymore, or anywhere for that matter which is quite a shame. Anyone has some tips I need to know?

Congrats on your new Milianna.
My first 2 Milaana came with a long and short clear glass stem. My Splinter came with a short amber and short clear stem.
My newly repaired Milaana came back with blue inner glass and blue stem.

I'm not complaining about it. This newish Milaana with the blue glass feels like it maybe has a newer heater? Really looks great and the performance is better than I remembered. Still need do a side by side with my spare but leaning toward keeping the blue glass one.

Anyway a big thanks to Ryan. I love the new look and turn around wasn't too bad. A extra special thanks for no charge on this repair. :)

If you are okay with Teflon on the outside of the vapor path you can buy a roll of Teflon tape for less than one dollar. A few winds around the joint should make the stems fit better.

I have purchased stems from a place called mountain glass.

IIRC the glass on new units will all be clear.

Okay thanks. So was very excited but that feeling is a bit resided when i talked with my friend. I told how i got it (via a private person) he made me paranoid. Told me that it was a good way for them to “refresh” their Milaana. So i checked a bit and i saw that the bottom was scratched, like user marks so to spreak. Is this possible with a brand new unit?

Also my glass stem does not have a screen it, is that normal as well?

Would be a bummer if it was a second hand...

WHO did you buy it from??? You'll want to put a screen in the Stem!

I asked someone to buy a Milaana for me to send it through to me, because RBT doesn't send it to Europe anymore. After inspecting there are scratches on the Milaana, which tells me that this unit is used. But maybe in production these scratches came on it?

Also I see that every stem has a screen in it, which you cannot get out? Looking at my stem there is no screen it it, which seems to tell me that this is maybe an older unit? Where these stems didn't came with screens?

I don't want to contact that person and unrightfully call them out on giving me a second hand unit. If it is a new unit they have helped me very nice, but something just doesn't feel right...

I hoped you guys could give me some peace of mind (or confirmation that this is indeed a second hand unit, so I can call that person out)

Hello @CIWYW The screens are not built into the stems. Would have been nice if the sender included one. Vapefiend may carry the proper screens, also lamart.ch has basket screens here. Other stems they have that will work with your Milaana as well. Their bent mouthpiece is a beauty. Hope your enjoying it soon.

Had a little modding done to my OG Milaana.

About the screen in the stem I can tell you that my unit, which is the last revision, came with it inserted. I bought it from vapefiend.

@SloJimFizz How did you do that design?? It´s awesome!!
