Anybody watch "Fringe?" Great MJ reference!

Last night's Fringe episode opens with Dr. Walter Bishop hitting a bong and listening to Yes - Roundabout. His assistant walks in and says "you're smoking marijuana."

He says, "I'd hardly classify what I just smoked as marijuana. A hybrid of Chronic Supernova and Afghani Kush - I call it Brown Betty."

Hilarious. The whole episode is a pot-induced fairytale with the whole cast singing (including corpses).

As brilliant as this character is supposed to be, you would think he would be vaping though.

In last weeks episode he found a roach in the car in the beginning of the episode and said it wasn't as good as what he grows. It's a great show.

Yeah, been watching Fringe since their first pilot. One of the better shows on TV. Hell, they've even got Spock in an alternate universe. ;)

i watched last night's episode as far as the vape session and description of "Brown Betty" ... then i turned it off when the storyline went weird ... and watched last week's Real Time which i had missed.

Arrgh!
I didn't know they were back from season break.. must check in tonight!
I've also been watching Fringe from the start. I like the vibe, and every once in a blue moon they throw out an X-files reference.

indigal,
This show sounds like I'd like it. I don't watch tv, so I never hear of these good shows, until someone urges me to watch it. Then I just buy shows on dvd. Shoot, I'd never watched Lost until about a week ago, and now I'm 4 episodes in to the 5th season(thank you netflix), and I'll probably end up watching the last episodes on tv. Is there any way to watch this show somewhere on the web?

Yep- We have no TV (by choice) so internet TV or the library and occasionally Netflix is it.
Fox's website puts up the episodes, maybe Hulu, but have not checked there.

Fringe is a little over the top at times, some camp, but is very engaging none the less.

Fringe is really good. Right now its one episode from finale for the season. I heard it got picked up for a 3rd. My DVR has it set at highest priority. Only because I will not watch anything live. To busy to watch commercials.
