This is a vape that always needs to be clean. I didn’t think my lids were dirty and well my performance was starting to suck. I was bummed cause I had friends over. Had to vape the Arizer Air from a buddy. Not my go to vape. But after doing a deep clean in vaping a nice bowl of grabd daddy purple and NY Sour Diesel. Haha. Some satisfying hits now for sure.

Moral is, even if the lids don’t look dirty after a week or two they need to be cleaned.

I haven’t run this vape for a bit...my lowest is 350 I think. Started it up and man was it a flavor train. Absolutely stopped me in my tracks!

Got a 3rd tray cover and 2 stainless steel pods ordered. Hopefully those 2 extra loading trays come along with the order. Will update everyone what I think of the new pods when I get them.

Well I got my order in, and alas, still no missing loading trays??!! :myday:

The only thing I am mildly annoyed with is the fact that I still don't have my 2 extra trays, extra battery, and other missing stuff from my June 6th shipment. I understand the need to get other orders out but in my eyes the people who paid the higher price for the Wanderlust collection should receive their items in a timely manner - otherwise don't offer to purchase them in advance. Not a huge deal but I mostly want the trays for being able to load 3-4 days of vaping to go and not be screwing with it every night. I know @Haze Vaporizers has it on lock as their CS is truly great. Spoke to someone in CS 2 weeks ago who confirmed they are coming but without a definite timeline. Just hoping we don't go too much longer without getting the much needed extras which was the whole point of Wanderlust!

I am pretty annoyed about the missing parts from the Wanderlust package. Can we at least get an estimated arrival date @Haze Vaporizers? A bunch of us have asked patiently. I now have 2 extra tray covers for no reason other than swapping them out to prolong deep cleaning. I get it, you got loads of orders and people to answer/communicate with, but c'mon take care of the people who threw down the most moolah to support your product first. You guys have been doing a great job at taking care of a lot of issues people are having, but please get us these missing items. Like @Stdudez said, being able to load up 3-4 days of vaping was one of the main selling points for the wanderlust package. I'm going to be travelling soon, and it would benefit me greatly while on the road.

Ok enough of the rant.......:luv:

As for the steel pods. I gotta say so far so good. Only went through 1 full pod and just started the 2nd. Seems to produce thicker vape quicker. Flavor is still awesome as ever. I'll be able to do a deep clean and side by side tomorrow to test it all out. Personally I'm leaning towards the steel pods for the sake of sturdiness. As for aesthetics, the steel pods win too. I never noticed this until tonight, but I have one pod that is kind of "dimpled"/warped inward and is probably causing it to not heat up as it should. The steel pods sit nice and flush, and won't warp as easily. Don't know why the factory pod was warped up, but thankfully I have plenty more being unused without a loading tray to call home.:2c:

4 chambers. How many draws per chamber? I mean every vaporizer I have I load 4 times every time I use it. This includes desktops like an Evo. How big are these chambers and for heavy users how many chambers do u kill each session?

Are trays interchangeable too? So multiple 4 chamber trays just swap and vape?

@Brewervapesalot 1 bowl will get you pretty lit. The square packs more punch than any portable I have used. That being said its pretty easy to go through 2-3 bowl in a sitting.

So I thought I would share my experience with a Pax 3 user.
I have been talking up the Square this past week and a buddy of mine is a big PAX fan. So we engaged in the typical back and fourth and he tried to tell me all of the great things about his PAX. When we got to the subject of cleaning he got silent as I shared the ability to break the Square down for cleaning. He then confided the one thing that drove him nuts was not having the ability to fully clean the PAX.
I then suggested we sit down on 2 separate occasions with the same Herb and enjoy a oven from the PAX and then on the next day enjoy a Pod from the Square. He agrees to this...
To make a long story short last night after the fresh greens of a pod delivered from the Square he was immediately on the Haze website ordering a Square Pro.

I’m really enjoying the SS pods, and have found that the resin seems to really effect the mouth piece O rings. Using the wax almost seems to help keep the resin from building up. I’ve also been taking the Mouth piece out and letting it cool in a sense to avoid that expansion before putting in back into yhe holder.

What about putting coconut oil on the mouth piece o rings? Will that work for those of us who do not have wax?

Yup.... fill trays and swap as needed

Is o wipes and a spray of air will extend life of screens in between deep cleans...but nothing beats deep clean especially if you are looking for flavor

Cleaning needs to be done on a regular. Yesterday I was getting zero visible vapor and looked like an idiot with some friends who really wanted to try it. None of us were getting good hits. After they left I did a deep clean and then you could see a little bit of vapor on the exhale of 395. Hoping today I get some real good sessions with it now that it’s fully clean. It didn’t look too dirty between the screens. But couldn’t figure out what else could be hurting vapor production.

I personally have two trays and after those trays are done i do a deep clean.

I honestly thought you should be able to have 4- 6 sessions per bowl. That’s not the case that I’m learning now. I get 4 days off one bowl. But I guess after a full tray which is about a week depending I need to deep clean.

Are you getting full extraction @ 390?

getting regular combusion on the first draw of a pod. I use the stock 2-3 setting to start. Took it out for its first road trip and Id say that was the only downfall, though a bigger one at that. Its always the first draw and that somewhat ruins the rest of the pod. The coil is not uneven. I’m waiting for green. Seems. Like the first press is actually getting the pod much hotter than the others... maybe i need to let the first press pass/cool then draw on the next one...? Bit annoying

Look for my post a few pages back .....I can see coil heat up when it's apart.....and I really think first combustion hits when unit is cold is due to fact chamber heats to 800 degrees ...I see this with my own eyes .....on cold unit......and stays really bright for several secs and then dims quickly no flickering....next press the coil gets bright and immediately after button released or times out it goes into a fast flickering state where it cools down. Haze has said this is normal as it needs to get the chamber and material ready to vape....I am not discounting who believe in a bug with their units....but I have not had a first hit combust since burning off first press with no draw!!!!

Please look!!!!!!!

Man I found a solid way to fix loose mps the only thing is you need an additional orin g or take one off additional mp to make it work.I had one that broke so I snipped just three to four cm off broke orin g ...took my wax and put in groove..... Then pushed in to wax the little piece and rolled the other orin g over the piece and in t o groove....this creates a bump in orin g essentially making it thicker and stopped all leaks

I also figured out how to tell if mp is causing issues...put finger over intake on tray and blow hard if you feel or hear air then mp is too loose.

@VapeMeister Supreme I agree completely. I find fresher moist flower to give much better, thicker, tastier hits.

I also find vapor production drops off as battery life depletes.

@Djsleepy have u used your new larger coil? If so any difference? My coil seems to warp some without double pressing. I have replacements coming.

@RougeGuy I just experienced the same results with a 25 percent battery hardly any vapor had to bring up high. I did it on purpose because I haven't let the battery drop below 20 before a charge so I was curious of the batteries performance when low, its not doing too well.

Definitely something to keep in mind

I do three pods on full charge average temp 365 and by middle of third pod definite loss of vapor /flavor.... Thank God for the quick charge!!!

Anyone know the battery mah if thats the appropriate way to discuss its capacity.

I'm curious whether the Square is an energy hog or battery could be bigger, or both or neither.

As someone mentioned, the highs definitely more than make up for its shortcomings.

@FlyingLow - I’m still dialing it in, but I’m camped on 480f for extracts and it’s fantastic. I put enough for an average dab and get one to two big hits and some cleanup hits. All I need to do now is land on my draw speed...first pods were perfect, but when I pulled harder on later pods I got some extract on top of the silicone and screen...need to slow my draw down.

For flowers I wasn’t satisfied on anything lower than 420f, so I went straight to the top at 480f without combusting, but it still went too far. Right now I’ve backed it down as low as 450 and like it. 460f was a tad much for my taste. Out of the box it does the job for most, but people like me who want to squeeze it all out will need access to the app.

But it was all I used again last night. Went through about 3 extract pods and two herb pods and every one just hammered me. I’m about to get on a plane for Champs and always bring a slew of vapes to show off, but this will be the one I use all week out there. I’ll say it again...this isn’t a perfect vape, but I just don’t care. I’m so stoked to have a portable that can fuck me up in an instant, and several times on a single loading!

I do think the coconut oil will help for sure. Having some kind of oil based substance will create a barrier not allowing the resin to stick. The only thing is you may need to apply the coconut oil more frequently than the wax. You will have to see when the mouthpiece starts to get sticky. I’ve noticed mine starts to get sticky in the holder after about 7-8 pods.

Havent noticed my mouth piece get sticky at all.

Also it’s confirmed my deep clean fixed my issue. First hit off a bowl that was used a tad yesterday, got some nice vapor. Screens can’t be sticky or have shit on em.

This is awesome. I’ll say though I’m surprised you need to be that high for flower. I go 360, 380, 400, 410 and 430. I’m gettting good extraction even at 360 and then finishing off at 410 and occasionally 430

Yeah I’m shocked at that too. My highest I go to is 395. And my bowls are coming out real nice. So long as my screens are clean.
