I do believe that the Flowerpot (I can only comment on SH) may be superior in a purely medical sense to your other vaporizers as good as they are. And in terms or sheer recreational enjoyment potential it is hard to beat IME, and bear in mind that I say and can see this despite me suffering badly every time I went near the device!:lol:

But take it as a testament. Hey Im not meaning to try and influence you or anyone. But I would love for you to test one out though and see how it feels and if it could further enhance your life in any way, not least enjoyment factor of sacred medicine.

I forget the member now who was busy working lots, who remarked about you trying his nearby. Sounded like it could be on the cards?:cool:

Yes this is official as of (3,4? (5?)) days ago now- bit foggy. All Vrods going out now will be V2. @emmdeemo however may have swiped one of the V1's but will be an even fun Christmas cracker finding out.:popcorn: (£20 on V1 secretly sshhh!)

Enjoy the last tidbits of ypur cherished GSC and hope your substitutes are equally enjoyable until next GSC harvest (not that long now really,,withnluck we will have our autos done and dusted 8 1/2 weeks from now.) :)

So I tend to lurk a lot. Mainly because I know someone else is likely going to contribute my own thoughts because of all the talented vaporists out there. @invertedisdead @steama @lazylathe This is a call to arms! (testing :science:)

I remember reading through a thread where people were discussing holding in a hit versus exhaling near instantly and how one vs the other got them higher. I thought... why not both? I believe lazylathe mentioned taking deep breaths before for best absorption. Well, what if you also took breathes while exhaling letting fresh air in? I'm pretty wrecked right now thanks to the FP and that technique and I'd like everyone to try it and let me know what they think. I'm going to start trying this with every vape, but I started with the Showerhead. :whoa:

That kind of does it for me. I too have trouble with harsh vapor. The least with my Sh but anything smoother is always nice. The only thing that was holding me back is the fact i'm using a Kubeone with D-nail coil to power my Sh. I need a lower power consumption nail for battery pack use anyway.

Has anyone had any success with their Vrod using a 20mm coil not purchased from NV? What coils (other than NV) would work with the Vrod? Any confirmed? My high5 20mm coil at 12.7mm isn't even close.

I thought this thread would be bumping with Vrod activity with new owners! Guess it's still too soon.

I have my eye on you @emmdeemo !

I'm making a batch of half a dozen cables, but due to lack of availability of female connectors, they are way too expensive ($45 USD)! Still trying to find a better solution for others ...

Testing takes time. And plenty of naps.

However, I like the VROD. Yep.

There are a lot of initial thoughts I could go into, but I dunno if they are genuine opinions/facts or just initial feelings at the moment, and I fucking hate unfounded opinions/knee jerk thoughts presented as firm findings or anything other than what they actually are, so it'll take me a while to catalogue the thoughts/experience I have.

That being said, the first thing I'm willing to report is never having known a double decker so smooth as the one I just did. I didnt skimp on either the flower or the dab and even on the best of days for my lungs, a DD that big doesnt go down as smooth on the SH. Very nice. I'm not really noticing a flavour increase but I am noticing a 'cleaner' taste. It seems less tainted with a metal taste that I didnt really know was there before but is noticeably absent now, and it certainly seems like a metal/clean thing. Obviously, my shitty lungs play a major role in this so others may have completely different experiences. I dont remember any 'tainted/metal' flavour on the SH with flower, just with dabs.

EDIT: Hmmm, I'm not happy with that 'tainted/metal' description. Not sure how to put it correctly but that aint it.

EDIT 2: Its like when something is improved that you didnt know could be improved upon. I've had quartz, Ti and SiC before, and the difference was completely lost on me. My senses just werent attuned enough. After dabbing on Ti this last few months with quality rosin, I'm accustomed to the flavour I was getting.

Slight localised browning, but I didnt stir and the bowl ended up very evenly brown. I get slight localised browning anyway as I'm still on v1 of the bowl stem with the slight air leak.

Capped, cos of the dab.

I went straight in at 570f, same temp I was at with the SH this last few days. I've been purely dabbing for the last few weeks so this was my first bowl of flower is some time.

Er... I think thats it for now.

Dabbing on some organic LSD rosin, and some guavadawg. Both pressed last night. Flower was LSD.

EDIT: Goodbye, custom drilled 6 hole shower cap, I already dont miss you in the slightest! :D

EDIT: VROD feels more efficient for dabs. This is way way way less irritating on my lungs at exactly the same temps I was dabbing on the SH.

Glad to see you’re enjoying the vrod. I love it. It absolutely rocks for both flower and wax. The metal taste that comes from dabbing of ti really dilutes the flavor of dabs imo. It is something that once you realize you are tasting it you will always taste it from now on.

I'm receiving my v2 Vrod starter kit today, got it with a quartz dish since they're out of SiC. Can you guys give me some recommended starting temps for just flower and just dabs, there's a lot of info here with SH temps mixed in with vrod temps for me to pour through.

So here this is... I suppose now we can get several and customize the vrod to our draw? or simply customize the vrods airflow?

If anyone from Canada is placing an order from NewVape ... maybe order like 20 of these ... and post them in the classifieds for us Canadians!

Send them in an envelope then regular mail with stamps for $5 each. Should be able to even make some money at it! :lol:

Should have everything ready to be shipped out by end of week, or by Monday at the latest. Parts made it through customs so I should have everything Wednesday or Thursday.
