Stay charged, my friends
This checks all the boxes for me... the only thing keeping me from picking up the IQ is the bowl size and inelegant spacer approach to reducing the amount of material needed. Any ideas on a release date?

Oh - and cleaning / maintenance ease too!

So, a smaller version of a full conduction vape. I'm sure that this will fill the bill for those wanting a very small and stealthy vape for out and about, but that's not a use case for me.

Conduction works, no doubt, but I prefer hybrid or full convection.

So, since I don't travel out and vape very much and its full conduction, it would not be a vape for me.

But I look forward to reviews by other owners for whom this device does suit.

Battery life is going to be worse then the cfv. I guess it's replaceable

Cfv had two of these batteries. I'd guess miqro is about 15-20 mins run time

Edit!! I just got it

The review I read said 4, 5 minute sessions. The big kit comes with a spare battery I think. The basic doesn’t.

I've been enjoying my MIQRO for about a week. I love love love the way it looks and feels and carries.

I put up a quick review and demo video onto my new youtube channel

I also posted some editorial and a bunch of close-up pics and IQ comparison shots

Troy nice video. By any chance did they omit that space between the airpath and oven that the Iq has and is very hard to clean ?

For those who have one, did they reinforce the pearl connection to make it easier to change oven size without braking it off? Also did they make it adjustable for micro dosing or will we still need glass spacers? And if you’ve tried the smallest oven size, about how much can it hold in the smallest position?

The new pearl is WAY better imo. Not only is it much more functional for reducing bowl size, its also easier to twist in and out (since its an oval vs round) and they also give you an extra post and gasket for replacing if you do somehow damage your first one.

I don't think anyone will need any sort of spacers, unless your goal is to vape VERY small bowls like .05g or less. With the pearl alone you can get it down to about .1g though

There's a similar gap between the bottom of the bowl and the removable vapor path. I gave it a quick clean just now and it didn't seem to be as difficult as the IQ - but only time will tell.
I'm very interested in this specific topic as well :)

The pearl on the Miqro is easier to adjust than the pearl on my IQ. It doesn't move as far, but it moves more easily. It reduces the already small bowl by 40% and makes it function better with small amounts. No spacers needed. The pearl isn't round anymore though and when it's extended it doesn't always line up with the bowl - not a complaint, but a very minor annoyance.

The miqro also comes with an extra pearl gasket and pearl post in case it does manage to break.
I feel more confident fiddling the miqro pearl than the IQ pearl, but my IQ is nearly 2 years old its pearl and pearl parts probably aren't the finest example anymore.

As for size, one single scoop full from delta3dstudios scooper works well with the pearl extended. I think it's about .1g

Well said. I don't think the device is suited for me specifically, but I think it will fill the need of many others.

Most vape users aren't nearly as dedicated and snobbish as we are.

I managed to vape 3 bowls with my Miqro and could have started the 4th.
I don't think I've ever got to the 3rd bowl with the CFV.

Ok cool. .1 is about perfect for me. I’ve been using an OmniVap for a while so .1 is about the amount I’m used to for a session. I had to use the glass spacer in my IQ and it was a pain to load on the go. I gave that to my brother since he uses a lot more than I do. I just need to justify the cost of this one when my wife asks why I bought another vape lol

Just a bit smaller, still nice but I'll keep my IQ thanks

Yeah, this isn't a replacement for the IQ (unless you want both a portable and an ULTRA_portable). It performs similarly, but in smaller form. It is intended as a more "personal unit" (if that can be a thing to be even more personal). [EDIT: Add to the fact they engineered this to accommodate micro-dosing on the low-end, so it can deal with tiny loads quite efficiently.]

But if you don't have a portable (or got a friend that is new to vaping), then this is great!

I find the price more attractive than the size. I did not see anything about adjustable heat settings?

It is adjustable. It has the typical 4 programs in it for easy of use, but then you can also dial in it manually 1°F (or C) at a time.

Interested in knowing how the MIQRO performs in the size vs. harshness category...

It isn't harsh at all. It is very akin to the IQ.

Is there silicone under the top lid? And under the bottom one?

Hey! Long time.
There is a gasket around the replaceable mouth-piece that mainly holds it in place, although there is a little bit around the place where the internal zirconia "straw" (replaces the flavor chamber in the IQ) contacts the mouth-piece. But it is both so minimal and air leaving the zirconia straw is cooled so well, it isn't being exposed to much (if any) heat, that really only the pedantic would fixate on it.

None in the lower area (that I know of, outside of possibly under the pearl.).

Oh - and cleaning / maintenance ease too!

I think it is easier to clean than the IQ. The bowl itself seems (or feels anyway...) a bit better shaped and centered with easier holes in the bottom (top if you turn it proper side up). The straw also seem much easier to deal with, from a cleaning perspective, than the flavor chamber.

I have the original IQ and I love it! Other then size, weight, and adjustable oven anything else the MIQRO different than the IQ?

Obviously, things got reduced in size to fit such a tiny space. So things like the battery and screen are shorter. In addition, on of the big things is a zirconia "straw" in place of the flavor chamber. The chamber was an excellent idea, but I didn't wind up using it as much as I expected, so no sense wasting the space here!

[EDIT: Also, IIRC, there is no app or user defined curves, but I'm confirming if this is true...]

If you no longer have an IQ, this would be a good choice for you. Factor in the small load size, and it fits even better. (Smaller batteries in this, so small loads go much further). Plus this has really been designed to handle everything from a large use down to the micro-dose, so you are covered.

Hi mate, long time indeed! You wouldn't believe how much of a vape snob I became now that I went down the rabbit hole in my quest for vapor path purity! Chances are I would be that kind of pedantic as I can't stand silicone anymore. ;)

Just posted my review, it's definitely not bad I was just hoping for more of a difference from the IQ. If you vape small amounts at a time, and don't mind draw resistance, you would probably like this one. The look/feel & functionality of the features is great, just hoped to see an improvement in performance also.

Is there a reason no link to your review is provided?

I'm going to quickly just throw my 2 cents into the convo. I had a Iq when it 1st released , got plagued by the terrible customer service when it needed a repair for acting up. 4 weeks later I had a new full working Iq in my hands. A few months later same issue but I was taken care of a bit quicker the 2nd time around. Loved the vapor out put , size and user replaceable batteries. Now 3rd issue arises & the company admits to it being a problem. The gasket between the bowl and flavor chamber is hard to clean builds up with resin quickly and what happens is that rubber gasket expands causing the flavor chamber to rise and not allow me to close the lid . 2nd time this happened, the company let me know its a issue but they are not fixing it which I have in email from them. Also it took weeks to get my Iq back so when it arrived I sold it. I liked the vape allot when it was working but do not see the issues fixed with this mini model or I'd grab 1 bc it happened to be really nice in the rotation. I do wish it used 18650's . Hoping everyone can stay updated to see if this may be a problem with the mini.

Not sure why anyone would expect a device 33% smaller and about half the price to perform better...

Thanks for sharing your feedback. Noted! Also, Just want to be clear, the MIQRO and IQ are different. It's not a mini IQ although it appears to be.

and there is no flavour chamber on the Miqro, so the internal construction should be different. For the price these are going to sell for, it’s going to be worth trying either way. I’m always looking for smaller and more convenient ways to vape while out and about. Right now I’ve been stuck on oil pens when I’m not home. I just use my dry herb portables around the house or for hiking. This one is small enough that I might finally be able to use a dry herb vape while out. The big factors for me being heat up time and how hot they get on the external shell. It’s just easier to pull out a pen, take a puff or two, then stow it. But I prefer flower to concentrates. The Miqro might finally do t for me. The IQ was almost there. The biggest negatives for me being the chamber size and how hot it got.

Yw and I was told that there is a gasket between the chamber on this model. If this is true what is preventing the same problem from happening again ? I like the Iq and this 1 looks awesome to me just do not want to throw my money out if the problem can possibly happen again down the line.
