Really excited. Just got shipping notice from @InterplanetaryTanner. Getting two more Launch Pads for the house. I just think anyone who has a Vapcap should have a Launch Pad. I have magnets on an ashtray, stashes, and an Altoids tin, but the Launch Pad is the go to when I need a heat sink for my caps.

And I picked up a Super Weapon II grinder. I'm not in love with my electric grinder. And I feel like I should be. I'm going to let the SW II go head-to-head with it and keep the one I like the best.

I picked up a few launch pads and I gotta say these things are great to have around the house. I have a stash too but its nice to not have to carry it around the place.

I have had my SWII for maybe a year and its been a great grinder. It gets sticky and gunked up but I give it regular cleaning and its back to new. I really like the grind consistency of the SWII.

Just wanted to pop in and share a quick and simple mod that has eliminated all rattle for me and protects the precious vapcap. Just a couple of small circles cut into a scrap piece of silicone. One tucked in the bottom and one in the top. Becomes like an inert rod with this in place, I love it. I also love how you can just flip the middle piece around to accommodate a regular sized cap, and have a bigger stash! This thing is awesome.

My solution to the rattle was just putting in small amounts of degummed hemp fiber at the bottom till it gave just enough pressure from the case to keep the cap from rattling!
Also I super glued a dynamag to the bottom of my stash for easy cap holding while i pack my cap and for a nice heat sink when i need to force a cool down! Both mods made me love my silo even more!

My SWII and 2 Launch Pads arrived.

I believe I've found my everyday grinder. Fits my hands well. Smooth operation, and it'll be a breeze to clean to when it's time. I like the grind quality. It's very fast for the amounts I grind. And given how easy it is it gives me options to grind a lot or a little, without worrying about hurting or fatiguing my hands. The same cannot be said for my other grinders.

@InterplanetaryTanner is the black coin-looking object used by putting in the grinder to extract more kief? And should I remove the friction ring for cleaning or always leave it on? Great job. I love my Silo XL, used it yesterday, can't live without my Launch Pads, and the SWII looks like it's going to be just as handy and perfect for my everyday needs.

Is there any way (or need?) to buy a new friction ring once the old one has worn down enough to be useless? I'm using my SW without one now and having the smoothness of a brand new ring would be great.

Any other thoughts? Or improvements?

Magnets likely wouldn’t be included, but we’d make it easy to figure out.

If 20 people are interested, I’ll go ahead and start producing these. They will be handmade and ceramic, And we really just need enough committed orders to cover the cost of product.

Include a magnet for sure

Definitely would like to see a magnet.

Assumed aluminum. Any way you could machine them? It would be kinda cool to have a magnet on them. Or go crazy and have magnets instead of holes.

What price point are you thinking?

It's really not worth me ordering stuff from the US unfortunately, once they kick in with the customs crap :/ SWII at 50% off saves me £3 over buying a full price one from Hedonist Club in UK so I might as well keep getting stuff through there!

If adding a magnet would bump the manufacturing up too much, how about switching an end hole for a depression that fits a magnet, so it looks meant to be when someone glues an ebay magnet in there?

Ok, we can totally put magnets in it then. Or ditch the holes and use magnets only.

I’m thinking Ceramic. We can make it ourselves, which allows for the minimum we need to sell to make it worth while to be much much lower than mass producing something. Plus you also get that special handcrafted feeling.

As for price, probably $30-$40

@Skunkport, totally understandable. We love Tariq over there in the EU. Order away from him instead!
