iHeat 510 Heater Cartridge

Alan

Master JedHI
Manufacturer
The side arm is used for the mouthpiece. You sort of feel like 007 in the movie Thunderball using the breathing device to escape the shark pool. I find it more comfortable to hold the iHeat at 90 degrees to your mouth rather than perpendicular to it. All of the particulate matter that does make it to the end of the test tube, stays below the silicone sleeve. It creates a distinct dirty/clean line. I'm really enjoying the new cooling tube with the iHeat, Lil' Bud, and Heat Island.

That's pretty cool, and kind of awkward lol now I see why some silicone tubing on the mouthpiece would be convenient.

Pretty interesting and versitile stem

@Andreaerdna - Glad you are enjoying your Witcher box. I still enjoy mine every day. I have found the best way to eliminate the need for stirring is to use about a dime size pile of flower so that you can still see the top rim of the screen when you lightly pack down the flower. Certainly possible to sell you a replacement coil ready to be formed into the spiral. That would eliminate the need for any tools other than some needle nose pliers to bend the wires.

Just wondering if you where ever able to get the witcher box working in TC mode? Trying decide if want buy something new for this one. There cheap enough in price to grab one just for iheat use.

Really enjoying temperature control and steady rate of power these mods bring the table. Matched with the convection on demand vapor attachments I'm one happy camper.

Also if anyone's is using a dna device linked below is littles something I been messing with. Currently no iheat profile but 7 and 8 profile should work with it. There's some custom profile wire materials that I found work good. FC theme with a few custom screens (example in avatar). It's a work in progress but anyones welcome to use it. Customize it.

Also discussion on mods for 510 conversation over in diy don't want clutter this with mod talk :)

Please follow instruction listed and enjoy. Questions or comment please ask in the above link.

Nah skip the Witcher, it's not a good mod at all. You get better chipsets on any of the lowest fasttech clone mods easily. The only appeal is the SBS design, but even there the mod is bulky and heavy, it's a cast alloy I believe, not aluminium.

Thanks getting little forgetful...if I remember right you and others had some problems with it and TC did they ever replace yours?

Not sure if really like Movkin Disguiser either. Maybe just best to get a heatsink and use same mod as the splinter.

looking at pic's of the iheat online trying decide on the wood I want. I tend to like lighter color so thinking the maple burl?

Been a crazy month or so. Wasn't able get any for vacation due to health. Ended up spending a nice chunk of what I woulda spent on vacation on vaporizer.

Between the nomad and now the iheat. I don't mind missing out on vacation as much. :)

They acknowledged somehow the issue and let me chose between sending it back to China or getting a partial refund. Chose the latter as of course it was not worth the shipping cost...

We really need to find or produce a good DNA based SBS mod that could accept all 510 dry herb attachments that are trendy these days.

That's good at least you got some kinda resolve . Can still use it in power mode? Kinda wonder if maybe shoulda got a 2 battery mode for stempod.

Really the enclosure would be there hardest part I have no skills with woodwork or 3d printing. Rest of stuff be easy enough to acquire. Just need think on a good design. Something along this design but scaled better for our use it says it fits 25mm

Spoke with Alan so I'll be joining you all over here.

Going add iheat to the dna fcshare file. Any suggestion on screen was thinking something built around Alans avatar?

Alan or others have any suggestions?

Also thing found close to what I want for the vape bar. Just not keen on the white legs.
Ton of choice out there for ecig stuff. Was searching for stem rack duh.

SBS? I'd like something like that. Also a nice pairing with wooden bodies of the 518 attachements.

It's a minion box v1 by tek division, a slovacian manufacturer. But this design is not continued anymore.
But the way would be the right one imo

Here's another model by tek division, the Golem. It's heatsink shaped atomizer base looks great.

Imagine the shape and design of the minion box paired with this (26-28mm) atomizer base, DNA 250 chip and 26650 accu.

It isn't as wide but it should for a FC mod.

More I look at it more I do like the layout. That shape but in wood. Have room for a 250c plus 2 batteries. mount the 510 lower than pic to hold the iheat.

Dreams aside might just get another heatsink or spinner for the iheat really not seeing a lot of dna250c that catch my eye. Maybe by christmas be better choices.

Closest I liked is lost vape mirage in wood but it's not a dna250. Also concerned seems some of the 1 battery mods have problems with TC.

I was intending starting a DIY thread regarding a SBS mod. Basically we need an L shaped enclosure, hoping we could pool resources to make one.

Been using the witcher and iheat all weekend. Love it. The form factor is fantastic, really small. Truly pocket sized. Reinforced my belief that we need a purpose built SBS enclosure for 510 vapes.

Cant get TC mode to work same as @KeroZen. Anoying but not a big deal. The form factor makes it worth it. Need a longer stem as the heat is a bit much.

I be game to help :)

Might grab one of the Movkin Disguiser Kerozen said iheat would fit. Found some for 10 bucks to mess with. Wonder if could switch boards to a dna?

Older video but still kinda a neat watch on making a sbs wood mode.

Like the design of Golem above. If made it in wood with a dna250c would be future proof for a long time. Could just replace anything that breaks instead of whole mode.

For clarification. The Golem was the fat one with that awesome heatsink shaped atomizer base. You do mean the L-shaped SBS Minion.

Thinking Golem like one pictured above. The minion doesn't leave much room for dna2590c. Seems like the 1 battery mods have more problem with TC? Really what I dislike is the walkie talkie look. So even something like the SBS minion designed around dna75c.

Maybe we should make a new post in diy area for this?

I have not posted here in a while....just to let you guys know i went to Alans house earlier today. Picked up some stems and a new Heat Island aka the Hi. I got a chance to try his new cooling stem out. Needless to say i picked one up as well. It hits rather nicely and had me coughing due to the face i inhaled so much vapor. Its always a pleasure to visit @Alan he loves to talk about different vapes and he has a very nice collection. i get stem envy everytime i go to his house. picked up 4-5 new stems today. i will post pictures when i get back to Atlanta. Keep up the good work man. I am a customer for life!!!!!
