Right on. My hits are so smooth I’ve been taking water out of my rigs to get a chest punch feeling lol. And I don’t like that it sounds like if I draw as hard as I can with the VROD I get uneven roasting with a dark circle where I can draw at any speed for my SH and get even extraction.

This is especially important for sharing because teaching people how to draw in a circle when your just trying to get baked is annoying The SH is almost brainless in groups, other than the fact that unfamiliar people have gotten some burns. And I see what you mean about being able to just use the VROD as an enail cuz I don’t like mixing flowers and trates. I also don’t like getting my flower device sticky and dirty with trates.

And to be honest I don’t care for sic, doesn’t taste better than quartz for me at all. Also think bangers give you a better dab cuz of the ability to use a directional or bubble cap and spin the oil. So for me the VROD would be a waste of $90 + the price newvape coil modded to use with my auber controllers. Just doesn’t seem like the device for me. I’m glad you like it though.

That’s the great thing about vaping and cannabis in general. It’s all up to personal preference. Some like some vapes some like others. Some like some strains some like others. Some like things like prefilled carts and some dont. different folks different strokes.

Kinda it happens less but can still happen especially with temps above 630. The best solution I have found is to use a carb cap or a glass bowl from Stevenlmz.

Make it longer, and make a 2nd ridge for 10mm male as well, you’ll have the quatrifecta on top of the perfect trifecta!!!!
Just wondering with my 2 cents if it’s still possible or is already in the mill??

I don’t have any 10mm glass, but are there a lot in that size that you’d be comfortable putting the weight of the head and cable on?

If so I’d support trying that or doing a separate 10mm post, but the 10mm glass I’ve seen has all been pretty small and light.

Hello everyone!
I’ve been using the 14mm glass bowl that @Justpassedu posted about from eBay.
Got it a couple days ago and so far it’s great! The glass screen has smaller holes and more of them than the bowls I got from stevenlmz. Which helps keep ground bud in the bowl during stirring and not falling through into my water tool. It has a nice mellow taper under the glass screen to allow even airflow across the entire surface of the herb above.
The only downside so far is that more herb gets through it than basket screens or the double weave Ti screens. And when I cash the bowl I usually have to poke little bits of herb out of a few holes in the screen. So all in all, I like it a lot and I think it’s a solid option.

You shouldn’t have to turn it up that hot. I vape the reclaim in my post and screen by just putting a carb cap on and just keep puffing on it. Once the bowl gets a good heat soak you’ll start pulling vapor :tup:
That what works for me anyway.

I have been using one of the Flowerpot approved coils and controllers. It worked fine for a time but then it started playing up. I could switch it on but it would take ages before the display actually came on. Once it was on it worked perfectly. The controller uses the XMT7200 PID so I ordered a new one ($16 including postage!) and now its fine again. I was wondering if others have seen this or whether I just got a dud PID.

In anticipation of my SH arriving soon I'd like to ask what is the best way to clean everything before first use to get rid of any of the manufacturing process residue / oil etc.

Would just a good clean with 99 ISO suffice? Can't wait.....

Thanks to you both! Really appreciate your feedback as I just ordered mine. Heads up Canucks: You can order one from Ebay China like me, or you can purchase 2 and have them shipped to Canada with FREE shipping ($50 shipped for the 2 bowls). You need to contact the seller though as it's ebay.COM and he's not setup to ship outside the USA by default.

I have always used screens in all my glass stems, etc... even with the Solo glass stems, Vriptech bowls... glass is best, but I just can't stand any particulate being pulled through..... get enough of it with a finer grind with just a regular mesh screen IMO. I could see a Claisen style adapter being an effective tool here.

Yes! You may get some blackish residue come off of it from manufacturing, and I would also give it a good heat soak.

Honestly dude I didn't even soak it. I just dropped it in some ISO, used some qtips, paper towel, hot water rinse, dry, then fire it up and enjoy! :)

I was planning on picking up the SH again since it's been stated that it's still KING for flowers, but now i'm not so sure.

Flowers only..... SH or Vrod? @invertedisdead has me double thinking things..

@biohacker thanks for the info, for me I decided to go with the SH as it's generally regarded very highly for flower, so that and a combination of the cost lead me to stick to what I regarded as the safer option for my finances; I'm sure the Vrod and the updated version are fantastic but I went with what's been around longer and solid for my needs.

FlowerPot is definitely in my Top 5 vapes without a doubt after using it only for a few days. The dabbing system in here is the best out of any vape, that is for certain. Vaping flowers is also up there both in terms of taste and extraction speed. When you combine the two together, it is absolutely insane!!!

Maybe it's just the honey moon phase, but so far I feel like it's better than the Glass Symphony. Taste is not as good as the ELEV8R, however the high is substantially more noticeable because of the double decker.

Need to test it out more. Slowly creeping up the ranks.

The fucker will take anything you shove in it!

I know a bunch of ppl in the thread particularly were liking whole buds in the bowl.

You want instant clouds? Fine grind. You want more flavour, no grind.
