I notice bongs with more diffusion require a lower temp but it sounds like you may have less diffusion now.

That's pretty normal with the Showerhead, especially if the straight tube uses a removable downstem. Those type of tubes tend to have very little draw restriction compared to the backpressure chug of a stemless design like the CCG.

yes, part of the reason for a new bong was the diffusion, on the straight tube it was killing flavor and just kind of large to be letting sit around all the time. the new piece has much less diffusion, much less restriction also. i just found it weird that i had to lower temps so much.

have not tried the vrod on the new piece yet. hopefully get to try that tonight.. wonder if i'll be sitting at 550 with vrod hooked up.. that'd be 100 degrees less than what i use on the straight tube with vrod.

thanks for your perspective all

Anyone have the battery and chassis. Me wants for the balcony.

Hi @biohacker Im in toronto , I could use one of the rev b pegs, any extras? ;)

Edit instead of new post.

Man I got some really good gg4 and when it came to perfect cure (1 day in a jar after receiving from bcbudstore) I did my first rip of the day and halfway through had so much vapor I coughed into my water piece and had a little sizzle as the water touched my bowl. Then did 2 more bowls (as I was now prepared) and had the best flower only sessions ever.
I am a happy V-rodder

Newvape will have them for $20 soon, lets ask @newvape918 when?

The dnail site had some for $40 (I think) factory seconds. And brand new for more$

Im using my highfive hydrid nails sic dish, it fits in but is more shallow, the v-rod carb cap fits it (so does the highfive carb cap for their hybrid nail.

Now the highfive sic dish works great with a carb cap, without it leaves a pronounced ring due to it being more shallow.

I’ll have to look into the high five! Thanks

NP, as mentioned high five sic dish without cap, the ring is crazy, but capped works flawlessly.
Cheers

High5 doesn't have any SiC dishes on their site ... just the quartz one for the hybrid nail ... they also don't have the hybrid nail on their site.

PV carries the High5 hybrid nail, but it is $200 CAD with SiC dish ...

Did you read the descriptions? You need the #1 adapter since you're using another coil on a High5 controller. Enjoy your VAS again! ;)

Yeah, as said above, none of those adapters will mate with the NV coil and its very hard to find connector type.

Yeah, they are exploding in popularity and up to their asses in alligators due to their rapid success. The word is out that New Vape makes the some of the best products in the world. People are also beginning to understand that for the New Vape owner good is never enough. I have never seen a company strive for perfection like this in my life. Out of all the gear I have owned over the years New Vape blows everything else out of the water. In spite of these growing pains New Vape still delivers pretty damn quickly. Just remember when New Vape is swamped things may take a little bit longer.

hahaha...they should pay you for these advertisements! haha

The original intent was to make a supply for those OG Vrod owners as an update to Rev B. However, it seems like SH owners alike are taking to the idea of modding/customizing their rigs/airflow also.

Ill be sure to post an update on the availability, fellas!

Going forward, will it go back to Rev A and include one post? Or is Rev B here to stay? I feel like Rev A with a post gives the best of both worlds.

@MileHighHuman ... this won't work ... the NV male coil end is proprietary (at least as far as e-nails go ... I think you find them on some CB's and industrial equipment as well!). The High5 adapters go from High5 wired XLR-5-pin to d-nail/standard XLR-5-pin. You need an adapter cable w/ an XLR-5 pin male end and a female GX16-5 connector (which I have been unable to find anywhere in the world online ... ... despite inquiring to multiple Chinese suppliers and searching endlessly online ... only place I can find them is by ordering the NV extension cable then cutting off the male end and replacing with standard 5-pin XLR)

Looking at it a bit, I think you will have some difficulty finding an inline GX16 female. Seems like these are all configured as panel mounts with the female installed in the box and the male being on the connecting cable. Haven't seen a female in line connector in this type for your adapter but I KNOW I haven't spent as much time on it as you.....just a quick search.

I still think the connector decision was a mistake and the additional current capacity is not needed for this application while at the same time it limits customer options as we have seen.

Cheers

i like the scoop dabber, despise ball point, but pencil isnt bad either as long as its not something like crumble.

i see those ball points everywhere locally though.. either people love them and they carry tons of stock, or they hate them and they cant get rid of the existing stock..

Big fan of NV's ball point dabber. I love the standard scoop they send out but too much oil travels up the stem. The tiny ball point that NV uses, next to no oil travel at all, no matter how much I touch the ball on the dish.

Standard ball point dabber from some random seller I've forgotten is the big one, NV ball point dabber is the small one. I find the big ball point dabber to be utterly useless.
